kdhr- Gaji first kopek & badge live in uk

Aloha..

Korang semua ingat tak dulu2 masa korang pertama kali kerja sepenuh masa, gaji pertama korang dapat.
Apa korang buat eh? masa kemas2 barang aku, aku jumpa balik dua item.

- patch yang aku beli masa dapat gaji pertama aku last century dan
- jugak badge Helloween Live In UK yang aku dapat pada tahun 1989 kot? dah lama eh, tapi badge ni masih in excellent condition.
Aku tahu aku tak buang ni dua, cuma misplaced. So happy jumpa balik ni dua item.

AC/DC Moneytalks nye patch. Aku beli ni kat LaVanita Peninsular Shopping Center lepas aku dapat gaji pertama aku in the 20th century, skarang dah 21st kan? wah..lama dah haha.
Patch ni dan lagu ni sendiri cam symbolic kot untuk aku, ye la dah keja, dah kena pandai2 sendiri. Tak bleh harapkan sapa2 sangat lagi.

Live In UK nye badge, hehehe sapa sini tak pernah dengar ni album eh. Zaman tu zaman kaset. Best of the best ni live album, short and sweet. So adakah aku akan pergi nengok Helloween this Sunday? baru lepas nengok Iron Maiden, mesti kasi cool...dan mungkin aku lepas ni selain nak nengok Maiden lagik sekali, mungkin aku cita2 nak nengok X Japan ( dorang pun dah reunion jugak ), band2 lain tu - dapat pegi ok, tak dapat pegi dah tak heran. Tapi, takde peral aku nak pegi Helloween ler hehe.

Aku harap epic song lagu panjang, dorang main Keeper Of Seven Keys instead of Helloween. Dan at least two ballads la, Tale That Wasnt Right ngan Forever And One. Mesti best giler nye Helloween bawak ballads ni macam kat Fort Canning open space di bawah bintang2. Tapi I think Sole Survivor nye lagu dah kena drop dari setlist untuk Japan nye shows last few days. Boringggg...

Maiden Perth (part last bas) - Makan

"Now we've come to the end, otherwise it gets boring." - Michael Kiske during Future World, HELLOWEEN LIVE IN UK. Click all photos to enlarge. Slurp..slurp.. And the end, apa lagi mesti pasal makan ler \m/!! Cam aku cakap, Perth ni mahal ler. Standard of living dorang tinggi. Jadi harga makanan pun memang tahap cekik darah. Sana nak carik makanan halal tu mudah jugak, aku tak la pergi sampai nak cek sijil ori dari Majlis Agama Islam or what, tapi cukup la kalo nampak cam middle eastern/turkish gitu ngan tulisan " hah lam alif lam " tapi memang ada eating places siap ngan those sijil2 rasmi gitu. Kalo korang rasa was2, korang bleh just tanya penjual tu k. Ni semua yang kat gerai kebab gambo atas tu, dia kat along errmm dekat ngan Murray / Hay St sana. Apa eh ni? lupa la, macam2 kebab gitu la. One thing, sini takde macam, small portion ke hapa ke, jadi kalo sekali order, dia main satu serving size je, sikit lebih kurang minimum without drinks dah $11AUS ke atas. Mahal kan? Ni baru makan je tau, tapi korang tahu apa yang kecohrablenye tak? Mineral water gitu, saiz biasa gitu, kat sana satu botol $2.50AUS wooo. Bayangkan eh, kat Puduraya ke, Larkin ke sebotol 1rm, korang bayangkan, berapa kali ganda harga dah naik. Lagi Perth lagi udara kering gitu.. haus je tekak. Lagi satu kan, air paip dorang tak sedap la. Semacam sey rasa. Tapi biasa la kan, kalo tak jumpa nasik, mesti semacam gitu kan. So mesti nak nasik jugakk. Tapi nasik dia sedap la, beras mahal kot dia pakai. Ni semua photos atas ni semua lain2 dishes tau. Tapi korang perasan tak, vegetables dia banyak kan? macam2 sayuran. Healthy living kot hehe. Ni burger style gitu. Ni lak makan kat Freemantle.. So kena pandai ah kalo korang gi sana, roti, marjerin, tuna, mee maggi, semua ada kat convenience stores so korang pandai2 ler survivor ek. Kalo korang dapat tempat cam gini, better. makcik ngan anak makcik ngah jualan ni lepas unroll roti kebab tu..Dia macam crunchy crunchy gitu la sayur2 dia So nak carik nasik melayu tak jumpa, nasik lemak ke, nasik rawan ke jenganan ke, nasik sambal goreng ke. Kedai mamak pun takde, tapi tak yah la pasal aku tak bleh bayangkan roti prata/ roti canai satu keping berapa $AUS dorang charge ekeke. So ni restoran Indon. Makcik gitu sekeluarga operate. Kena turun tangga, ni cam basement gitu. Nasik campur, a bit Indon kot, tapi ok je la. Dan murah, kira jauh lagi murah dari kebab2 all that, nasik dua pinggan campur air, nasik taruk lauk2 ikan ke ayam kicap ke, ngan sayur2 daun turi gitu dan kentang all that about $17AUS. Memang mahal untuk kita kat Spore dan Msia makan tapi compared to Kebab nye stores memang dah murah ler. Ni opnion aku ler. Korang tau apa yang aku rasa kelakar, korang kalo makan nasik campur, mesti nanti selalu penjual tanya nak sambal? "sambal apa nak? serunding nak? " sambal belacan ke sambal tumis ke mesti ada kan, atau pun ada sambal nye mangkuk korang self-service ambik sendiri kan? Tapi kedai ni, aku nengok mana sambal dia? aku tanya la anak makcik " sambal nya dimana dong? " ngan best Indon lingo aku ekekeke. Dia cakap kejap, dia pegi kat icebox keluarkan satu mangkuk ni, then siap tanya mak dia " boleh ya?" , eh? kita sambal tu cam necessity kan kalo kat kedai nasik campur, tapi dorang cam langsung tak exist wooo. Culture shock siak aku. Sana Mekdi ada la, tapi tak makan la kan, bukan cam kita kat sini fast food usually ada sijil semua. Lagi satu sana Burger King nama dia kat sana Hungry Jack. Aku assume pasal logo semua very similar ngan kita nye Burger King. Pakkal tak bleh makan, kalo tak mesti nak try mat salleh nye whopper cammana eh.. ah ni lak tu hari aku ada cerita pasal Pancake Day tu kan, ni auntie auntie ngah masak2 pancake jual amal gitu.. Pancake aku cuma biasa makan Mekdi nye je. Lama lak tak brekpes kat mekdi eh. Ramai jugak orang beli. Bagus la eh sambil makan2 beramal. Polis man pun aku nengok join in makan2. Korang jangan ketawa eh, kasi chance la aku sekali2 seumur hidup dapat naik kapalterbang. So makanan kapalterbang pun aku snap gambo wakakaka. Obvious jakun siak, mesti stewardess ngan penumpang lain nengok aku mesti bisik2 "that fellow never take plane before ah? " ekekeke. Tapi sedap lak eh makanan plane. SIA nye la. Korang ingat eh, sapa korang yang jarang naik plane cam aku, kalo naik plane mintak Muslim Food, kalo boleh masa beli tiket tu korang dah mintak. Kalo korang naik cam MAS ke hapa ke no problem kan, tapi cam SIA gitu baik cakap. Kalo tak takut korang makan roasted peanuts je. Tapi best la, haus je bleh mintak oren jius, apel jius, apa2 drink ler. Mula2 aku ingat kena bayar tau wakakaka. So aku tak berani nak mintak2, sekali tu missus aku cakap 'free la', so aku apa lagi, everytime tu stewardess tolak2 trolley lalu je kan, mintak la tapi mintak ngan courtesy ler. Kacang ke hapa ke ekekee. Balik dapat goodie bag lagik , dalam ada Ben10 nye games, ada powerpuff girls dolls etc. Ada stewardess Melayu tu kasi. Thank yewk. Lupa lak, korang tau, aku nengok ceta Kingdom total 3 kali ah pegi balik. Best woo ceta ni, ni ceta pasal kat Saudi Arabia, tentang pergolakan agama dan perlanggaran budaya dan fahaman. Best woo, violent abis. Brutal bom! bom! bom! bomb meletup2 tembak2 gitu. Last but not least, ni dia Changi Terminal 3 food court, nasik ayam penyek $5 tak salah aku. Ok la, tapi nothing great. Dan Cheng Teng sejuk punye. Yang ni harga $1.50 tak salah aku. I like. So thats it kot?, Hope you guys enjoyed aku nye merapu pasal Maiden Perth \m/ till the next time, Up The Irons!!

latest - Ian Gillan sebut pasal pertama kali DP di Msia `British disease'

Ni penyanyi Deep Purple - Ian Gillan tulis untuk Times pasal dorang main private gig kat Kremlin Russia tu hari depan politicians Russia.
Paling menarik pasal cerita dia tentang pertama kali nak masuk Malaysia. Lepak siak.
The first time we played Malaysia it took a year to get the contract signed because they vetted every single lyric to see if it was offensive. They were worried that we were going to infect their kids with the “British disease”.

I still remember the third clause in our Malaysian contract: “The boys in the band will not allow their hair to fall upon their shoulders.” We all had to wear cowboy hats and head-dresses to keep our hair up.

Deep Purple perform for Russia's future president
A Deep Purple singer reveals how the band got Vladimir Putin’s chosen successor to loosen up at a private gig
Ian Gillan

Last week’s show for Gazprom, the Russian energy giant, at the Kremlin Palace theatre was the first private gig that Deep Purple have ever done in Russia and it caused a big fuss. People evidently don’t realise that private gigs are pretty common. They are what musicians call “tennis and bar mitzvah gigs”.

We had to move around a couple of dates on the Latin American leg of our world tour to make it but the hassle was worth it. I had never been inside the Kremlin before – I had shivered and trembled outside on a number of occasions – and it was great. The atmosphere was like an end-of-term dance.

Security was high but being checked by the guards was a lot less dehumanising than going through most commercial airports. The hospitality was fantastic. They provided my normal two boiled eggs, slices of toast, beers and whisky – and I have to say my eggs were cooked to perfection.

We were there because Dmitry Medvedev, the outgoing chairman of Gazprom (and the presumptive Russian president), is a Deep Purple fan and has been all his life. We have always been big in Russia. When it was still the Soviet Union I remember playing the most amazing places – in the Caucasus, east of the Urals, everywhere.
Don't mess with our madrigals, Vladimir

We would play a stadium for a week and whole villages would turn up with their chickens and goats and make campfires. They wouldn’t know why they were there but there was an event going on and they wanted to be part of it. And when we played they went mental.

A lot of Russian people of a certain generation learnt their English through hearing rock and pop songs on the radio. That’s how Medvedev got into Deep Purple. We used to play songs like Child in Time, which told them that there were people on the outside of their country who felt similarly disenchanted with their leaders. It’s quite refreshing now to see how things have loosened up in Russia.

The gig at the Kremlin was fun but it wasn’t wild. If people aren’t used to going to rock shows they don’t know what the protocol is. It’s quite hard to go mental when you’re in a suit and you’ve just come from the office. But playing for a more reserved crowd is nothing new for us. We’ve played in Japan where they’re very reserved. The applause comes on and off like a tap and they all stand up and sit down at exactly the same time.

The Kremlin gig wasn’t as straight as all that. The younger guys and more junior staff were all up on their feet, although they were looking nervously over at their bosses to see whether they could loosen their ties. It was as if they were asking, “How much fun are we allowed to have?” I’m sure I could have had everyone on their feet but I knew Tina Turner was on next and it wouldn’t have been cool to do that.

When we had finished our show, Medvedev and Alexei Miller, the chief executive of Gazprom, came into our dressing room where we had a chat and a couple of drinks. We didn’t get a chance to meet President Vladimir Putin but when the previous acts were on – an opera singer and a dance troupe – he was up there dancing with his tie loosened.

When we met Medvedev he had this stupid grin on his face because he was meeting his favourite band. We had a nice chat but we didn’t talk about politics. All of us in the band have such wildly different opinions on religion and politics that we never get into it.

We did talk to Medvedev about how Russia has changed. He asked what we thought of Moscow now and I told him that it was a cool city – which it is.

You know that rumour about Miller pushing back the deadline for Gazprom’s deal with Ukraine by eight hours, just so he wouldn’t spoil our show? Well, I asked him to do that.

Only joking: that’s the sort of plan you hatch only when you’ve had a lot more vodka.

Maiden Perth (part viii) - Shopping & Sunset

Perth ni bukan tempat shopping, tapi terkopak jugak. So ni semua Hay St, Murray St. Yang atas ni macam medieval nye lane and building gitu. Lawa. Ingat apa, rupanya dalam kedai2.. Building ni opened 1937 gitu.. Memang dorang fetish kot benda2 gini, mana2 pegi nampak. Celah2 gitu tau2 ada wayang nye tempat. Quite a number jugak kedai gini.. Gunting rambut.. Kat Spore kalo korang gi kedai mamak ke, kedai melayu ke, ok la average kita taruk $10 ke $9 la. Kalo JB, korang gi Wong Ah Fook sana yang mamak india barber semua ok la 10RM, kalo kedai2 melayu kat Larkin taruk la 8RM ke 9RM. Korang tau...kat Perth nye shopping district ni Hay St, Murray St ni, adult is $17AUS siot. Dah berapa kali ganda tu...So korang bayangkan standard of living kat Perth ni. Ni baru Perth, kalo Sydney gitu, mau lagi mahal kot. Aku ingat aku nak belajar gunting rambut la gini macam. csntik tau kawasan ni.. Ada Pancake Day Siap ada bagpipers gitu. Pancake Day ni significant dia, kalo korang beli pancake yang dijual, wang tu disalurkan kat orang2 susah. Cam kita jugak ada kumpul2 dana gitu. Masa main ada satu orang cek cek gitu kat serombong dia, ntah apa dia cek. ( gambo2 orang buat pancake nanti aku ceta part makan k ) Ada dekni busking gitu..kecoh beb. Ni Harbour Town. Naik bas percuma bleh sampai..Dah lupa apa color, Yellow kot. Satu cakap - Perth best holiday dia pernah pergi, padahal dia dah sampai Mesir, LA, Las Vegas dan apa2 lagi la dia dah sampai. Not bad la kira ni Perth eh. Tapi memang la, aku kagum siak orang naik bas greet driver, turun bas cakap thank you . Semua cam courtesy , tak kelam kabut. Best siot. Sapa tahu eh, lain kali ada rezeki, bleh nengok negeri omputeh lagi ek. Before this aku tak pernah sangka bleh sampai tempat omputeh cam gini, tapi sampai jugak. Ngan better half aku lak tu. Siap nengok Iron Maiden lagi. Beyond my wildest dreams ni semua. Life ni so unpredictable. Here I stand all alone Have my mind turned to stone Have my heart filled up with ice To avoid its breakin twice Thanks to you, my dear old friend But you cant help, this is the end Of a tale that wasnt right I wont have no sleep tonight Skarang ngah dengar lagu ni.. I wish Helloween play this ballad live next week.. Mesti pengsi nye \m/

Maiden Perth (part vii) - Continue Jalan Jalan & Swan Bell

Masuk sokkabar, PM Australia mintak maaf kat semua orang Abo eh, untuk berpuluh2 tahun kaum Abo kena tindas kena degradation gitu. Sambung k.. Kat Perth ni kan, satu Kangaroo or koala pun aku tak nampak. Aku cam ingat kat Australia ni, mana2 pokok pun ada Koala bear gitu bergayut2. (Satu2nye tempat aku pernah nampak kangaroo ialah kat Mandai Zoo). Tapi aku nampak ni kangaroo batu.. Random pic ni bangunan apa ntah dah lupa. Perth ni kan, korang jalan2 gitu banyak peringatan sejarah.. Cam along the path tu dia ada macam taruk cerita2 kat lantai, sort of like walk of fame gitu kot. Bangunan lama ngan baru hidup side by side gitu cam ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony.. yang ni lawa.. Aku memang suka benda2 macam medieval2 gitu. 16th Century Greensleeves gitu hohoho. Then macam rumah perseorangan pun cam gitu jugak. Cam fairy tale nye buku. Satu benda Perth ni kan, air paip dia rasa lain sangat. Tak sedap langsung. Tapi kat certain places, ada disediakan cam water cooler gitu. Cam ni kat satu bus stop. Best eh. pos opis dorang Lupa lak ni lagi satu gambo luar museum.. Gramaphone besar giler. doktor gigi zaman dulu.. Perth ni satu kan, dorang tak macam kat Malaysia ke Singapore ke waktu malam cam bustling gitu, bukan je kat bandar2 tapi mana2 pun kita dah biasa tempat2 kedai2 24jam gitu, kul 2 pagi pun bleh gi kedai nengok bola sambil makan2 minum2, bleh shopping kat mustafa, tapi kat Perth, kul 5 kul 6 gitu kedai tutup dah. Malam terus jadi gini, unless korang gi nitespot dia. Nanti next segment aku cakap lebih, especially cam korang smua dah biasa shopping malam ke lepas keja ke, kat Perth no such thing. Paling lepak, hari ahad, shopping banyak tutup. Ksiao eh. Tapi kan beb, dorang nye public toilets bersih2 beb. Free pun. We built this city, we built this city of rock n roll... King Kong tulis pakai pen ni kot Perth banyak taman2 rehat2 gini, malam pun macam tak tutup je. Tapi takde sampah2 gitu. Mungkin some things, dorang lagi civilised. I like. Before round up this posting, ni Swan Bells nye photos. Dia mengadap Swan River. Tempat bemacam2 loceng gitu. Tourist attraction le kira tapi memang cantik. Macam gelap gitu eh. Aku pasang satu filter tau kat lens, yang tak mau kasi glaring ke hapa ntah. Takpe aku ada chance godey2 masa pegi Airshow kat Changi nanti next week. At night, the Swan Bells will transform into a colourful tower. Different glows of red, yellow, blue, green etc. Best duk kat situ ada water fountain, rumput2 all that. Bentuk dia macam kapal layar ek. Nanti sambung k..
