Sapa2 baca blog ni tahu la aku suka sangat kat Powerwolf. Jugak aku nasib baik Hellfest 2014 Powerwolf pun beraksi, so aku dapat tengok dorang buat persembahan. Sesuatu aku sangat gembira dan ambik gambar banyak2, dah macam Groupie pun ada...
Ni band sangat mengujakan bila main live pada aku dan lagu2 dorang memang entertaining giler. Pada aku la haha.

Boleh rasa lah, tahun demi tahun, Powerwolf makin build up audience dorang satu Eropah kalau baca pendapat2 peminat kat sana.

OK sambil cakap pasal Rock Jerman ni, lagi satu band rock Jerman yang tak asing lagik - Helloween.
Helloween dah confirm dates kat Australia. So harap dorang datang balik main sini untuk fans Singapore/Malaysia. Dah lama sangat sejak Gambling With The Devil nye tour.
Aku tak bedek, last tour aku macam rasa rugi, kalau korang dengar bootlegs tour Straight Out Of Hell memang dahsyat. Aku rasa dorang selain Jepun dorang main Taiwan kan (ada satu pro-shot opening songs ke hapa tu dari Taiwan, giler best quality dia) dan Indon pun kan?

""SWEATING LIKE A PIG!!"" (BERPELUH MACAM BABI!!!) - ni ayat aku tak boleh lupa la Andi Deris cakap dari atas stage. Lawak betul.. ye la mau kena cuaca sini... Tapi Sascha smart giler la eh atas pentas walau Andi Deris dah tak tahan cuaca panas padahal malam.... Aku suka dekni si Sacha ni.. Weikath very act cool la kan always ngan rokok dia...Grobskoff memang giler haha.

Ni album bukan yang paling best pada aku, tapi tetap gerek la jugak... Tapi tak sehebat contoh Bible Of The Beast.  Aku recommend la Bible Of The Beast sapa first time dengar Powerwolf.

TETAPI ISTIMEWA ialah CD kedua kat album ni dimana lagu2 dimainkan secara SYMPHONY memang sangat hebat, majestic dan menyentuh sanubari.. Cehhhh...

Tapi macam biasa, ni band lirik2 dorang sangat2  ""Tak Senonoh"", tapi seronok dan tersenyum dengar...tapi kurang ajar gitu haha...

Offensive la lirik2 mereka untuk sesetengah orang, dan jugak bahagian lirik2 LATIN, memang betul semua LATIN tu semua, tapi apa aku tahu vokalis dia hentam kromo je perkataan LATIN tu dan tak menghasilkan ayat yang betul.. kira nak sedapkan je la..
ni apa aku tahu, again kalau salah sorry...

Vokalis dorang orang Romania yang Classical Opera-trained dan tahu pasal Latin la kira.. tu istimewa nye Powerwolf. Dan artwork dorang semua Michael Greywolf (salah satu guitarist dorang )yang lukis.
Album terbaru dorang belum keluar tapi kulit album dah keluar lawa aku suka...aku rasa album keenam dorang mesti terbaik la, aku rasa je....Bulan 7 keluar.

ANTHEMS 2000-2011 : Anthem. (triple disc limited edition version)

Dari tulis pasal burung Caribbean Pink Flamingos ke China Giant Panda ke Jepun punye Anthem.

As usual it will be a dual ramble in both Malay language and English.

Firstly my still UNHAPPINESS -yes I know its been like two years since Eizo Sakamoto leaving the band (AGAIN!!!!!!!),
and then after that, onwards to my opinion and not so review about this latest release.


THIS IS JUST RELEASED A FEW DAYS AGO IN JAPAN!!!...
and I got it so quickly... Thank you Postal Staffs. For Me About To Japanese Rock, I Salute You!

Aku masih tetap sampai sekarang fikir aku lagi suka Eizo Sakamoto jadi penyanyi Anthem dari Yukio Morikawa.
Mereka berdua ni macam main musical chair gitu, Eizo zaman dulu keluar, Yukio masuk, lepas tu bila reunion balik Eizo ganti Graham Bonnet lepas tu sekarang Eizo keluar Anthem lagi.. Yukio masuk balik..

Jadi sekarang Eizo dah nyanyi 12 album studio kot untuk Anthem.
Yukio dah nyanyi 5 album...

Aku lagi suka suara Eizo.

Tapi takpe... Anthem kepala dan tukang tulis lagu ialah Naoto Shibata - bassist dorang, dan janji gitaris dorang Akio Shimizu tetap maintain.
Drummer dorang si Homma tu dah keluar, Anthem dah pakai drummer baru, muda. 

Drummer lama kemalangan jalanraya, apa yang last aku tahu.

Cehhhh macam tahu2 je eh aku ni... Kalau salah sorry la.. Aku agak2 je. HAHA

Getting news and of course information on releases from Anthem is very difficult as I have no idea of Japanese language, information or relevant websites on the internet.

But when I do get my hands on them... Its all worth it.
So this is a new best of / compilation of Anthem from their Victor record company years.
So basically Anthem music label/record company releases are
1985- 1992 Lexus
2000- 2011 Victor
2012- present Universal Music. - (I think this begins with Live Unbroken blue ray/dvd disc.)

I understand Lexus have remastered from the original analog tapes of the 8 studio albums from 1985 to 1992 and will be releasing them on a boxset soon.

So this release is the Limited Edition 3 disc version of Anthems 2000-2011.
The first two are cds
The third disc is a DVD.

So on disc one and two.. total of 28 songs.
3 songs from the year 2000, the reunion album of  Heavy Metal Anthem whereby Anthem got RAINBOW's Graham Bonnet to sing for them, basically older Anthem songs with English lyrics.

4 songs each from the SIX albums that follows with Eizo Sakamoto joining back in 2001. Seven Hills, Overload, Eternal Warrior, Immortal, the personally I really love Black Empire and lastly Heraldic Device from 2011.

The extra song is ""Undefined Things"" - an instrumental during Eternal Warrior album recordings that was never released.

Walk Through the Night is included.. LOL!!!!!!

Best love song ever - "I love your innocence... I love your smile"", and that is only the English parts, how I wish I understand the rest of the Japanese lyrics...

NOW COME TO THE STRESSFUL PART!!!

On the DVD (the 3rd disc),

Besides the music videos, THERE IS also a ONE HOUR interview with Naoto Shibata on the albums that Anthem released during the Victor record label years.

ONE HOUR!!! what looks like an interesting and informative interview and I bloody dont understand it, and there is no subtitle.

What the #&^@!!! I am so disappointed.. but nevermind...

lastly on the dvd, there is a live video of Anthem during the Graham Bonnet years live.
Recorded sometime in 2000, I think I had reviewed a bootleg of Graham Bonnet show with Anthem in the past in this blog.
Its just one camera angle taken from the back, the quality is maybe from an old video tape.
But the Historic importance LOL!!!....
The song Love In Vain and Hungry Soul.

OK thats about it.....  More Anthem is coming....stay tuned. LOL!!!

WORSE, EVEN WHEN FANS UPLOAD ANTHEM SONGS INTO YOUTUBE, YOU GOT COPYRIGHT CLAIMS AND THE SONGS BECOME MUTE.

AND THAT IS A SHAME...  BECAUSE I BELIEVE THOSE WHO REALISED HOW GOOD ANTHEM IS, WILL SLOWLY TRY TO GET THEIR HANDS ON ANTHEM ORIGINAL RELEASES.

River Safari - Caribbean Flamingos & Giant Pandas & tiger fish (pt i)

Salam semua...

Its my first time at the Singapore River Safari. basically the 3rd zoo , each with their own themes and specialities in Singapore with all situated in the same Mandai area. (THEY SHARE THE SAME PUBLIC BUS STOP!! lol!!)

As I had always love zoos, animal attractions and sanctuaries, I personally don't have any negative thing to say.

In summary, my personal opinion about these THREE zoos are:

- River Safari is a very very nice fantastic place and its windy LOL!!, 

- Night Safari is and always a simply spectacular awesome place due to its uniqueness and one of a kind place.. 

- but its still good old Mandai Zoo (the traditional daytime zoo) that will always be the very best for me. You basically can just sit down and stare and admire at your favourite animals from 8am to 6pm.

If you love nature, love animals, and you are in Singapore, I think you need minimum of two days to saviour all these three places, fair enough as Night Safari only opens when the sun sets.

So enjoy the photos, I will write some things that I had opinion or think its useful for me to share... next time..

Aku pun tak tahu ni burung2 flamingo ni dorang angkut dari Mandai Zoo nye enclosure atau ni baru nye sampai... 

Jadi... burung2 Caribbean Flamingo ni korang boleh nampak masa naik "sampan" nye pengangkutan tu kat satu "sungei"di River Safari...

Masuk bahagian ni, paling senang beli tiket bundle ngan River Safari nye naik boat..

Adults $8 dan Children $5.

Tapi take note ni tak termasuk bayaran masuk River Safari... dan dah termasuk enclosure Panda.. ada Giant Panda dan Red Panda yang sangat cute gitu Red Panda..

Tengok gambar bawah ni, korang naik serupa sampan mechanical gitu, kat saluran air dia gitu...

Jangan takut tak basah.. Ada la terhempas2 sikit sampan tu turun naik, tapi percikan air tak kasi korang basah pun...

OK la best la bahagian ni tapi korang kena laju carik binatang...ada broadcast la "to the left is...", "to the right is.... ""

tapi bukan nye binatang2 haiwan2 ni diri posing untuk korang, korang kena laju carik... dorang kat atas pokok la, sembunyik la, dalam semak la...

ni aku cakap ni yang amazon cruise ni la...

Sapa nak ambik gambar, ambik foto, hah...lagi kelamkabut la korang...

Nanti la yang lain aku cerita lain kali k...

Tengok ni Pink Flamingos... Cantik ok.

Kita settle kan Giant Panda dulu, seperti zoo Kuala Lumpur, ada dua Panda.... melayu panggil apa eh? Panda Gergasi kot? Panda hitam putih? Panda tak cukup tidur? haha.

Untuk Singapura punye, dorang split enclosure jadi dua untuk si dua ekor ni la nama dorang Kai Kai dan Jia Jia tak silap aku...

tapi dia back to back gitu, atau sebelah2, jadi bila bukak pintu je atau ruang je, dah kira dorang dah terus bersatu gitu.....

early night with Marina Bay... and.... late night with David Letterman/Live on Letterman

Night, Malam.

Ni post huru hara, gambar makan stop kejap, rock2 nanti la pasal aku akan Avalanche banyak2 pasal rock ni semua next few postings LOL!!...
Lama tak ambik gambar malam/lampu ngan handphone.. Syok sendiri ok bila sesekali dapat snap walaupun bila tengok balik, foto banyak ke laut kualiti dia. 
Dan jugak aku nak tulis tribute aku sendiri kenapa aku rasa sedih jugak Late Night David Letterman dikhabarkan dah tamat siaran...
Dan jugak salah satu persembahan terbaik kat show2 David Letterman.. dari band yang pada aku paling "Hitam" la aku minat dan tahu dari aku sekolah sampai sekarang dah lama dah.

Late Night with David Letterman..

Its run is over after about 30 years or something?

There was a time, I used to stay up late to catch this programme, not exactly for the chats, the interviews, the Jokes - I NEVER ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND HIS NIGHTLY TOP TENS. I used to wish I have a better understanding of (American) English and (American) Humour so I can laugh along....

I used to watch David Letterman because on basically every show, he will have a guest artiste/singer/band who will play live in his show.
This was the chance for me to explore new music, to check out new bands/artiste that I may like...

Of course there are masters and monsters of music along the way....

Even when I don't have time to catch this show anymore, I try to follow up on the bands/artiste that plays on his programme...

Then there is a programme called "Live On Letterman" which is kind of an extension of the live performances on the same recording place of "Late Night With David Letterman", though this is performance of much more songs which is not necessarily appeared on the "Late Night...." show.

This is maybe one of my all time favourites performance from a Live On Letterman...

Depeche Mode - they did a selection of songs on this show about two years ago about the same time Delta Machine is released.

This is Depeche Mode doing Enjoy The Silence... Their drummer is not being utilize in full as their own live shows LOL!!!



When I was younger, for me Depeche Mode was the most Wicked, the most EVIL, the most BLACK, the most Frightening band I had ever known...though when Paradise Lost did Electronics which possibly could be they are fans of DM too, its simply astounding.
Paradise Lost was then basically even more DM than DM themselves...


Up to now, I still think no other band can touch Depeche Mode when it comes to being ""DARK"".

I hope to get an original copy of Live In Berlin... not so important but I want to have an original copy, especially as I enjoy Delta Machine album... I had reviewed or basically give my own opinion of it somewhere in this blog...
TWO YEARS AGO somewhere...

This is the same performance from the same tour from the Live In Berlin DVD, but of course with their Drummer having an extended run on Enjoy The Silence..'

and the impossibly body position of performers on the big screen. CONTORTED as it possibly can.. With just their facial features and eyes moving...

They only free themselves at the climax of this song..

Depeche Mode are simply Masters even after so many years.

Maiden United..HARI INI release, aku dah pre-order ok, ngan TSHIRT!! haha..aku suka Maiden United la, lagi?., Savatage Ultimate.. macam2 lagi la kan... Ohh Cover band Iron Maidenss aku rasa aku nak gi la... haha... XPDC aku dapat pegi, but Wings I wanna try to go...
Anyway ada tribute baru untuk Ronnie James Dio dari label Jerman kot? yang band2 obscure tapi aku suka pilihan2 lagu band2 tersebut. "I could have been a dreamer".... woohooo...

kan aku dah cerita tampal gambar lagi, TBS nye KK Mart, kul 6.30 Pagi dah ada nasik briyani panas2...  tak la paling sedap dalam dunia, tapi ayam dia portion banyak.. dan since lapar atau nak isi perut so dalam bas ekpress terus tidur memang sesuai la kan...

Contoh tahun lepas raya kedua ke raya ketiga? dah lupa.. Barcelona...

Aku suka tengok bola kat Bukit Jalil, pasal LRT selalu dorang akan arrange kalau game abis lambat ada train LRT masih in service...
Tapi this Weekend final Lion XII lawan Kelantan, tak gi la..
Aku pernah dulu baca, dengar cerita, all those legendary Kapak Siam stories when predecessors of both these teams meet long long ago....... amazing scenes it must be zaman tu with all those Kapak Siam...
