5 Jam sehari dalam tren/bas/jalan kaki & Latest IRON MAIDEN EXCLUSIVELY MASTERED FOR ITUNES from original analog source - lets begin with the most crucial and triggering my curiosity - the first album

A new Maiden news, even its about them TAKING MORE $$$$$$$MONEY$$$$$$ FROM ME!!! DAMN YOU MAIDEN!! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!! LOL!!!  So my usual rants and complaints in Malay language and then in English. So please bear with me.

Ipod Nano on a XPS 13 2015

Buat masa kini, Hari2 atau malam2 yang aku kerja, sekurang2 nak gi kerja aku kena naik mrt (train), bas, jalan kaki ambil masa semua 2 JAM.
Balik tambah lagi 2 JAM. Kalau pergi sana sini, contoh rumah orang tua, berapa jam sehari aku kena jalan kaki, naik bas, naik train. 5 JAM? 6 JAM? so on average every work day or work night senang cakap aku akan spend 5 hours travelling gi kerja balik kerja.

Ini yang hari aku kerja la...
Kalau duduk cramp bontot, kalau diri nak collapse kepala lutut, tapi....Selagi ada rezeki, kerja je la, ENDURE je la... satu hari nanti rezeki abis kat sini, entah tak tahu bila masa terdekat atau jauh lagi masih dapat peluang bekerja di tempat sekarang,
maka kat tempat lain la kita carik rezeki yang lain..

Tu yang hari kerja... tapi kalau hari off day, rest day...berapa jam aku dalam bas ekpress, aku kat TBS, aku naik LRT, jalan kaki...

Jadi masa2  SEPERTI gini aku guna peluang sepenuhnya untuk buat apa aku nak buat, MY PRIVATE TIME!, termasuk mendengar lagu2, band2 dan penghibur yang aku minat.....Sebab tu aku cuba pastikan aku ada alat2 yang sesuai yang akan membantu aku buat apa aku suka buat.. apa yang aku minat dalam masa aku dalam bergerak ni...  ada mp3 player, ada Ipod, mungkin aku nak kena beli satu gadget untuk main FLAC secara portable... (nope aku tak gunakan henpon atau tablet untuk pasang lagu)
I mean, ni passion aku dan aku memang lama betul duk dalam MRT/LRT, bas awam bas ekpress, berjalan kaki jarak dekat, jarak jauh sikit, jarak jauh banyak 1km , 2km, 3km dan lebih...


So aku memang melompat dalam hati bila baca apa STEVE HARRIS sebut tentang dia mastering dari analog tapes album2 studio Iron Maiden dan 2 live albums KHAS untuk Itunes.

Fikiran aku mudah je, Itunes ni walau aku tak suka dan tak sokong product Apple, tapi apa aku fikir Itunes ni untuk orang2 tengah bergerak... So sesuai ngan aku dan cocok untuk aku.

Aku tak boleh lari dari Itunes, pasal kadang2 dorang dapat 1st priority - Contoh - versi Manowar Kings Of Metal MMXIV tu dikeluarkan menerusi Itunes sebulan lebih sebelum album physical.

Adakah aku boleh tunggu? Giler aku dah tak boleh tunggu BRIAN BLESSED (dekni legend - korang yang tengok series BlackAdder tentu tahu betapa legend nye dia) jadi Grandfather ""tell me a story" kat Warriors Prayer MMXIV. Aku kureng ngan Manowar sekarang tapi MMXIV Kings Of Metal memang aku nantikan apa dorang boleh improve dan tak menghampakan walau takde Ross The Boss.

SO jarang2 yang sangat amat, kerana minat aku TERPAKSA mendapatkan product dari Itunes.
Selalu nye 99% of the time, aku prefer RIP 320kbps dari koleksi cd aku. Tapi kali ni aku beri peluang cuba Maiden Mastered for Itunes ni, pasal aku minat Maiden, dan aku memang dengar muzik on the move jadi aku cuba satu dua album dulu.

Jadi album pertama sekali aku dapatkan dari seleksi Iron Maiden Mastering KHAS UNTUK ITUNES ialah tentunya album pertama mereka yang memang dari dulu lagi selalu gembar-gembur rasa kurang puas hati terhadap produksi Will Malone.

Phantom Of The Opera - wahhh memang betul la dari acuan lama dia pakai...  1 saat , 2 saat, 3 saat, 4 saat............, 9 saat, 10 saat - !!Youtorturemebacktothelair!!...

Aku fikir...
Berapa banyak kali ni aku dah belanja untuk album pertama Maiden ni?
Bermacam2 versi cd dari first press, different country issues, Jepun nye, dan remastered versions 1998 yang aku terpaksa akui memalukan Maiden sendiri, dan jugak vinyl lain2 pressing lama dan sekarang, dan tentunya zaman sekolah dulu - kaset. Dan ni baru 1st album.

Tapi ni pertama kali aku beli lagu2 Maiden tanpa ada benda (physically) nak pegang kat tangan.
Tapi aku sangat minat mendalam Maiden, dan aku sebagai peminat sanggup berbelanja lagi sekali Itunes ni kerana perkataan keramat ni  - MASTERED FOR ITUNES EXCLUSIVELY FROM THE MASTER ANALOG TAPES.

OK, selain first album, aku sambar Dance Of Death.

Pasal, ni adalah album Maiden yang aku rasa tertekan bila dengar versi studio. Something is wrong gitu.

IRON MAIDEN CATALOGUE NOW MASTERED FOR ITUNES

Parlophone Records (BMG/INgrooves Music Group for the USA) are delighted to announce the release of nineteen IRON MAIDEN catalogue albums which have been Mastered For iTunes (iTunes.com/IronMaiden), encoded from 24-bit / 96 khz high resolution masters and now re-mastered with iTunes in mind, delivering the music to listeners exactly the way the artist and recording engineer intended. These are brand new re-masters from their original analogue sources, exclusively produced for iTunes. 

All fifteen studio albums, 2 Best Of compilations and 2 live albums were personally selected by Maiden's founder member Steve Harris for this superior mastering technique : Iron Maiden, Killers, The Number Of The Beast, Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, No Prayer For The Dying, Fear Of The Dark, The X Factor, Virtual XI, Brave New World, Dance Of Death, A Matter Of Life And Death, The Final Frontier, Somewhere Back In Time, From Fear To Eternity (2CD), Live after Death (2CD) and Rock In Rio( 2CD)

Steve comments,
"The Mastering For iTunes procedure allows the listener to experience the music as close as possible to the way the artist intended it to be heard.  So of course I was very keen for the Maiden albums to be mastered in this way. The records have been available digitally before, when this medium first became a platform for music distribution but that was mastered with CDs in mind. The iTunes process involves a different approach and it's great to finally deliver the music to our fans in as close to a pure and accurate sound as we could possibly achieve.For example, as most people know, I was never really happy with the sound on the first Maiden album but listening to it now, the guitars are louder, the drums more substantial and the overall tone is so very much improved in my opinion. Tony Newton and Ade Emsley who worked closely with me on the project did a terrific job recapturing everything from the original masters and together we've re- mastered them all digitally and I'm really happy with the results."

Tony Newton adds:
“The process started with locating all of the original album mix tapes (or whichever format they were mixed to). Then the choice of analogue to digital convertor was chosen for the most accurate capture to make it as close as possible to the sound of the mix as it was intended by the band.  When a lot of these tapes were last captured it was in the 1980's, early days of digital and only 44.1khz/16bit files were possible. On top of this the new A/D convertors are far superior now, and of course it is possible to produce files of far higher resolution. The result of this is that the songs now sound more defined with added depth and warmth. I was very excited to be asked to be part of this project, I honestly feel that there is a massive improvement in the quality of these classic albums.”

As 99% of the time, I only listen to music while I am on the move in the subway trains, public buses, and walking in the streets or anywhere, music in a mobile format is important to me. 
99% of the time it will be something personally ripped by myself from my collection to 320kbps.
So if a AAC Itunes format means I can listen to my favourite band better, then I dont mind buying more and more of the Mastered for Itunes series.

So what I think so far of the Itunes Mastered Iron Maiden selection of albums as chosen and given the master treatment from the original tapes by Steve Harris?

Like I believe most people who will purchase this Itune mastered version, the critical one will be the very 1st album.

My ears wont detect, and I am not a Sound expert but seems I notice more of Clive Burr. Also we got the way Phantom Of The Opera was supposed to be ..... complete with THAT ending.

Everything sound so much smoother when I am listening to these songs on crowded, noisy environments of public transport and streets using headphones, though I guess I need to hear more Itunes Mastered albums to decide better.

I suddenly realised there are a lot of ""sound experts" on the internet once Miaden released this Itunes Mastered series. Its interesting to read that, but for me irregardless, as long as I like it so be it.

I may end up admitting an AAC file from Itunes is simply more suitable for those listening while on the move compared to any self-rip 320kbps rips...
But now I had read some info of a HD files of Maiden being released. So maybe it will be on flac I wont know..

Damn the day I decide I like this band when I was a kid long ago, I think I am going to blow my pocket money on more of the Mastered Itunes albums if not all.
I already got Dance Of Death. I just think its too ponderous the first time around when listening as a 320kbps rip thru headphones.
Hope this will be better.

Lets see how this progress in the next few days and week once I get to listen to more albums.

A Matter Of Live And Death will be interesting as it was never mastered before its release.
plus the Martin Birch years, the non-Martine Birch years , the Kevin Shirley years... the Nigel Green years..
Its nice to return to the happiness, warmth, excitment and self-fulfillment of listening to Maiden after a few months break. LOL!!

aku scan thru je tapi aku tak actually baca suratkhabar, aku tak mau baca, aku tak mau baca sangat berita kat tenet. Aku sebak tengok berita satu dua hari ni...
Aku scan headlines suratkhabar dan internet..."ooohh noo, lagi berturut2 kat Australia dan kat Pakistan".. orang buat kezaliman,.. orang buat taik, tapi agama Islam kena terbabit lagik. Tak berenti2 tau...Tiap2 hari ada je.. Satu dunia la.. Kalau tak tempat sekian2 tempat sekian2 kalau tak dekat jauh, kalau tak hal ni hal tu.... Sebab tu orang tak hormat ngan kita. Pasal salah kita sendiri. Cukuplah ngan kecoh2 mata satu ke, kita kena usaha bukan borak je. Always Ingat... Nabi cakap "IQRAQ". DIa suruh baca... So nak baca, kena la gi sekolah... Dan sila jangan malas dan ingat Nujum Pak Belalang tu boleh jadi kat korang, kecuali kalau korang tersepak harta karun atau korang anak Raja. Kalau orang biasa, korang kena la usaha carik rezeki halal dan tolong jangan rosakkan bumi Allah. Ni bumi Allah punye. Segala rezeki pun Allah punye. Semuanya.

I DIG OUT the THE IRON MAIDEN X FACTORS collection I HAVE...These are some of them.... I also don't remember having some of these actually LOL!!

After photo taking session of my collection to have as a "modal" as something for me to talk-cock on this blog, I realise I got this autographed X Factor artwork collecting dust, so again re took the photo with this. LOL!!...

Zaman Iron Maiden X Factor. Dah takde Bruce Dickinson waktu tu, so tentu la sangat terasa dari segi perubahan ni.
Steve Harris pulak ngan masalah rumahtangga dia waktu tu. Apa aku tahu Dave Murray yang suruh "teruskan" waktu Steve Harris dah macam2 masalah kat kepala hotak dia dan dah nak fikir untuk berhentikan Maiden sahaja.
Bila buat album pun, Martin Birch dah bersara 100%. Penyani baru yang dipilih Blaze accident motor. So memang macam2 hal yang banyak tak menjadi untuk dorang waktu tu.

X Factor. X tu bukan sahaja album "kesepuluh" tapi kehadiran suatu yang kita tak tahu dan ada rahsia keistimewaan nya.

Album ni sangat gelap. Ni sebenarnya idea Steve Harris cuba nak buat kat Fear Of The Dark nye album tapi tak menjadi, dan idea tu lebih menjadi kat album X Factor ni dan memang sesuai la ngan apa jadi kat kehidupan dan karier mereka waktu tu.

Kat album X Factor ni banyak lagu "luahkan perasaan hiba, luahan terpendam, merayu mintak tolong, dan kebimbangan dan kegelisahan jiwa" gitu...
Korang bezakan semua lagu dalam album X Factor ni ngan tiga lagu Bsides yang dorang tulis tapi sebagai Bsides untuk single Man On The Edge.

THE JAPANESE VERSION OF X FACTOR IS A DOUBLE DISC WITH ALL THE BSIDES OF THE FIRST SINGLE AND AN ADDITIONAL BOOKLET OF SETLIST PLAYED IN DIFFERENT TOURS IN JAPAN AND LYRICS SHEET AND WHATEVER EXTRA STUFFS IN JAPANESE BESIDES THE NORMAL ONE.


Aku type ni, aku tengah dengar tiga lagu Bsides tu "Justice Of The Peace", "I Live My Way", "Judgement Day", yang memang lagi tempo lagi rancak dan kurang sikit dia punye persamaaan tema ngan lagu2 dalam X Factor.

Justice Of The Peace tak macam lagu Melayu hidup zaman dulu tu?
Semua rumah pintu bukak, semua orang jalan semua orang kenal satu sama lain...?

Album ni sendiri lagu pertama yang thorbaik, pembukaan berani mati lagu pertama terus 11 minit. Siap ada Gregorian nye chants lagik, ada slow dan solos instrumental antara paling sedap dan paling giler babi la Sign Of The Cross.
Lirik dia cantik sangat la "why is God still protecting me even though I dont deserve it".
Lord Of The Flies, sangat sesuai ngan Blaze. Dia je boleh nyanyi part "it brings out the animal...".
Man On The Edge, serious berbual hit single la lagu ni. Pendek dan catchy dan video clip kat padang pasir yang sangat pengsi.
Fortunes Of War. Aku suka sangat lagu ni. Aku suka sangat aku suka bukak besar2 intro dia.
Sedap sangat walaupun puaka nye Blaze nyanyi live kat satu bootlegs tu aku rasa yang Glasgow nye show boleh liriks berterabur, bastardnya audience semua nyanyi betul haha.
Album ni Steve Harris memang master.
Selain Fortunes Of War, dia punye intro Blood On The Worlds Hand. Live pun nanti dorang keluarkan acoustic bass untuk dia main intro lagu ni. WALTZ lagu ni. Lagu ni aku bayangkan orang2 kaya joget kat ballroom buat Waltz tu... hah...
Judgement Of Heaven lagi satu lagu terbaik. Sedap dan lirik dia bermakna sangat. Tapi Maiden tak bawak lagu ni live. Tap Blaze secara solo bawak. Ni pun lagu aku paling feberet.
BILA BLAZE JERIT "YEAARGHHH!!". menusuk kalbu aku...Giler la lagu ni aku paling suka... Betul2 lagu ni sangat bermakna dalam kehidupan aku. Semoga Allah mengampunkan aku. Serious berbual ni lagu boleh kasi aku menangis kalau kena sesuai keadaan nye haha..
Aftermath ialah lagu perang. Edge Of Darkness tu ialah buku cerita perang Appocalyse Now nye filem wayang tu. Filem perang Vietnam yang aku tak paham!! hahaha Banyak sangat berbual dalam-dalam nye cerita. Sorry tak tahu eja Apokolips omputeh. Yang cerita helicopter perang banyak2 Ride Of The Valkries tu.
Lagu2 slow, lagu2 yang tunjukkan Maiden dah makin berusia, makin matang.
2AM, lagu yang ramai dari kita la boleh paham isi kandungan lagu ni.. tentu pernah melalui apa yang nak disampaikan kat lagu ini...... Lagu terus terang nye berbual la kira hahaha.
Look For The Truth,  intro dia mengcengkam jiwa aku, Aku macam nak nangis tau dengar intro ni kadang2, macam sedih sangat gitu... I mean korang sesuaikan situasi lagu ni ngan apa masalah korang waktu tu haha, suka tiba2 slow then laju huhu, tapi bukan ke lagu Maiden banyak gitu haha, dan......last kopek lagu Unbeliever, aku suka Nicko kat lagu ni haha.

BOXSET FOR THE FIRST SINGLE MAN ON THE EDGE WITH POSTCARDS AND THAT IS THE LORD OF THE FLIES CD SINGLE. I REMEMBER SOMEONE IN ARGENTINA SENT ME THIS AS A GIFT.

Aku rasa korang tentu kenal album ni, mungkin ada tak kurang suka, mungkin ada suka... tak kesah la kan, tapi fikir balik.... sapa sangka segala pergolakan zaman tu, dan akhirnya Maiden macam gini sekarang....

Aku boleh agak la dorang enam ni sekarang ni semua banyak bersabar. OK la, Steve Harris ni degil sampai bila2 haha. So aku rasa Adrian Smith terutamanya aku rasa banyak sangat bersabar.
Pasal aku rasa, kalau ada pergolakkan lagi dalam band ni, Tentu rasa rugi sangat dorang berenam ni. Jadi mungkin dorang cuba sepakat bermuafakat gitu...

Aku harap segala khabar angin Maiden dalam diam sebenarnya dah habis rakaman album terbaru mereka kat Paris tu semua betul...
Memang betul tu hari satu dunia sapa minat sukan tennis semua tahu Adrian ngan Nicko pergi tengok perlawanan tennis yang ada tunjuk mereka kat tempat penonton..
tapi speku mungkin dorang berkumpul nak tulis lagu je...
tapi rasanya dalam diam mungkin dorang dah rakam semua...

Paham2 la style Maiden. Ikut tok nenek dorang nye nak buat segala benda dan tak buat segala benda yang peminat2 harapkan.

Aku nak cerita sikit, nak dengar ok, tak nak dengar scroll bawah yang "font italic warna merah" layan gambo.

Aku gi Pos Opis, orang ni nak ambil bungkusan dia, (kira macam postman datang rumah dia takde, so dia kena collect sendiri kan kat pejabat pos?).
So, pegawai bertugas, kakak Melayu, terangkan kat dia, pasal dah sampai tempoh sekian2 lama,
bungkusan tu dah hantar balik kat ibu pejabat ke hapa la...untuk diproses langkah lanjut.
Pegawai bertugas cakap baik2, suruh dia tepon nombor berapa la pergi cek.

OK, dia suruh pegawai petugas yang buat! Hello..aku dah bingit, pasal aku dalam Q, ko pergilah telepon sendiri..
Lepas tu bila pegawai bertugas dah telepon pun sama jugak kan, orang tu kena buat tindakan lanjut sendiri, dia dah start marah2.
Dia gunakan perkataan "You fucking waste my time", fuckin ok dia cakap..
Aku cakap dalam hati...wah...ni CCTV semua banyak ni merata aku tengok, ko nak mampos ke, dalam hati la,
Orang tu berbual Inggeris lancar, nengok cam pergi sekolah, tapi perangai BODOH SOMBONG.

Dia marah2 kau, dahsyat, Siap panggil Manager..

Terus dia lagi kantoi senditi dengan cakap " WHO READ THE SMALL PRINT???".

Bodoh kan? Maknanya kau terima hakikat yang pejabat pos semua buat kerja ada hitam putih....

Kalau tu budak remaja, atau anak2 muda, atau umur 20an, aku masih faham, dan aku rasa tentu dorang pun takkan berkelakuan ni macam..

Aku mula2 ingat tak mau la tak mau la tak mau la nak boxset ni nanti lain kali pelan2 la kumpul sekeping2 kan, kalau panjang umur dan lepas Maiden dah berhenti main Live lain kali, 
sekali tu pasal dua sebab,
aku ada chance dapat harga menarik, dengan harga postage menarik,
pasal kadang2 postage yang buat aku bingit...

dan bila aku baca, ada orang yang pre-order kat merata tempat di lain2 tempat di Eropah ada yang dapat laporan kena rejek last minit, pasal kotak dah tak cukup......

review- Blaze Bayley Live In Prague 2014 Limited Ed. of 500 Tin-Box DVD

Aku rasa Blaze Bayley ni ialah seorang yang jujur, rendah diri, mungkin hati dia baik, mungkin dia dah tempuhi terlampau banyak dugaan dalam hidup dia sebagai penyanyi atau kehidupan peribadi yang menjadi suka-duka kehidupan gitu...

AKU SUKA DIA....Korang bayangkan? dalam DVD ni dia berbual pasal sudu, YES, HE TALKS  ABOUT A HUMBLE SPOON BEING SO USEFUL TO HIM.... and this is the human touch that I like, because I carry a humble spoon to everyday I go to work or anywhere else when I carry my bag.

Dah tu boleh nampak cara dia, sebagai artis kecil-kecilan...

Serious berbual, dalam majalah2 hiburan omputeh pun, media massa hiburan omputeh pun, mana ada liputan Blaze Bayley sangat?

Jadi memang la, dia hargai sokongan peminat2 dia....

Blaze Bayley ni sekarang dah "independent", dah takde mana2 syarikat rekod company lagi, album2 solo dia semua pun hakcipta milik semua dah beralih kat dia jadi kira beli apa pun dari dia, cd ke baju ke hapa ke semua belanja terus kat diri dia sendiri.

Jadi berapa bulan lepas, dia umumkan nak rakam dan terbitkan rakaman live DVD persembahan dia kat PRAGUE, jadi ada limited edition 500 dalam packaging khas gitu, so aku pun taruk nama la cepat2... kasi sokongan la kira..
AKU TAHU DIA PERLUKAN DUIT TU UNTUK BUAT BENDA NI.....
. dan aku tahu kalau taruk nama mesti ada best2 nye akan terjadi.. haha. OK la, 500 untuk satu dunia, memang kejap dan cepat je la senarai tu diisi.. memang kena laju, siap taruk "Alarm" dalam "handphone" ok!! Nak lekas2 register gitu kat website dia gitu...

Aku pernah cerita kan? Waktu aku taruk nama, paypal ke hapa gitu, BAYARAN AKU SANGKUT!!!!...

Tapi dorang tunggu kasi aku peluang berapa hari......  Boleh gitu macam....??

The contents are... and its as spectacular as the Soundtracks Of My Life Platinum Edition which was like released in October 2013. And I am also lucky to get a package of that too...

- The two hour show of Prague with about 23 songs.......with quite a number of video cameras used, and most important, a lot of footages of his support band for that tour... ABSOLVA with Chris Appleton - guitar, Martin Mcnee - Drums, dan bassist malam tu ialah - Dan Bate.

Blaze Bayley live with one guitarist, So an interesting arrangements of songs is enjoyed here...... For Blaze solo songs, and a bit of IRON MAIDEN songs that he played......

 - Another footage from 2011 of 5 songs, with lots of close-ups footages of Blaze and his fans in a small tight environment of De Rots Antwerp.

- Two videos...including the emotional One More Step. 

And when Blaze sings these type of songs, I really like it, Its for real...

And the amazing INTERVIEWS of Blaze, All the amazing Footages of them in Prague I believe,

all the Hotel room scenes,

and you realise........ how budget everything is....

BLAZE himself helping with the parking for his band's van....

Its really so budget....  Like I say , His humility and humbleness shines thru, Oooo And he did have some kind words for Iron Maiden too during a part of the interview...

I like what I see of him on his releases, as a singer and as a person. Did I say he spent time talking about the humble spoon? How many of us really takes the time to ponder about the humble spoon...

- Ooo I really like him, writting down the setlist for the show...and giving comments...

OK, now that is what he thinks of the song Clansman!!!!... 

- And the funny scene when Blaze was mumbling about the videoman taping and nothing interesting is happening and he's going "its the fans money for this recording, and you are recording with nothing interesting happening...", and actually something interesting happens right on cue with the band member stuck on the pavement,

and Blaze was like in ""Stressful"" mode looking at it,

that was hilarious........

Furthermore, I also like his scenes with his fans after the show,
and really like his after the show, straight to the merch to sign for everyone, and love the story of 700 in Brazil somewhere, and he sign for everyone...

Maybe after Maiden retires, then if I travel backpack to see bands playing in different places in Europe in different environment, then I arranged it with following Blaze schedules?

HAHA...

Being a Maiden and Blaze fan and being in the ass of the world is really a problem.....


A very very good buy indeed this DVD...  I am very happy watching the DVD and all its content...

And its something I will watch again for sure, and playing as background music while doing other things at home, and love the interviews and video footages of Blaze interviews...

The book is about 28 pages,

And you realise, BLAZE took so much effort to write down his notes and create this book for that first 500???

I am overwhelmed..

and to have it stated...This Booklet is Made For...

Maybe one day I hope I got to shake his hand... haha and tells him how much I like him a lot..

BLACK HEAVYWEIGHT 180g VINYL - AT LAST AFTER MANY MANY YEARS OF WAITING.. BUT.. REALITY CALLS!!!

Pengumuman yang dinanti-nantikan sejak bertahun-tahun lamanya akhirnya muncul.

Setelah tamat dan takkan diulang lagi persembahan Sejarah zaman 80an Iron Maiden yang dibahagi tiga (tahun 2005, tahun 2008-2009, dan 2012-2014) yang berakhir dengan tiga tahun pusingan "Maiden England" punya tema Maiden beraksi di merata tempat kecuali benua Asia dan Oceania, maka diumumkan...

Piring HITAM semua album zaman 1980-1988 berdasarkan heavyweight 180g black vinyl akan dikeluarkan semula dari acuan Master Tape Analogue Asli Maiden dari zaman dulu.

(Picture Disk memang cantik...TETAPI ni yang sangat2 ditunggu.........)

Dan jugak...single 7 Inci Maiden yang cute giler tu dari semua release 1980 hingga 1989 akan dikeluarkan jugak dalam bentuk black vinyl.

Semua packaging akan tiru packaging asli zaman 80an dulu...


Untuk aku, ni berita gembira... tapi...bila ambik kira kalau aku nak kumpul, tentu banyak wang "hiburan" aku yang perlu aku keluarkan... aku ada fikiran sikit...

Ni yang aku tunggu2.... Iron Maiden Black Vinyl heavyweight 180g dan aku harap...segala picture disc dari zaman 2000 terus tu semua dorang pun nanti keluarkan betul2 punya bentuk 180g ni...HITAM.

tapi... macam aku cakap....duit "hiburan" ni, macam untuk korang jugak la kan, cuma ada sekian2.... selepas kita dah tolak yang perlu dan WAJIB dan Mustahak dan benda2 tambahan yang Pakai kepala hotak mesti kita laksanakan dalam hidup,
betapa pun aku minat tetapi Iron Maiden dan Arsenal untuk aku adalah hiburan yang aku perlu tolak tepi demi tanggungjawab, tetapi aku akan cuba sedaya upaya pastikan ada ruang untuk ni dua dalam hati aku sendiri. Cehhhh.......

nak beli apa2 untuk hiburan "SYOK SENDIRI" diri kita sendiri, lepas tolak duit tanggungjawab kita semua, ada had.... TERHAD.

Adakah lagi bagus aku tak mau terjah ni semua, pasal yang lama dulu hancur bocai tu semua ada.... hehehe...

dan aku fokus......siap sedia...kalau panjang umur murah rezeki...

hati aku selalu berdetik....baik aku start tolak tepi.....

Waktu Eropah dan North America akan musim sejuk pada Januari/Februari 2016 nanti...

Maka Iron Maiden akan waktu dah keluarkan album studio terbaru mereka, dan akan tour kat rantau ni dan Asia lain, dan Oceania....

dan mungkin kali terakhir, dan kali terakhir, tentu mereka nak main banyak tempat kat rantau Asia, termasuk "Kuala Lumpur", apa ejaan Rod Smallwood tulis untuk Kuala Lumpur?? Aku dah lupa, tapi dia eja salah waktu dia cerita planning dia nak Iron Maiden main kat negara dan tempat mana sejak bertahun2 lepas.

Aku dah plan 2016 Chinese New Year, hati aku cakap Maiden akan main Australia merata tempat untuk kali terakhir, dan aku nak backpack giler2 lagi sekali cammana aku buat tahun 2011 dulu, dan aku kena plan berjimat sekarang, sikit2 lama2 jadi bukit...

So...

walaupun hati ku sedih, tapi aku fikir....ah beli2 ni semua tak yah la.......




haha..


Tapi jangan terkejut kalau aku tewas ngan panggilan Black Vinyl heavyweight 180g ni.

review Blaze Bayley SOUNDTRACKS OF MY LIFE - platinum edition.

Koleksi terbaik dari ladang untuk tahun ini. Sapa korang tak kenal Blaze Bayley ni,
dia paling dikenali sebagai penyanyi untuk dua album studio Iron Maiden tahun 90an dulu- X Factor dan Virtual XI, sewaktu zaman Bruce Dickinson buat hal, keluar Maiden tahun 1993-1999 gitu.
Blaze jugak penyanyi Wolfsbane, jugak penyanyi untuk band dia sendiri BLAZE, lepas tu BLAZE BAYLEY BAND, dan sekarang ni dia sebagai Blaze Bayley sahaja. Kembali sorang takde band tetap kat belakang dia.
Suara dia lemak, sedap...nak2 bila dia sekali2 nyanyi lagu akaustik cam Russian Holiday. Gerek giler. Merdu..
tapi aku selalu fikir, nasib dia cam kentang . Tu la aku makin sukaaaaaa kat dia.

This is an excellent double cd of 30 songs collection chosen by Blaze himself.
I guess its a kind of Best Of Blaze Bayley really.
A nice way to start to know his works as a solo artist if you have never checked him out.
He deserves more recognition and support for his tremendous works.

Every single song is entertaining, exciting, thrilling,
great singing, great music, dual duelling guitars, time changes, cunning, beautiful lyrics.
Blaze must have learnt alot during his Maiden years.
I guess the Remasterings helps too - The songs sounds wonderful to my ears hearing it on my headphones while walking on the streets and on noisy public transport.




This is my opinion of Blaze Bayley's Soundtracks Of My Life Platinum edition of 300 copies. I was fortunate to be able to "reserved" a copy fast enough on the first day itself.
I remember I did set an alarm on my handphone to log in to the internet on the first day of pre-sale for the platinum edition..
Definitely, this is the collection of the year for me.
I just couldn't praise enough of this set. Its a winner.

So first lets talk about the double cd itself. Lets start with the booklet.
You have Blaze putting in lots of efforts to comment and giving short notes on the background and stories of each of the song chosen.
I really love it and enjoy reading his notes on each of the songs.

CD1 has these 15 songs - the man who would not die, ghost in the machines, stare at the sun, robot, kill & destroy, silicon messiah, the brave, the launch,
king of metal (REMIXED by RICK PLESTER, WHO ALSO REMASTERED THIS COLLECTION), rainbow fades to black, samurai, blackmailer,
watching the night sky, speed of light,and lastly, soundtrack of my life.15 heavy and fast fantastic songs selection, though some of them starts slow like the fantastic Stare At The Sun. 
CD2 starts with two wonderful acoustic songs by Blaze with Thomas Zwijsen - the sweet Russian Holiday and a remake of Iron Maiden's The Clansman 14 years later.
Then it picks up with a superb voices from the past, tenth dimension, blood and belief, 10 seconds, leap of faith, tough as steel (Wolfsbane song covered by Blaze band), comfortable in darkness,
having someone elses life, the day I feel to earth (Blaze comments it as the day he got sacked from Maiden), motherfuckers R us, wonderful life (a song by Sinnergod with Blaze as a guest and this song ends with something I am still curious about, like a hymn or chant),
hatred, eating children (the last two songs are new songs that was written quickly for this release, I dont like hatred when it first appeared on youtube as a promo, but now listening to all its glory from the cd source, I like it.

One thing is that listening to some of Blaze songs, I realise how much the lyrics are touching and meaningful to me.

but I think the dramatic thing about this Platinum Edition is the A5 size book called Albums Of My Life.

It has in total about 60 colour pages of high quality paper with each page actually has a huge watermark of the album cover.
Blaze signed the book, and he personally writes down your name in his handwritting too, as one of the 300 to get it.
Very classy production of this Albums Of My Life book and I have to give Full marks for the effort and details given to this book release.

As its his own words and I guess Blaze being a sensitive, conscientious and maybe romantic person who had gone thru a lot of hardship in life,
this book has a feel of a "personal full disclosure" of his feelings and emotions of each period of his music career.
He has some choices words to those he is not happy with, even big famous names, but he did have some kind words too for others. And I guess he really love Ronnie James Dio too.
So its not a fun happy book, yes there are some good laughs, but there are other sad, daunting, stressful periods for him.
His financial issues, his depression, his bitterness, his many problems, and he even list down manual jobs he did,
- being a driver, a factory worker, etc even after he had already experienced being the singer of Iron Maiden, maybe one of the greatest band ever to walk this earth.



So this a tiny bit of photos of the book..

Thats all. In conclusion, this double cd is worth it. The songs are blasting as I am typing this...
