Macam aku cakap, bila album ni keluar, aku tak baca review2 ulasan2 kat mana2, aku cuma tanya Portdy. Pendapat dia cammana? Dari situ aku start dengar sample sikit kat tenet sebelum beli.
Mass media ni, tulisan2 carik makan dalam apa bentuk cetakan atau edaran,
aku kurang percaya kalau benda tu aku dah suka.

So, apa aku buat? aku tanya mereka atau masuk website2 yang yang memang pendapat peminat. Peminat setia, peminat yang sanggup ikat perut keluar duit beli yang asli apa mereka suka, susah2 beli dan dengar atau gi tengok Bon Jovi main.

So, pendapat aku..
ni album ialah terang2 album terbaik Bon Jovi sejak album Keep The Faith.
Dan pasal aku paling suka album Keep The Faith..

Besar kemungkinan ni ialah album terbaik Bon Jovi pada aku. MUNGKIN.

Semua lagu gerek dan tersangat gerek, susah nak cakap ayat ni, tapi gitulah kenyataan nye.
Baik lagu rancak, baik lagu perlahan, baik lagu cinta, atau bukan lagu cinta...

dan kepala Bon Jovi ni, iaitu Jon Bon Jovi aku rasa sedar diri dia dah tua. 
Banyak jugak lagu dalam album ni ialah pasal kehidupan dan pasal peredaran masa.

Mungkin sebab tu aku boleh terima album ni dan semua lagu nya. Pasal memang macam sial kan kalau asyik ingat lagu muda dan main giler je kan tonggang terbalik.
Kena slow down sikit.

Kalau korang perasan, album ni asal nya 12 lagu tapi campur 5 lagu bonus, dan heran nya lagu2 bonus lagi sama best giler malah lebih best.
Dan aku tangkap pressing cetakan Jepun cd ni ialah kerana lagu tambahan Touch Of Grey.

Lagu ni ingatkan aku kat Uban kat Rambut. Itulah bila aku dengar lagu ni, hati aku cakap Touch Of Grey tu ialah uban kat rambut.

So sebagai peminat aku suka Jon Bon Jovi dan Dave Bryan dan Tico Torres dah sedar dorang dah makin berumur sangat.
Dan sebagai peminat aku suka Bon Jovi dah kembali lima orang secara rasmi dalam foto2 booklet kat cd dan jugak dalam senarai pemuzik kat dalam cd inlet tu.

Maknanya makin pintu untuk Ritchie Sambora kembali makin susah. 

Semua lagu gerek, tapi ada beberapa lagu yang memang outstanding.
Lagu ingatkan aku kat Chris Isaac - Labour Of Love.
Lagu2 slow lain pun gerek macam Real Live dan sebagainya.

dan semua lagu rancak pun gerek, dan ada memang gerek abis Roller Coaster semacam happy dan Goodnight New York contohnya, tapi All Hail The King, ialah satu lagu pasal satu sukarelawan kat dapur Bon Jovi yang masak dan kasi makanan kat mereka yang tinggal kat jalanan, orang susah, orang merempat, orang kebulur kat kawasan New Jersey.
Aku suka lagu All Hail The King ni, aku suka... Hail The King Whose Fortune is his Soul.
So sapa yang nurani dan jiwa dia yang kaya, tu la Kings sebenarnya.

Betapa tepat sekali lirik lagu ni ceritakan yang benar.

So, kalau korang minat Bon Jovi, ni ialah album terbaik. Kalau tak dapat cetakan Jepun pun pastikan ada sekurang2 nya 17 lagu kat cd yang korang nak beli tu.

Anyway, album Burning Bridges sebelum ni seumpana album untuk lepaskan dari ikatan Contract, dan ada lagu Bon Jovi main balik iaitu We Dont Run.
Aku rasa dorang suka sangat lagu ni kot.

OK, yang sebelah tu ialah album Live At Palladium London, ni rakaman live masa Bon Jovi buat parti mendengar album baru.
Tu jam, album ni belum dikeluarkan, dan bukan mereka mainkan playback album studio, tapi mereka main live 15 lagu.
Terbaik ok ni album live. So, dua2 album ni dahsyat.
Kalau yang live tu ada 7 orang tu ialah pasal live dorang pakai 2nd gitaris dan seorang percussionist sekarang.

OK dah tu je. Hingga berjumpa lagi. Photos dan sikit Anecdote kat paling bawah...

I was thinking Bon Jovi should come out with a great new studio album after all the turmoil and my own dissapoint at the last few albums.
Some songs are good but as albums, I feel a bit let down.

But this album is awesome, This House Is Not For Sale. The Japanese version has 18 songs and all of them are either good songs, great songs or AWESOME songs.

Even the Live Palladium London version is as good or maybe superior as Bon Jovi plays live is always fun and rocking.

I was just wondering, last few years when Bon Jovi plays Asia, or South East Asia region they seems to be going the motions with a setlist of about 2hrs or less.
And the ticket prices are astronomical and really a hindrance for their true fans.

I mean for other bands, this is forgiven but not for Bon Jovi. This is a party band that should be going and going.

This is the setlist for Birmingham (Villa Park Stadium) setlist for 9th June 2013)
and the tickets prices ere reasonable.

I mean, for 2017 Metallica in Singapore, the price for front section is about the same as FOUR TIMES watching Iron Maiden front standing for UK.
And Iron Maiden playing Home Ground Matches will never be the same like anywhere else.

A great backpacking memory, a nice warm up with fellow Bon Jovi fans before the all hell break loose "up front section standing" for some Maiden shows in Europe.

And I wish Aston Villa got promoted a.s.a.p. Amazing stadium and amazing environment surrounding the stadium.

The stage was like from one corner kick flag to the other side of the corner kick flag. LOL!!!!!

3 hours, 27 songs 
with the best Bon Jovi song ever Dry County somewhere in there.
People were crying during In These Arms, such a special song this one.
And I was joining the mass choreography participation of Raised Your Hands together with like 40,000 fans? or more.. LOL!!

Phil X was on lead guitars (Ritchie Sambora just start his I WANT MORE MONEY TANTRUM during that period), and I have no issue with Phil X playing that night though I think the whole stadium hearts is in their mouth during the guitar for Dry County. LOL!!!

The 2nd encore of Always was a vote by how thunderous the stadium reaction is when Jon was calling out slow songs titles.
Always was so much louder than I'll Be There For You during the vote..
The females seems to like Always.
LOL!!

Terus terang la, adakah korang yang minat bola, contoh minat team bola kelab2 pasukan2 dari negara2 Inggeris dan eropah,

adakah korang baca ke ulasan atau tulisan di suratkhabar tempatan?

Adakah penulis tu tengok ke tak tu game pun kita tak tahu ye tak?

Korang tentu lagi percaya cakap kawan2 korang atau ahli keluarga korang yang sama minat satu team, atau tengok youtube - FanTV dimana interviews dibuat dengan peminat2 yang baru keluar stadium.
Dorang kadang2 jawab memang berlainan betul dengan pendapat2 penulis2 yang dibayar gaji.



Sama dengan muzik atau kugiran yang memang aku minat, aku kureng sangat baca tulisan2 penulis yang memang kerja periuk nasik mereka tulis.

Aku lagi percaya kan pendapat peminat2 muzik, yang sanggup keluar duit beli album2 atau beli tiket konsert.

OK, maka best. Maka aku test dengar, pakai youtube beberapa lagu kat laptop pakai speaker Soundblaster. Terus beli.

Bon Jovi @Villa Park Birmingham 9 June 2013 review - my maiden europe 2013 day 1

Masa aku balik kerja tadi aku dengar balik bootleg aku rakam masa tengok Bon Jovi, so aku rasa aku lompat cerita pasal ni show dulu la...
Pertama sekali opening band petang tu ada dua, band nombor dua THE ENEMY best giler.
Aku tak suka sangat label genre2 gini pasal cam puaka kadang2 pasal macam aku selalu cakap muzik best boleh dapat kat mana2. Dari Kenny G ke Punk khianat. Kalo kita dah taksub satu genre tu, belum apa2 kita dah kondem muzik genre lain...siap kutuk2 peminat2 muzik genre berlainan tu, pada aku rugi la kan kita miss good muzik.
The Enemy ni band indie rock gitu katanya, Indie ke, Indian ke, Red Indian ke, lantak la, janji pada aku dorang The Enemy ni gerek abis masa aku tengok dorang main live.
Dorang start main, aku dengar sikit je terus aku keluar handphone rakam sikit. Aku ada taruk dalam youtube channel aku, hidup dorang live, 3 piece je. Terbaik. Dari sorang je crew dorang soundcek lepas 1st band main, dah memang mata melekat la tengok stage. Anticipation.

OK, masa aku gi backpacking ni, aku dah plan macam gini...
- Tengok Bon Jovi, aku nak enjoy, happy2 goyang2, singalong confirm kebanyakkan lagu aku akan boleh ingat balik liriks tak jadi hal, tapi since aku nak bootleg so aku singalong tapi tak tak keluar suara la haha.
- Tengok Maiden malam pertama kat Frankfurt aku nak Giler Babi "goes f^cking mental" sehadapan dan tengah yang boleh. Nasib baik aku tak cedera, nanti la aku cerita.
- Tengok Maiden malam kedua, aku nak diri belakang sikit, aku nak tengok Maiden main, aku nak tengok stage show dan semua special effect bunga api, pyro, stage lights dorang, dan aku nak DENGAR dorang sebijik2.
- Tengok Download Festival nye bands aku nak relaks2 dan absorb atmosphere.

- What is the attraction of Bon Jovi after all these years? about 30 years now this band is around?
- When I reach Villa Park, thousands and thousands, easily 35,000? or much much more? The pitch standing tickets are definitely full house, and the stands, are packed as well.
- People of all ages, of all walks of life I believe, the very young to the very old, all dressed differently, I see a guy wearing a fanclub tshirt of Iron Maiden haha.
- When Bon Jovi starts the whole place just erupt.
- I guess I am standing at the right place with the right people, at the start one guy was taking out his handphone to record and he was asked by one of the people around him to put it away.
Seems like JUST ENJOY THE BLOODY SHOW!!! fuckcare all the handphones and video recordings..and dont obstruct people who WANTS TO SEE THE SHOW ON STAGE WITH THEIR EYES.
- Everyone was like dancing and moving and singing along on the spot haha.
- The stage was like from one corner flag of Villa Park to the other corner flag...Its huge. The car stage really works to show sort of like travels, and with all the effects and lights and colour, its a sight to behold.
- Phil X seems I hear Jon Bon Jovi call him sounds like "felix" was the Ritchie Sambora's replacement. He starts his lead guitars and solos from 3rd song onwards. He is very alive onstage.
- The live 2nd guitarist that Bon Jovi always use is as usual low-profile but he solos on 1st two songs, and some other songs.
- Tico Torres and Dave Bryan is there and quite often appears on the jumbo screens.
- I dont how to describe song after song of wonderfulness and happiness haha.
Raise Your Hands! ooooooohhhh myyyyy.....
-  Ok some albums of Bon Jovi I dont really like, but nobodys perfect, and even one or two songs I dont care much for, the people around me were singing word by word haha.
- Keep The Faith ending has Dave Bryan and the two guitarists soloing in and out of each other.
- Bad Medicine was like...ok....15 minutes? haha.. and includes " I am not handsome like Justin Bieber (cue HAHAHAAHHAAHAHA!!!), I cannot dance like Justin Timberlake ( cue BOOOO!!!!!) haha.
- Amen. Most most unexpected song of the night, the two guitarists on accoustic.
- Encore starts with Dry County. Most emotional, roller coaster and deep song. Its a wonder November Rain was such a huge hit on the radio and all over the world, unfortunately Dry County, a similar long song aint,
but nevermind, I think most Bon Jovi fans rated this song highly, and around me even ladies are mouthing this song " Now the moneys gone, all the jobs are gone". I guess November Rain is a love song,while Dry County is a depressing song about life, and death and all the hardship in between.
- Livin On A Prayer we got the two versions, the first portion of the accoustic version and then the full original version, ooo I thought the ending chorus stops after two rounds, but Jon was urging the crowd to keep on singing so we got four rounds till band stops playing. I dont mind if it goes to 10, cause I like it haha.
- Jon was very kind, so Bon Jovi plays two more songs...Always is like a monster hit? I know this song is popular but I didnt know its like 'all goes crazy for the song' popular.
- Yaaaa!!! They play Blood On Blood. Jon should have change the lyrics that night to " and me, I'm just the singer in the world's favourite rock n roll band" haha.
- ok ok, I dont get to see them play Someday I'll Be Saturday Night haha. and of course Good Guys DOnt Always Wear White, the rest of the songs from Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, no Superman Tonight, NO SAVE THE WORLD??!! haha...no Undivided, no so many songs....
ok ok, I know its impossible but 27 songs and most of them are BLOCKBUSTER SONGS (AT LEAST TO ME)....3 hours...
Astounding.
- ok the merchandise stands do have some nice tour tshirts, but I was saving money for Iron Maiden "dated ones" ones, so I cannot buy even one haha. But I did bought the tour program. Maybe I'll take photos of it and paste it in this blog next time.

2. bila show start, nasib baik aku tak cedera pasal mat salleh JERMAN semua rempuh dan dorang tinggi jadi siku doranf ialah leher dan kepala aku. ni troublemakers hye gang ni tapi dorang tetap hardcore fans cuma terlampau kuat dorang rempuh. festhalle design dia pesyen dulu nue banguna panjang jadi standing je dah berapa? 10,000? kuat goler aki dah takut rusuk aku patah tau.
3. memang orang jerman suka giler kat maiden. cuma ada segolongan yang terover. nanti aku nak twngok youtube huru haea tu dan ramai jugak tak tahan kena angkat keluar dari barrier depan oleh security.
4. jadi aku dah rasa apa orang cakap pasal jerman fans, besok aku dah serik haha. nak belakang sikit. TAPI BEST TETAP BEST. dekat sey anggota maiden depan aku. sukaaaaa sangat walau dah macam tak tahu apa nak describe. unforgettable la.
5. Pyro PANASSSS giler. bahang kuat siak, aku tak bedek aku at last tahu apa orang cakap pasal pyro maiden pakai untuk europe tour ni, bahang macam kena panggang padahal dahjauh kan bukan satu dua tiga meter.

13. ada argentina, usa, canada, brazil, ada columbia pun. ada budak2 cina aku tengok, tqpi aku tanya lak dorang dari mana. rasa satu dunia la kot, ti aku tak join la doranf semua, nanti pergi minim semia, dah la buang masa baik aku gi jalan2 tengok museum.

Bon Jovi ticket arrived, Dave Murray's mistake and death of a football fan.

Ok, at last just yesterday I got my ticket to see Bon Jovi playing the Aston Villa stadium next week. Whether I really can go or not is another question.
But even if its all system go, I was thinking how on earth is it possible for me to make a trip using mysterious muliple trains from Heathrow to Birmingham in a very few hours, and I have never been there before, I will just hope for the best in not screwing up and ending up somewhere else, and I am really taking a big risk haha. But besides Maiden, there are not really much bands I would have make sacrifices for.
But I guess thats what backpacking is all about, making decisions on the spot, taking risks, giving myself serious stress level, yet having fun, learning and of course with some "choices of swear words and curses in both Malay and English" to accompany all the stupid mistakes haha..

Once I discovered Bon Jovi is playing UK football stadiums with their huge set at the same time, I know I got to change all my travel plans and even sacrifice at least a dozen good bands for Sunday's Download Festival.

There are some wonderful rock bands I would have want to see play live, from Little Caesar to Satyricon to Ghost to Amon Amarth to Newsted to Ramstein..
Ya ya I know in the world nowadays, people use all kind of labelling to distinguish each act, but I dont know how to label genres too much. Good music can be found anywhere.

One last thing...
I wonder if anyone knows of the Dave Murray situation on the first night of this current tour in Bilbao during The Prisoner guitar solos. His is second part right for this supercharge song? but he just stand forward of Adrian and happily starts his solo at Adrian's first part.
And Adrian was looking at him, and Janick was looking at him, and yes, no problem, easily covered by Dave. I really love it when Maiden make "human being" mistakes especially at the start of the first or second dates of a new tour, How can I forget ROTAM at Perth haha.
I think Dave must be still thinking of his new hairstyle.
This tour is really something with the guitar solos being improvised.... 
It is so exciting checking out all the youtube footages so far...

ok on a sad note, as per Berteromber's blog about the Johor DT football fan who fall backwards out of the stadium, I was really hoping he make it because at one time or another,
I may also be in the configuration as a football fan or a rock band fan, in a crowded place with a mission to support what I like. And in addition while at the football games to shout some curses to the referee and linesmen and booing the opposition haha.

Sadly he passed away. I am so sad, I pray his soul be with all the good people under Allah's blessing and protection always. Amin.

I was thinking, I am hoping to go to Donington Park next week, where two Maiden fans died in 1988, though it was earlier in the day during GNR before Maiden plays at night in front of 107,000 fans.
Again crowd jostling and shoving plays a part.
This was the show that had been my life time inspiration and dream to see Maiden play at the same place, and they are doing a History setlist and presentation based on that 1988 theme and era. I hope all goes well.

talk about maiden in bilbao few hrs ago & bon jovi (updated 28/5/2013 evening)

I didnt sleep last night, patiently waiting for the Bilbao Spain show to start, I guess possibly thousands of fans all over the world were monitoring all sources of news in the internet, waiting for whatever reports or updates trickling in from Bilbao.
But it was fun as a "silent reader" reading all the discussions and jokes in the Maiden forum as the night progresses in Bilbao, especially with all the false news and rumours being spread from "jokers" all around the world.

The wonders of internet age never fails to amaze.
Even as the show was progressing,
opening song Moonchild's video was already shared by a Brazil fan website, and Adrian Smith's solo is something else. I like it, and it keeps up with his Aces High solo on the first show of 2009 SBIT tour in Croatia was it? And also second show of FF tour in Singapore 2011 on the song Coming Home. 

Unfortunately, I think they play it safe (or lazy??) with the setlist, a setlist to please the masses and casual listeners.
No change from 2012, therefore a lot of the original Maiden England gems like Infinite Dreams, Still Life, even Killers will not be played maybe ever as time is really running out for Maiden's future I guess, especially as its only fair they play as many new songs as possible on the next studio album tour.

I really really like this fan's video from the Opening Night show. It got all the essence for me. The anticipation and excitment from the beginning of Doctor Doctor to the intro, the stage covers, the lightings and especially the movement of band. Brilliant!! and it will only get better after they improve the "CHOREOGRAPHY"  every night haha.
I cannot get my eyes of Adrian Smith (and Dave). 7:28 AHH!!!
I guess I know where I will try to squeeze my way thru to stand... (as always hahaha).
 

Moving on,
I do try to read up on fans reaction on the internet on the spat between Jon and Ritchie. I think its more serious than anyone thinks, and the losers are the fans, and they have such wide array of fans from all ages and taste.
For myself, I am worrying because I still havent get my ticket to see them, I mean the 3 left - TT, DB & JBJ. Now that would be a disaster. I guess the tickets are only mailed out in the last minute to reduce chances of reselling and touting.

Anyway I like this photo of them at Norway, I think this is Bergen. Seems like a nice place and what a stage haha. Ooo and I've been checking out their setlists for every show, and it kick ass, no matter what changes they made nightly. Most important seems they play Dry Country each night and it would really made me happy to see them play this song.

Moving further on..., with the possibility of me backpacking to catch Maiden in Europe next week is still on as of now, I did made some plans.
I dont know what to expect at Donington, Download Festival. I just hope all goes well and safe, and I do hope for no rain. That will be a damper especially for me as I am really going to Donington Park blind and alone, I will certainly be lost in a slippery muddy huge field of 80,000 or more? haha.

But I did a timetable based on the timings already released.
Seems this is a festival where you really have to choose what bands you want to see as all stages are clashing with each other.
I was looking forward to see Thunder, but they play around the same time as Motorhead, I find it funny two British bands clashing when I am there to more or less see British bands at their biggest most prestigious rock festival. (Note: when Maiden plays, the second stage is shut down, so maybe its for a dvd and to avoid any sound leakage? hopefully).
Anyway here it is, I made my choice, I guess there will be over a hundred bands on 5 stages on 3 days. But I will gamble on some of these unfamiliar bands, as I think I will have the best time watching them..

UP THE IRONS, no matter how sometimes I think they let down their fans, and no matter how I think sometimes how they and ,Steve Harris especially, made their choice of songs for Maiden England 2012/2013.

For me, still keeping to the Maiden England theme that we all are familiar, and still being as close as possible to their current selection which is a bit similar to SBIT tour, and ensuring enough pop hits played for the casual listeners,

p.p.s and if they bring Maiden England tour to South East Asia early 2014,
Malaysia & Singapore will have a 2nd encore of Alexander The Great, haha and it will be the best tourism advertisement for both countries ever in the eyes of the world, and best of all its free.

What About Now - BON JOVI \m/

Every new Bon Jovi album release is anticipated.
Either I will like the whole album or I will only like just a very few songs.

This new one is called What About Now.

- This digipak version has 16 songs, seems different packaging has a differnt number of songs.
- Nice packaging, no photos at all of the band.
- No lyric sheets, ok not a problem, I'll listen harder.
Bon Jovi always has cool lyrics whether its about life, love, happy, sad or social commentaries issues.

On first listen I was quite sceptical after reading some of their fanbase reviews,

but song after song, and I like them, Because We Can, I'm With You, What About Now, Pictures Of You, Amen etc etc etc etc  although the songs are quite mellow and there are no heavy hard rockers on this one.
Richie Sambora is still all around everywhere but I know fans wanted more of his solos on this album.
Like I say earlier, there are social commentaries in Bon Jovi songs, and its represented in this album for example 'Whats Left Of Me'.
Thick As Thieves? I was at first wondering what is that haha.

The negative part of this album for me is that
I dont really like it when listening to songs 14 & 15 - Not Running Anymore & Old Habi Die Hard, which really slows things down too much. Nice songs, but it just kills the momentum.

But things picked up on the final 16th song which is definitely a bonus track...

I think this is added on this digipak for the purpose of promoting his latest solo album, and I am not surprised if his latest solo album is more Bon Jovier than Bon Jovi themselves.
Maybe one of these days I'll check that solo album out.

Superman Tonight

I was just making some plans and calculations with hope that I can see Iron Maiden play a few dates in Europe this June.
I think UK and Germany will be very strict, so I guess I cannot explain that I am going to sleep at airports to save cost isnt it??

I was also thinking I got to make full use of this opportunity, althought its going to a short, tight super budget trip which involves a few flights and train trips.
I was searching around for dates by other bands or acts that I like, or at least I have interest in. Maybe its still early but I got to make some plans now, and searching around, I know I just miss out on Kiss and Depeche Mode, I know I can make it for one The Who date, but I keep searching...

Bon Jovi is playing some football stadiums and other big places etc all around UK while I am going to see Maiden.
And now, I got to try to squeeze.... squeeezzeeee... squeezzzeeee.... them in.
By hook or by crook. Near impossible I guess, with limited time, and long train journeys, but I got to try my  best to find a solution.

A Bon Jovi stadium show, a UFO, an Alice In Chains, a Motorhead, a bit of Mastodon (if I feel like it) and of course 3x Maiden England shows..

I need a Superman Tonight to help me haha.
