outrage - the final day cd review

 Hi. At long last I got a chance to talk about this cd. As usual first in my Bahasa Melayu Pasar, then my broken English.

As usual, I try to talk different things in both languages.  

Or else just view the pretty photos. This album has no mentioned of the band name or album name, except on the Obi Strip. That piece of paper with the band name is actually a sticker.

Kadang2 aku rasa band ni lagi Metallica dari Metallica. Band Jepun yang satu bagusnya band ni constant. Dari apa sikit2 aku boleh dapat update dari mereka melalui internet, dan jugak Twitter yang memang tak faham apa mereka borak semua tulis Jepun, kena translate. haha.

Jadi tahun 1991 dulu, keluar kaset Outrage THE FINAL DAY ni di pasaran, Dan memang hebat, ni serupa satu dalam sejuta tu, bila semua menjadi, dan melahirkan album, aku tak reti la nak panggil ni band Thrash ke hapa ke, tapi ni album memang best giler.. Start sampai abis. Kalau korang boleh dengar seluruh album dalam youtube ke hapa ke kalau ada yang tak pernah tahu kewujudan album ni.

Terutama waktu semua lagu keras, tiba-tiba masuk lagu River, mereka slow down kan giler giler suasana mendayung sampan pelan2 di sungei penuh emosi. Album ni sangat dramatik.

Lagu pertama My Final Day masuk hanya lepas minit pertama, terus masuk lagu kedua Madness. Dua2 lagu ni... oh my... 

Baru tu hari mereka rilis boxset 30 tahun album ni di Jepun. Buat masa ni aku kurang la pasal aku dah remix dia aku rasa cam tak serasi ngan telinga aku yang dah otak jam dengar album ni dan versi seluruh live (Outrage Awakening) rasanya 10 tahun dahulu aku pernah blog kot? haha. Entah kat mana dah cd tu.

WHEN ALL PLANETS IS ALIGNED, then was created great music thru out all album.

Japanese OUTRAGE has done that with THE FINAL DAY from 1991. A very nice cassette tapi that I make sure I got it in Japanese press with OBI too...

There was this boxset of 30th Years Anniversary of The Final Day. I got a bit turned off from the first remix by their original producer of the album back in 1990. And I am wondering if the 2nd cd is the orchestra playing on top of the original album? and the DVD ? well .. I dont exactly have time to watch videos, and I have that specific live recording already from OUTRAGE AWAKENING 2cd live where they played Final Day in full many years ago.

So this album was recorded in Germany then, in the famous Dierks named studio.

If you have not listened to this album in full, please do so. Its a roller coaster ride, with suddenly it completely slows down to a drifting slow moving river snail pace. Delicious!!

I sometimes wish Metallica could have gone this direction after they have INDULGED on their Black album. 

And Outrage, they could have gone the Metallica way, but on different albums they try different things. Some I enjoy, some I do not understand.

 But, The Final Day will always be remembered fondly. I dont think anyone can ever say any bad thing about this 1991 album.

KK's Priest - sermons of the sinner cd review

 Salam and a very happy morning/evening Judas Priest style Heavy Metal to you. As usual first in Bahasa Melayu Pasar, then in my Broken English.

Sapa merindui Judas Priest main heavy metal laju2, gitar solo keluar kat speaker atau headphones kiri lepas tu kanan, lepas tu kanan, lepas tu kiri, lepas tu melodi gitar sama sama dua dua keluar sound, lepas nyanyi balik, lepas tu drum dan bass semua best... pekik pekik suara sedap merdu high pitch...

ni la album nya... Semua lagu KK Downing tulis, beliau jugak producer.  Pemain Bass , mixer dan engineer ni album Tony Newton tu ialah orang sama tolong Iron Maiden producing dan remaster album album lama. Jugak bassist Voodoo Six. Band paling boring aku pernah tengok jadi opening band untuk Iron Maiden, tapi tak boo la... ye la band kroni Steve Harris. haha.

OK.. 10 lagu dalam album KK's Priest Sermon of the Sinner ni.  Lagu pertama sebenarnya intro je bunyik angin ngan suara gore kejap je. Lain 9 is lagu rancak2, time changes tukar tukar, dan gitar solo guitar solo yang memang best dan giler2 la untuk telinga aku 

Lagu2 semua best.. ada best ada best giler. Takde kecewa langsung la... 

Aku dengar kat rumah pakai speaker ok, tapi bila aku jalan kaki , dalam bas, dalam train , dengar guna HEADPHONE!!   Giler ah sound dia !!! guitar lari2 kiri kanan, kiri kanan, lepas tu masuk part melodic nanti dua dua gitaris solo sama sama.

Akhir kata dua benda aku nak sebut.

KK DOWNING nye gitar akan keluar kat bahagian kiri headphone (macam Dave Murray)

dan beli ni album.. aku tak tipu... memeranjatkan untuk tua kertu cam KK Downing. Dia ialah Judas Priest. Judas Priest ialah dia.

Sama macam.... NORDIN IS SEARCH, SEARCH IS NORDIN.

" Are you ready for some Judas Priest Style Heavy Metal?? "

so listen to this. KK Downing delivers a thunderstorm tsunami of an album to be listened loud. His band with some big names, his songwriting and his production.

This album is made for maximum volume while outside walking in the outdoors and on public transportation.

This album makes me very happy. This album makes me feel young. Its Fast and Furious.

Great songs, great vocals by Ripper Owens, great drums and bass, I mean its Tony Newton the Iron Maiden related guy.

And definitely the GUITARS... ITS A LISTEN TO HEADPHONE HEAVEN DELIVERY!!

KK is of course on the LEFT CHANNEL. but theres enough crazy solos on both sides left and right and the occasional "melodic guitars together solos" moments.

BUY THIS , 9 full songs and I have no problem with every song, some of them are awaiting to be joined in for loud live singalong sessions, two of them beyond 8 minutes, and one introduction of words and winds and storms.

This will complement Senjutsu nicely as a 2021 nicer moments. LOL!!

Aku cuba ikuti perkembangan penyanyi dari Sweden bernama Daniel Heiman.

Aku minat dia jadi penyanyi tuk dua album Lost Horizon, dan satu album Heed.

Lepas tahun 2000 la ye, sebelum aku expose kat band Ghost dan Powerwolf aku rasa Lost Horizon adalah band aku akan " follow " selepas Iron Maiden bersara nanti. Tapi band ni ke laut. Tapi nasib ada Ghost dan Powerwolf la.

OK, so aku dapat tahu dia jadi penyanyi untuk album kedua untuk band negara Greece bernama Warrior Path ni. Warrior Path ni macam projek genius mereka nama Andreas Sinanoglou dan Bob Katsionis.

Jadi tak tahu apa nak cakap dah selain tunjuk packaging dan sikit latar belakang kenapa aku beli cd ni bila dilancarkan dulu. Aku beli kat website bandcamp band ni.

Korang dengar sendiri dan nilai. Untuk aku last song.. lagu penghabisan, bahagian penghabisan memang tak disangka... aku minat giler.

Actually review2 kat youtube tu dah boleh tahu la pendapat pendengar lain.

Cuma Daniel Heiman ni kurang sikit la " gimnastik vokal " dia tuk album ni. Lagi dia pekik giler2 lagi la aku minat macam dia ngan Lost Horizon yang sampai sekarang aku minat sangat. Lost Horizon ni kalau nak dengar satu dua lagu suara Daniel Heiman ni ialah contoh Highlander dan Pure.

So I was trying hard to check on Daniel Heiman participation in the music world. I think he is probably one of the best singers I ever heard. With Lost Horizon, that " Highlander " song will always be remembered for how his voice propel that song to an Epic Proportion.

I always think LOST HORIZON second album is so magical. And a HEED song lyrics decorates my page of this blog.

So anyway this Swedish singer combined with this Greece band for their second album. 

An album that I need a few listen and I realise how good it was as it build up and build up until the last moments of the last song." LAST TALE ".

The music is nice, a thriller thru out the whole album. This album should at least be given a chance by music lovers everywhere. 

So the full album is uploaded when the album was first released immediately on Youtube. Do support this band still.

The best reference I can give is the REVIEWS by listeners all over the world on the youtube upload of this album itself. Link is right on top.

this is how i celebrate Metallica Black Deluxe 30 years

Good Day !!

First as usual in my Bahasa Melayu Pasar and then in my broken English.

Seronok tengok sahabat2 tunjuk mereka nye Metallica Deluxe Black Album 30 Tahun yang versi 3cd tu kat wassap. Aku takde, aku kureng sikit Black Album ni, rasanya aku tak pernah memiliki cd studio nye pun, apa aku masih ingat dalam otak aku bila beli kaset tahun 1991 tu la dia...

Tapi tidak disangkal Metallica secara live aku paling minat zaman Black Album 1991-1994 gitu. Dengan Jason Newstead hebat sungguh, MENERAJUI BAND,  dari apa segi sekalipun, Dengan dia menyumbangkan suaranya sebagai " Backing Vocals " terhebat untuk aku, dan jugak vokals utama.

Aku suka Jason. Hahaha.

WALAUBAGAIMANA PUN 30 Tahun ni... Aku pun nak raikan jugak... So ni caranya aku rai.

Aku masuk Itunes dan aku beli ni enam lagu dari dalam full boxset Black Album yang ada 11 cd tu.

Aku bayar, beli ni enam lagu. Aku rasa ni 6 lagu meliputi apa terbaik dari Deluxe Black Album yang ada 11cd, 4dvd, berapa keping LP, buku2, buku tebal buku tipis dan sebagainya.....

Aku memilikinya, kerana... kerana ni adalah album kegemaran aku dalam sejarah Metallica dan memang hebat sejarah dan rakaman2 live zaman tersebut.

ok balik kepada berbual pasal Black album deluxe ni kenapa aku beli ini 6 lagu aje. dan bukan apa2 bentuk fizikal.

1. Enter Sandman Freddie Mercury nye show Wembley Stadium. Aku memang suka persembahan ini, bunyik Metallica untuk persembahan ini - dan kat intro tu ada suara Brian May, Roger Taylor dan John Deacon perkenalkan band.

2. Nothing Else Matters Freddie Mercury nye tribute jugak - again, aku suka sound kat rakaman ini. So aku bayar la sekali. 

Ni semua aku beli kat itunes, lepas tu aku convert jadi mp3. Jadi aku boleh dengar pakai Walkman aku masa jalan kaki or dalam pengangkutan awam.

3. Nothing Else Matters (James Hetfield RIFF TAPE) - ni kira James Hetfield sorang2 main Nothing Else Matters waktu dalam proses pembikinan lagu ni. EMPAT MINIT BELIAU SYOK SENDIRI. Aku pun rasa syok sangat... So again, aku membeli " lagu " ini.

Dia ada nyanyi sikit, lepas tu dia masuk solo. Dah boleh nampak la lagu ni dah nak siap gitu...

4. My Friend of Misery (Jason Newstead RIFF TAPE) - Tak tipu... ini satu rakaman ni adalah bernilai paling beharga la pada aku dalam beratus lagu kat Deluxe Boxset ni.  Sebab tu aku beli "pembikinan lagu" ni. Aku sanggup bayar. haha.

Jason sorang2 main bass intro dan bahagian lain My Friend of Misery ni. kalau korang dengar live bass solo Jason zaman ni, adalah dalam ni segmen2 ni.

UNTUK AKU, INI ADALAH SATU LAGU BY ITSELF, lagu Instrumental solo Jason...

tapi takpelah. at least live beliau boleh solo jugak lagu ni.

5. Thru the Never (Oakland, California 1991 October ) kenapa aku beli lagu ni? Pasal aku nak lagu ni versi live dimainkan Jason dalam bentuk rasmi. Aku takde... aku nak bentuk " official " release la kira.

6. Of Wolf and Man (May 1993 Manheim Germany) - sama jugak, aku nak versi live rasmi DIMAINKAN JASON pasal aku takde dalam bentuk lagu rasmi rilisan Metallica.

Selain tu...  aku meraikan ngan mendengar kembali rakaman2 rasmi Metallica ada kena mengena ngan zaman Black Album ni..

Ni semua aku beli dari Livemetallica. Rasanya sumber2 ni semua ialah dari soundboard Metallica sendiri dan diproses oleh HQ mereka sebelum dijual kembali bentuk mp3, flac lossless dan jugak cetakan cd.

 Sangat hebat Jason dari bunyik nya dan suara dia, sangat hebat Metallica zaman ini. Dan ni zaman Nothing Else Matters belum dimainkan lagi. Lagu2 Black Album masih fresh. Band sungguh bertenaga.

22 track dalam rakaman ini. Best kesemuanya.... Waktu mereka mula2 nak jadi rockstar betul2 punya.

Keistimewaan rakaman ni, sangat senyap bunyik penonton padahal mereka main di event outdoors. Dan apa boleh diketahui dari rakaman ni James Hetfield sendiri cakap " you are fuckin crazy ", 

tapi bagusnya takde bunyik penonton, ialah... macam dengar Metallica main live dalam studio.

Korang bayangkan Harvester of Sorrow... SENYAP 16 SAAT masa kat tengah, pasal takde bunyi penonton. AKU SUKA GILER PERSEMBAHAN LAGU NI KAT RAKAMAN LIVE NI.

Metallica pun ada main Full Black Album ni secara live, dan rakaman2 rasmi nye pun ada dijual Metallica.

Tapi amaran - ni semua zaman Rob.

Istimewanya live kalau seluruh album dimainkan (tanpa Jason, zaman Rob Ketam dah), ada satu track extra... IAITU BLACK ALBUM INTRO.

patut ni intro diletak kot sebelum intro Enter Sandman untuk versi rilisan 30 tahun ni. haha.

Hi... Just a bit of Talk Cock to celebrate Metallica Black Album 30 Years version releases of different formats.

No... I didnt purchase any physical releases.

I just bought 6 songs off Itunes and convert it to Mp3 for my listening pleasure.

The Nothing else Matters (James Riff Tapes) and My Friend of Misery (JASON RIFF TAPES) are simple incredible recordings.

Its superb Metallica include those two for the hearing of people who listen to Metallica (selectively LOL !!!!!!).

Yes as can be seen above photos and whatever you can make out of it, 

I AM A BIG FAN OF METALLICA LIVE 1991-1994 when they are playing Live.

I am so thrilled and amused by Jason during this period.

Unfortunately, not all Black album songs are played by Metallica when Jason was around.

And when they really do play every song from it live, Jason is no more around.

Well..... Sad But True.

Anyway, if you havent seen the Deluxe version of ...And Justice For All.

Senjutsu Arrived - show off 2cd book format dan pendapat dan hujah aku

 Salam.

As usual first in my Bahasa Melayu Pasar, followed by in my Broken English

OK dah dapat semalam aku punye. 

Cantik... rasanya semua packaging pun cantik la apa2 format pun pilihkan korang.

OK nak nasik tambah atas apa aku tulis minggu lepas masa malam rilisan aku dengar pertama kali.

Pasal ni album sangat konsisten jadi aku akan pilih album ni lagi hebat dari album Book of Soul. Dan pasal aku tak suka band rock aku minat suka " sandarkan pada kenangan" suka harapkan kegemilangan masa lepas je... 

ULANG2 recycle dan sebut cerita lama... Ni untuk aku la, aku tak suka orang asyik puji retis pasal cerita lama, aku suka retis aku minat sentiasa buat terbaru yang hebat2... gitu....

Maka... Aku nobatkan Senjutsu ni album terbaik Iron Maiden untuk diri aku dalam sejarah 17 album studio.

Aku makin perasan Darkest Hour ni, cerita pasal kewiwabaan dan kepimpinan dan kesabaran Winston Churchill ni, makin hebat. Macam aku cakap kat post lepas, lagu ni kalau main live... Semua mata akan fokus kat Adrian Smith, pasal tentunya beliau akan buat MAGIC untuk permainan gitarnya bagi lagu ni bila main live.

Selain itu takde beza, lagu paling Lost In A Lost World, lagunya, seluruh lagunya dan lirik nya menyentuh perasaan aku habis2an.

OK POLL atas tu, aku sangat teruja tunjuk betapa "diversify" dan betapa "luas" cara album Senjutsu ni memikat hati...

Bukan nak cakap semua lagu paling hebat ke apa ke, tapi bayangkan 200++ pendengar Iron Maiden di fanclub boleh buat pilihan yang sangat ketara perbezaan nye. Kecuali lagu Hell On Earth, yang ada jurang sikit, Tapi lagu2 lain pun dekat2 dan sama rata. Dan kalau tengok lagu paling atas pun takdelah jauh sangat ke depan.

Jadi inilah contoh aku cakap kenapa Konsisten giler album ni. Pendapat aku je lah.

OK yang merah tu ialah pilihan2 aku.  OK Bye.

Last aku nak cakap, aku tak terkejut ni album 82 minit akan dimainkan penuh live. Ataupun mungkin 7 lagu dari 10.

OK got my 2cd Book Version. The packaging is beyond asesome. The Credits and Thank You List is 4 pages. LOL!!

Like I say above, Lost In Lost World is still my favourite song but I slowly realised how amazing Darkest Hour still is. This song will be spectacular live once Adrian Smith improvised all his guitar parts.

The Polls that I shared, is I steal and copied from the fc. I just want to show the diversity in taste of voters. Except the runaway Hell On Earth, the rest is fairly balanced, And in fact the top song is not even getting that much polls.

So for me, I will interpret it as this album is so consistent that 200+ Maiden listeners is attracted to so much diversity.

Thats it.. I hope the whole album will be played live, and I really hope we can travel again safely and cheaply... I got to be there for some Senjutsu World Tour shows. HAHA.
