Belinda Carlisle Live - Heaven 30th Anniversary 11th November 2017 @ Star, Singapore. Review/Ulasan/Bootleg

Hi all. A short review and opinion of Belinda Heaven 30th Anniversary show last night...
I will just narrate in English for this one.

As I am bias, I will rate this show as my second favourite live show of the year 2017.

Number one will be all the Iron Maiden shows that I attend backpacking all over Scotland, Wales and England watching Maiden plays their full UK Tour in May.

Its a treat to able to watch Iron Maiden a few times and also Belinda plays in one year. Two of my favourite "white people" band/performer. But To say these two are my favourites is a bit understatement actually.. LOL!!

Firstly... lets get something out of the way..
BELINDA did you use backing tape for some of the chorus last night??
If you do, there is no need. Your audience are the Hardcore fans surely, they will do the backing vocals in their minds at least.
If you don't, Forgive me.
Anyway, her keyboardist did the live backing vocals mostly.

Secondly, Heaven On Earth is not my favourite album of hers, not even 2nd or 3rd favourite. Some great fast songs, but for me REAL will always be her best solo album.
I think many of her fans will be happy she did Big Scary Animal last night.
I also think Live Your Live Be Free and Runaway Horses are superior albums.
Still Heaven is a great album, but this is Belinda Carlisle and her solo albums are mostly great.
Though the new latest one, I do not understand it (yet!).

What a show last night.
The momentum is amazing from start to finish. She is a master of performing live.
The exciting and thrilling pacing of the show keeps going, even when she plays her slow songs.
There are abundant of nice fast numbers in the setlist.
Live the songs transformed to even better. Heaven Is A Place On Earth is stretched more with audience participation at the start and the band playing on at the end, Valentine is so punchy live and of course Big Scary Animal.
And I will never get tired of that Beatles' George Harrison guitar solo on Leave A Light On.

Belinda's backing band is made up of a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and drummer.
Really rocking band and they are simply awesome.

Belinda is on top form, over 90 minutes and her voice is amazing.
Just like Bruce Dickinson she gets better live with age. (LOL!!)

Minimum talk-cock with the audience, she just let the music do the talking.

Its lovely to watch her full show at last, and not some "sharing the stage with other perfomer" shows where she performed shorter sets.

Song selection wise, Singapore get more songs than most shows in UK for the current tour,
its the same amount of songs like the London show,
but she swapped Runaway Horses with La Luna for the Singapore show compared to the UK ones for this Heaven On Earth 30th Anniversary tour.

I Feel Free
Nobody Owns Me
World Without You
I Get Weak
Circle In The Sand
Fool For Love
Summer Rain
La Luna
Should I Let You In?
Vision Of You
We Can Change
Valentine
(We Want) The Same Thing
Leave A Light On
Heaven Is A Place On Earth

1st encore
Big Scary Animal
Mad About You
Live Your Live Be Free

2nd encore
Love Never Dies

so not even one Go-Gos song. No We Got The Beat.
no Lay Down Your Arms, no I Plead Insanity, no Little Black Book.., no Always Breaking My Heart (Roxette's Per Gessle wrote this song for Belinda use)
no so many songs!!... if its up to me she would spent the whole night singing the songs I want.

I was just feel she should do Falling Into You  live.
THATS HER SONG!!!!!!!!  before Celine Dion hijack it. Damn it!!
Maybe one day... one day..... hoepfully she will release the demo to that song she did.

so she plays the whole Heaven On Earth album.
Six songs from Runaway Horses (very happy she played Valentine)
One each from Real, her first album, and Live Your Live Be Free.
so that makes it NINETEEN songs.
Really no complaints, especially as its a Heaven 30th Anniversary celebrations.

She talks about Rick Nowells. She called " MAD GENIUS!!"

I always think she got the best song writers , musicians and backing vocals for her studio albums.
I especially like the songs written by the Go-Gos guitarist Charlotte something for Belinda.

Anyway, as its a Heaven tour, she should call up Wilson Philips all 3 of them to do her backing vocals. LOL!!

Thats about it, worth the ticket, worth it for not coming to work for the night. LOL!!

I have this crazy idea of doing a full backpacking British Tour when Belinda does her next British Tour.

Ohhh she did say " See you Runaway Horses 30th Anniversary "...
Hurray!!

Lastly, I really love the way the whole show proceed last night, I mean from the moment I take the escalator to go up, scan the ticket, security checks and everything.

The organiser/promoter are very good, and their staff superb too. Again no complaints but lots of compliments from my point of view.

ermmm...

ermmm....

ermmm...

just in case anybody is interested...

This is the boots from last night... Its just for myself ok...
but there maybe be someone who understand how to listen to a fan bootleg..
though I am very happy with the outcome.

I created a rushed simple cover though -

This is the upload

For fellows fans only..

Belinda Carlisle live date confirmed.

First in Bahasa Melayu and then in English.

Muahahaha. So aku boleh gi dua2 haha.

Ni la lejen. Cengkih segala cengkih.
Kalau aku dapat jumpa dia aku cakap " You are Ronnie James Dio equal". haha.
"AND I HAVE SEEN YOU AND RONNIE DIO PERFORM AT The same place - FORT CANNING PARK!!" (both amazing nights )
hahaaha...

and please STAR THEATRE IS A SHIT PLACE FOR ME.
Play somewhere else please next time.
But I have no choice. I excuse myself this time from purposely avoiding this place.

Bulan 11, lambat lagi, tapi aku dah teruja, dan aku dah rezeb satu tiket.

(a quick from on top of the head) DREAM SETLIST.
Fantasy but realistic choices of popular songs.

- As its a Heaven On Earth 30 Years Celebration I will take 4 songs from that album.
- I have chosen only the singles and the popular songs to be realistic
- ROXETTE IS OPENING BAND. (yes yes I am over-fantasizing on this part).

1. Heaven Is A Place On Earth
2. Our Lips Are Sealed
3. World Without You
4. I Get Weak

5. Runaway Horses
6. Mad About You
7. Circles In The Sand
8. Leave A Light On
9. Do You Feel Like I Feel
10. New Song From Coming Album

11. Vision Of You
12. I Plead Insanity
13. Half The World
14. Always Breaking My Heart (Roxette joins on stage. Pers Gessle sings!)
15. New Song From Coming Album
16. Summer Rain
17. California
18. Falling Into You (First Time In History and the original singer blows away Celine Dion version)

19. Vacation
20. We Got The Beat
21. Little Black Book

22. Valentine
23. Lay Down Your Arms  (Charlotte Caffey plays please)
24. Big Scary Animal

I will surely miss out many songs surely.
I CANNOT EVEN FIT IN "LA LUNA", thats how difficult it is to create a fantasy setlist for Belinda Carlisle.
I know the above won't happen. Not in a million years. HAHAHA.

But this is the greatest female singer of them all
Belinda Carlisle can sing any song, she can sing Do-Re-Mi and not a problem for me.
Hell, she can sing just one song and go home and I will be happy.

So as the above advertisement says Belinda Carlisle is performing in Singapore coming November 2017. I am not so liking the Tour Name of Heaven's 30th Anniversary, as I am worried the focus is too much songs on Heaven's album.

I would rather a REAL 25th Anniversary to celebrate REAL album. Now that would ROCK!!

But still, beggars cannot be choosers..

Anyway, I think she has finished recording a new album.
I cannot wait.

Next

I try to find time to finally talk about the Prime Domestic CD Single which I obtained at their live show two weeks back, and the Japanese Only Release of Hanoi Rocks Million Miles Away..

Belinda Carlisle - Runaway Horses (triple discs remastered & expanded edition)

(Cover sikit, ehehehehe)

It has been some time since I mentioned about Belinda Carlisle, the best ever.

IRON WHAT??!!! Never heard of them.

So this is a continuation of my ongoing opinions and reviews of the avalanche of releases from her remastered and deluxed studio albums with additional cds and dvds, new live album and dvds, also the huge 5 disc boxset Anthology that came out in 2013 & 2014.
I hope she will release a brand new studio album in 2015.

I always think her Live Your Live Be Free album has an amazing arrays of sweet pop songs, and I still think her Real album is probably her best album due to its collection of fabulous rocking and raw sounding songs.

But Runaway Horses is purrfection, a combination of the above two. Exciting songs, some memorable ballads too. Bryan Adams is somewhere in there doing a duet, Maria Vidal of Body Rock fame sings backup and co-wrote the huge Summer Rain, and of course the late George Harrison (Beatles) and Steve Lukather (TOTO - personally I consider them the second best band in the world for me behind Maiden of course) plays and solos on some of the songs.
(Anyway, Steve Lukather is playing in Singapore soon, unfortunately I cannot make it, but I hope TOTO will come to both Malaysia & Singapore this year once their new album is release, so I hope to see them twice!! LOL!!! The thrill!!
Problem with TOTO is you do not know who to focus on when they perform live, so lets make it two shows then haha).

- So what can I say of Runaway Horses-the album?
lets see....

- I memorise the whole album LOL!!. Superb songs, best dramatic soul-grabbing singing ever, memorable lyrics, enjoyable music....
- From the glorious first song of Leave A Light On complete with THAT George Harrison slide guitar solo up to the finishing last song of the slow Shades Of Michaelangelo. With blockbusters after blockbusters in between - Summer Rain, Valentine, Vision of You, la Luna with the Spanish Guitars and Gypsy Violins etc etc

So here on this release,

we have three disc which includes the double cd remastered deluxe edition of Runaway Horses album plus the different singles edit versions, plus the remixes - the extended versions, the dub mixes, the haunting La Luna acapella version, and other mixes plus even a Kamikaze mix LOL!!

My only dislike is the edit remix of Valentine.
I always feel Valentine is a slow tempo miserable heartbreaking song, not an uptempo version and worse, that is the version that appeared on the 5 disc Anthology boxset. I skipped it!! A special song being butchered..sigh.
On the 3rd disc is the dvd featuring interviews regarding the Runaway Horses years and the videos from that period.

So, I hope to continue next time... still a few more to go... then after that.. lets switch to Madonna. LOL!!!

For the other Edsel Remastered Triple Disc studio albums, the Live In Metropolis cd/dvd, the five disc Anthology boxset and other things Belinda that I have talk-cock... go here- http://www.deaf-angel.blogspot.com/search/label/belindacarlisle

IRON WHAT??!! .... (LOL!!!)

Belinda Carlisle Anthology (5 disc set in a huge hardcover photo book) number 318 of 500

from Ronnie James Dio fantastic tribute album, to Lovehunters English album, and now to the latest Belinda Carlisle special release.
Label them what you want, discriminate each musical genre all you want, but its all Awesome music to me.
ok, How do I try to explain my thoughts?
I read that Led Zeppelin didn't release too many singles, because they wanted to be known as an Album band.
To discover them, you have to get the whole album, listen from start to finish, then you try to get the idea what they are all about.
In a way, its the same for me in terms of Belinda Carlisle, I dont listen to Pop radio, so to listen to Belinda Carlisle solo career, I listen to her whole albums.

So, Belinda Carlisle for me is also an Album artist. From start to finish her solo studio albums are fantastic and entertaining.

A combination of fast and slow songs - pop, rock, trance-laden, motown, soul and whatever. Its all good to me.

She is also maybe fortunate to collaborate with some really amazing song writers, people like Ellen Shipley, Rick Nowels, Go-gos Charlotte Caffey, even the famous Diane Waren and Roxette's Per Gessle collaborate with her, and even musicians to guitar solo for her like The Beatles George Harrison.
Before Sheryl Crow became world-famous, she sang background vocals for Belinda too under the name Cheryll Crowe.

I think a good way to describe her compared to other female artists is Form is Temporary but Class is Permanent. Belinda has been around since with the Go-Gos and how long was that? I think she got that HARDCORE support which is still very strong world-wide.

You can take a Belinda Carlisle song, stripped everything down, and its still a great song.

My copy comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Belinda with number 318 of 500. And there is a Tote Bag too in the package... which I still have not opened it yet.

So this is Belinda Carlisle 5 disc Anthology which comes in a  coffee-book table sized Photo Book format. There are 3 cds and 2 dvds.

The first two cds are a collection of her singles, the third cd has some of her rare songs like from the movies etc,
while the first dvd is a collection of her music videos of her singles, and the second dvd is a very nice collection of her performing on different tv entertainment programes and also some fabulous interviews from previous years.

My opinions and review of Belinda Carlisle anthology "boxset" content.
- How to fit an Anthology of her studio solo songs into two cds? IMPOSSIBLE!!!! so ok good idea, packed her singles in.
- Sun and Goodbye Just Go, some of her her very limited recent songs are here, I wish she would do a new studio album soon.
- But be warned, the songs are not necessary from the albums version, with Belinda singles known for having different mixes, so you have some songs which are the different remixes versions, notably Valentine. I was anticipating the 'tearjerker' album version LOL!

A breakdown of where the original songs in this first two cds of this Anthology came from each of her solo albums are as follows
- 7 songs from Runaway Horses album
- 6 songs from Heaven On Earth album
- 5 songs from Live Your Life Be Free album
- 2 songs from Real album
- 4 songs from A Woman And A Man album
- 3 songs from Belinda album
- 1 song from Icon album
- 1 song from the bonus disc of Voila album
- 2 songs from A Place On Earth Greatest Hits
- 1 song exclusive on this release

- the third cd, now the rarities, from different movies, from different special album releases, yes, there is a lot to say about that song from the Mannequin movie missing. But hopefully one day we will get it. But there is one amazing song present " BLESSED THE BEAST AND THE CHILDREN". Really nice song... but hey, she always have slow songs that gives me goose-bumps so its nothing unusual by right.

- Live In Japan, that one song from the REAL album was played that night but doesn't appear on this collection because the band stray into a Lou Reed number? LOL!! All those permissions and copyrights laws to be dealt with. But doesn't matter, we still got Emotional Highway!!!!!!
Continuing the tradition of great songs with Highway on the title - Highway Star, Highway To Hell, Heading Out To The Highway...etc LOL!!

.
.
moving on next,
.
.

- The first dvd is very nice, but the its the second dvd which is lots of fun and very interesting, oooo how I wish there is one footage from Letterman Show is it? Lay Down Your Arms accoustic with the Bangles and Go-gos guitarists playing acoustics and singing some amazing backing vocals at the same time??

- But its ok, that footage is on youtube, but we got other footages like Top Of The Pops, where most of the time artiste mimed their performance and at least Belinda don't really pretend faking too hard while obviously miming. She is just having fun with her band and backing singers.

Not as exxageratedly hilarious clowning around like Iron Maiden famous appearance "playing" Wasted Years on a German TV show last time though.

- Speaking of bands, its noticeable that Belinda always has a band with her even when she mimes on stage,
- Love the Children/Youth TV shows where she is guest and love the questions the Kids throw at her...
ok, I didnt know she wants to duet with Crowded House singer... Oh that guy really got talent, that Crowded House amazing singer/songwritter/guitarist guy LOL!!!.

- There was an interview which delves about something more serious topics like the L.A race riots. I find this is like a time capsule actually, discussing social issues which is still relevant today.

Another thing is at different TV programmes she so talk about saving the animals, the environment and all that, which I kind of support in my own way.
- There was also another bonus part of the dvd, which has Belinda going thru some of her songs that appear on one of her greatest hits compilations. That is also great.

....When the Go-Gos became the first all-female group to write and play their own.....

If you are a Belinda Carlisle fan, I think this Anthology 5 disc photo book edition is a bit costly, and yes there are a few gems that may still be missing, and yes, we still have the so-far four deluxe editions of her solo albums with I guess hopefully more to come, with triple discs versions for each deluxe edition album, but still I think this is a very good buy....

These are some photos of how the Belinda Carlisle Anthology looks like.... Click to enlarge.

Her recent lineup. Lily Gonzales looks very fit and healthy on the dvd that was live in Metropolis..

Thats about it...

"the sun comes up in China, the lights go on in Rome".

tale of two padded cells

not exactly the tale of two cities, which is in the news last week...

Anyway, a few days back this monster of a hardcover coffee table photo book (there is a fabulous 5 disc collection inside the book) called Belinda Carlisle The Anthology arrived, and I just have to snap a picture of these two beauty and the beast..side by side.
Which is the beauty? which is the beast?

Belinda and the beautiful fascinating Piece Of Mind cover lobotomised straightjacket attired Eddie -

-Similar background

-bare feet in forefront position

-knees bended though at different angles

ooo I got to search back for the Derek Riggs book which has his sketch of another version of the piece of mind album cover, Eddie was kneeling, now that is even more similar...

I can't be responsible

For anything I do now or say now

I get too excitable

To control the way I behave now

I'm afraid of what I'll do

If I find myself alone with you

It's just a crime of passion baby

Don't hold it against me

I'm innocent

I'm just out of my mind

I plead insanity

Whoa, I'm so mad about you

I can't think straight, I can't see straight

I plead insanity

All I do is obsess about you

I can't work days

I can't sleep nights

I will talkcock about this latest Belinda release more by next week, its a hard cover photo book, about the size of a vinyl album, with a total of 5 discs made up of 3 cds and 2 dvds.
(There is a very nice Live In Japan 2013 included)

I dont know how many copies were made but mine came with a numbered limited edition of 500 certificate.

I will show more details then. Now just a bit first.

"we know history......"

ok , ok,

I better stop now : )

to be continued soon...

(updated) sumbatsekaligus- belinda/syria/harga tiket rolling stones/slang defleppard mungkin/ jeddah makkah visitors to this blog/ BELGRADE!!

Mula2 aku ingat aku nak borak pasal Dendeng. Daging tipis2 gitu BBQ gitu. Enak sekali...cehhhh.
tapi takpelah tunggu minggu depan...berbual pasal makan-makan ni kena ada fefeeling gitu.

Anyway, aku memang banyak benda nak cakap sorang2,...so apa aku ingat sekarang aku sumbat je la semua satu posting senang.

1) Aku melayari youtube pasal sebenarnya dah tak sabar tunggu 5-disc Anthology Belinda Carlise.
Ni foto dia tengah tandatangan certificate gitu. Harap satu keping tu aku dapat. Cehhhh......Angan-angan!! I want cert  number 001. haha.
Memang susah sangat nak dapatkan hakcipta, dapat keizinan, dapat kelulusan dan jugak carik master tape sesuatu lagu yang dah lama.
Too Much Water Live In Japan takkan masuk kat 5 disc collection ni pasal band dia gi masuk lagu Lou Reed kejap ke hapa kejap masa tengah main lagu. Lepas tu satu lagu apa Dreams tu? dorang tak bleh jumpa master tape atau apa2 high quality, dan ada pun yang versi kat movie mannequin, yang kalau pakai pun ntah sapa dorang nak mintak izin kot?

So masa melayari youtube tu kasi warm up, baru aku perasan video ni... Sapa host dia ni? Jay Leno. Tu lagi satu lelaki tu Howard Stern tu- hos radio, America got Talent pun dia jugak ye.
Belinda Carlisle buat persembahan lagu dahsyat "Lay Down Your Arms" secara akaustik gitu je.
Korang tengok la gitaris-gitaris perempuan dia pakai sapa..
- Bangles nye gitaris Vicki Peterson, suara power giler tu Vicki Peterson sebagai penyanyi latar jugak, korang try dengar suara kat ni video.
- Go-Gos nye gitaris Charlotte Caffey yang tukang tulis lagu ni mula2 untuk band dia lepas Go-Gos berpecah zaman dulu. Versi lagu ni tak rock sangat la kan dah kena togel kan, tapi tetap power.

Lepas lagu ni korang tengok apa Howard Stern buat kat dia. Gatal Miang Merenyam gitu Howard Stern ni eh.
Tu ah Jay Leno dah cakap sampai "harassment". Belinda cool je, cerita2 pasal keluarga dia semua.
Howard Stern lepas tu berbual apa2 sey kutuk2 lagik. Dekni ni kira dari dulu memang kontroversi lawak la dekni. Kelakar siak dorang perli2 satu sama lain.

Bak kata Belinda Carlise "Lay Down Your Arms, we're in love, we're at war, but we can be on the same side". Mari kita tujukan lagu tu kat....OK OK aku stop....mampos aku kena kutuk lagik kang. Tapi tak paham la kan sapa betul sapa tak kalau dua2 sama je aku tengok.....
Ntah2 dua2 tak betul, mengong!! Macam aku pernah cakap, aku dah tak boleh nak tertengok dah video2 kat sana. Amboi...guna henpon rakam kawan dan lawan kena macam2, peluru tembus segala anggota tubuh badan macam2 tempat...tu belum kena siksa la...apa la...

3) okay....bulan tiga ni Rolling Stones gathers no moss main kat Singapura. Aku tak dengar lagu2 Rolling Stone ni secara menyeluruh , aku tahu dorang dan experiment dengar lagu dorang pun pasal band2 rock lain main lagu2 dorang cam Paint It Black - Deep Purple, Sympathy For The Devil GNR gitu, cam Angie tu semua tu la, tapi aku kagum ngan kumpulan ni dah berzaman tapi tetap "maintain". Apa dorang makan???
Dulu aku suka gi HMV ke hapa ke, pegang2 boxset2 dorang, giler ah packaging dan presentation boxset2 dorang. Terbaik.
OK ni apa aku tahu pasal tiket penjualan dorang main akan kat Marina Bay Sands ok...
Mula2 harga tiket antara - S$200-S$700.
ok, ni Rolling Stones, main pulak kat tempat gitu, masih masuk akal la kan?

Laporan cakap hari dorang start jual tiket, bukak je Sistic kul 10 pagi, orang yang terus cuba telepon, dapat tembus talian bercakap ngan staff Sistic, lepas tiga kali cuba, cuma dapat beli tiket yang harga bawah, harga mahal semua dah habis. Berapa cepat tu??
Apa aku tahu sekarang harga tiket jual-balik resell market kat Singapore untuk show Rolling Stones ni dah sampai S$1700 satu tiket. Tukar RM x 2.6 = 4420RM. Bapak mahal, tapi ni semua "passion" masing2 ye tak, kalau dah minat.Tapi rasanya ni depan la, boleh tengok dekat2 bibir sapa tu penyanyi dorang? Mike Jagger? haha.... Bibir tebal.

4) Aku kembali cuba dengar Slang.

Rasa cam gitu lak aku rasa bila aku dengar Slang lagi sekali. OK tak dinafikan memang first time dengar ada lagu yang terus aku melekat cam All I Want Is Everything misalnya tapi tu semua style Def Leppard yang aku tahu, tapi Slang memang kelaut sangat.

Ni Slang ni sebijik macammana masa Iron Maiden keluar X-Factor dulu. Zaman ahli2 kumpulan punyai masalah peribadi dan apa2 je la dan lagu2 pun keluar jadi lain sikit...
Ni Slang zaman drummer Def Leppard pukul bini dia ia? mabuk ke?. Hilang segala rasa hormat aku sey orang2 lelaki pukul2 pompuan ni. Cam sial ok. Kat dunia berlagak kuat la kan pukul2 orang pompuan cam samseng, mampos nanti, berani ko nak pukul malaikat?

ok ok back to Slang Def Leppard ni, atau tetiba sekarang aku dengar aku cam menjiwai gitu, sebijik2 lagu, mungkin penerimaan aku semakin lebih kat beberapa lagu lain kat Slang ialah kerana aku mungkin dah matang??, cehhhhhh....jadi aku boleh terima lagu2 kat album Def Leppard Slang ni?
Mungkin??... cehhh Ella sey, "ku berjalan...seorang diri...memakai pakaian yang ku gemari...oooooooo...Mungkin!!"
Jadi aku mungkin nak tangkap sekeping deluxe edition Slang ni walau aku ada special edition masa keluar dulu, Rasanya aku pernah blog kasi pendapat ulasan aku pasal double album ni yang ada cd kedua kat dalam tu ada rakaman Def Leppard main kat Hard Rock Cafe Singapura.

5) Errr...kalau cam gini cam mana ni??
Salah kot satelit dia haha.....
Terkejut siak aku.....naughty... Naughty! Naughty!! Naughty!!!!!

Satu kelmarin, satu semalam...haha.. Aku terperasan, terus tangkap gambo haha.

Aku rasa mungkin nak google pasal Hell ke, pasal Destruction hari kiamat ke?

Errr...boleh ke aku gurau2 benda gini??? Ohhhh noo...........

ok dah.....aku kalao start merapek...tak boleh stop.

p.s

Sofia Bulgaria is out..  out of place sangat, dan tak konfiden aku gi tempat ni...

tapi Belgrade just announced...... tengok cam selamat je apa aku nilai secara rambang.

Goodbye Just Go and 12 inch by 12 inch Coffee Table Book with 5 disc inclusive latest Live In Japan etc etc etc etc - Belinda Carlisle

Dear all,

I want to blog about Belinda Carlisle. Hellfest day-dream and research can wait.

Its been Seven years since a new album (in French!?!?!)
Even worse, many, many, many years since an English language album..

So its happiness when she records one new song even!

GOODBYE JUST GO.
You can listen to it here-
https://soundcloud.com/demonmusicgroup/goodbye-just-go

(click play on that top left hand corner icon.)

...she still got that awesome delivery and studio VOICE (because its all about going to YOUTUBES to check out her live performances world-wide recorded by her fans), though I got problems understanding clearly what's she's exactly singing on some lines. I got to get the lyrics somewhere.

If you let the above webpage as it is after the ending of this new song, it will continue to some songs from her unreleased "Live In Japan" recordings that is going to appear on her 5 disc Coffee Table Book -sized collection (includes Too Much Water!!, and check out her guitarist intro on Circle In The Sand),
and then some songs from her live cd & dvd "Live In Metropolis Studio" released last year.

Actually, besides the five disc Anthology, she will come out with the "Collection" release but I doubt its attractive being a simple best of and I will be pissed of because you cant narrow down her solo songs to a best 20. Its too difficult.

If you are early or something, the Anthology will come with a Belinda Carlisle tote bag, and her signature or something...

SO SHOULD I CARRY THAT BAG TO WORK??

I THINK I WILL CARRY THAT BAG TO HELLFEST!!!

Going to those Altar and Temple Stages with all the death and black metal bands playing..NOW THAT WOULD BE AWESOME because everyone knows Belinda Carlisle Rules!!

Must remember not to stain it with the "kambing" sheep heads  during Gorgoroth set hahahaha. I just have got to see that gimmick live. I hope they do have it at Hellfest, and I hope to make it. Fascinating youtube viewing that one.

Thanks and regards.

REAL deluxe remastered triple disc edition - belinda carlisle

Gambo makanan kasi berenti kejap
Continuing the Belinda Carlisle avalanche that hits me these few months with her live show, plus the  excellent deluxe edition releases of four of her solo albums, and her live dvd and cd Live from Metropolis.

This is her solo album number five called 'real', originally released late 1993, the deluxe edition triple disc release contains these

- remastered original album,

- single edit versions,

- some mixes,

- the fantastic DEMOS (though her original demo of the song Falling Into You before Celine Dion sung that song and make it famous is still unreleased or maybe lost forever )

- some tracks which turned up on her compilation and best of albums,

- and also some live songs.

The third disc is a dvd, with her latest interviews regarding this album, and also the promo videos of songs from this album.

- 'real' is raw, back to basic album which reminds me of Iron Maiden similarly going back to basics with No Prayer For The Dying album and tour in 1990,

- 'real' is also maybe the most rocking and heartfelt album among Belinda Carlisle's solo releases.

- She sounds fantastic as usual and the music is awesome as usual by whoever the musicians she used...

- Belinda co-wrote  six of ten songs on the orignal album, and co-produced some of them with fellow The Go-Go's Charlotte Caffey.

- Belinda's image is also simple for the cover and inlets of this album.

- All the songs are very good and depending on my mood, any of these ten songs could be my favourite.

- A memorable album that includes the drums intro ladden Goodbye Day, to  the infectious "we know history" hook in Big Scary Animal to the re-make of The Graces (Charlotte's band) Lay Down Your Arms, the slow Here Comes My Baby, the chorus of Too Much Water, and great songs like Where Love Hides, One With You, Wrap My Arms and Tell Me.

disc one includes all the above plus some single edits and also the Dyme Brothers mixes are included.

next, disc two

- awesome as it contains six of Belinda's demos and this includes Whatcha Doing To Me, Dont Cry and Change. The latter two songs are very nice.

- plus the bonus tracks that appears on one of her greatest hits releases, Feel Like I've Known You Forever, the wonderful A Prayer For Everyone which contains the lines "Every man deserves a chance To bring home a decent pay" - straightforward inspirational words, and also All God's Children. Plus three live version songs of I Feel Weak, Circle In The Sand, and Heaven Is  A Place On Earth.

now, the 3rd disc. the dvd. - a 20 minutes interview with Belinda regarding 'real', the making of, and that era.

Plus the music videos. The video of Lay Down Your Arms is simply fabulous with that Western silent movie/spaghetti theme.Remember it was made in 1993. I was basically waiting for the Red Indians from the Maiden's "Run To The Hills "video to make a cameo.

'real' deluxe edition is a very good one for me.
