Powerwolf - Call Of The Wild 3cd Earbook version ulasan/review

 Salam semua , Hi Everyone.

A short one in my Bahasa Melayu Pasar, and then on to my broken English.

Gara-gara aku punya la susah mencarik lagu " MIDNIGHT MADONNA " dalam versi cd selepas kesilapan aku terhegeh-hegeh nak pre-order album Sacrement of Sin versi 3cd sampai dah sold out, maka aku tak mau buat kesilapan sama...

Diumumkan je berapa bulan lepas Call Of The Wild versi Earbook 3cd aku terus pre-order seawal mungkin. Dan memang dijangkakan selepas beberapa hari, memang sold-out versi ini.

Tidak menghampakan... buku saiz 28cm x 28cm. 100 mukasurat penuh art/seni berkenaan Powerwolf dan imaginasi2 band dan artis. Lirik2, info2, dan ada 3 cd. CD album studio, cd sama lagu tapi bentuk Simfoni dan gunakan koir, dan terakhir, cd2 dimana lagu2 Powerwolf dari album2 lagi awal dimana muzik dimainkan anggota Powerwolf manakala vokal oleh penyanyi2 berlainan yang adanya adalah nama2 hebat muzik rock.

Ulasan aku untuk album ni, album ke studio yang kelapan Powerwolf. Sebuah band yang sangat produktif dapat riliskan 8 album studio dalam jangka masa sekitar 16 tahun begitu. Sejak aku dapat tonton mereka bermain tahun 2014 dahulu, aku rasa kalau aku pilih satu aje band Jarman buat masa ni, aku akan pilih Powerwolf.

- Tiada lagu yang boleh jadi pop hit seperti album lepas "Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend ", yang muncul kembali dalam album versi 3cd ni dengan dendangan penyanyi ARCH ENEMY diringi band Powerwolf yang menjadikan lagu ni lagi hebat kerana "suara" wanita.

- Semua lagu konsisten takde masalah aku untuk mendengar semua lagu sekali harung. Antara lagu yang menjadi tarikan setiap kali dimain cd album studio Call Of The Wild ni beberapa kali ialah Varcolac, Alive or Undead (seperti biasa Powerwolf tidak menghampakan dengan satu balada sedap), Glaubenskraft, Call of the Wild, dan Blood for Blood ada sikit Scotland rasanya haha...

- Walaupun apa dicakap oleh band tentang pembikinan album ni ngan lagu lebih berlainan ke hapa ke, pada telinga aku tetap sama, Powerwolf tetap laju, tetap mendebarkan, tetap rancak, tetap menghiburkan, tetap heavy metal.

- Aku pernah berangan, satu hari nanti Iron Maiden akan berakhir, maka band apa aku nak " ikut " ye? Aku dah jumpa dua dan aku rasa pilihan aku takkan berubah. Ghost dan Powerwolf, Dua2 masih muda... kalau band2 usia 40an tu dianggap muda, berbanding ngan band2 aku minat yang kebanyakkan lebih berumur. Powerwolf ni, hanya penyanyi dia dilahirkan 1970, lain2 lebih ke pertengahan atau penghujung 1970an. Aku harap mereka bertahan.

Just a little bit of Happiness in the challenges, hardship, endureship and sorrow of Covid19, A new studio album by Powerwolf is released. Brand new songs. Thank you Powerwolf.

Going thru the credits probably reflect the times and challenges of Covid19. - Recorded in Holland. Vocals recorded in Germany. Choir recorded in Holland. Organs in France. Mixed and Mastered in Sweden.

All songs are consistent, there isnt any outstanding song that can be called a Pop Hit this time, but I think this is more balanced effort than the previous Sacrement of Sin album. I think this album is more aligned to the older ones than the previous effort. If you like Powerwolf, this is more of the same bombardment, the usual majestic songs, usually fast, thrilling and songs that will excite and lots of fun and singalong when played live.

Glaubenskraft is completely Alien language to me. Just like Let There Be Night. And just as beautiful.

The earbook is 28cm by 28cm in hardcover. 3cds. 100 pages of lyrics, info, marvellous art, photos , fantasy depictions, The other cd is now an expected Symphonic version of the new album, with choir.

The 3rd cd is the awesome Missa Cantorem.

Using vocals from the singers from - PRIMAL FEAR (yes that Ralf Scheepers guy), ARCH ENEMY (and probably the most suitable song chosen by her), AMON AMARTH, DORO, SOILWORK, TRIVIUM, LORD OF THE LOST, AVATAR, ALESTORM, WINTERSUN.

A solid 3 cd package, each has its own awesomeness.

I dont regret purchasing this earbook 3cd version.

Powerwolf- The Metal Mass Live (Triple Blue-Ray Discs + cd edition)

A short review of one of the "newer" German rock bands that I like very much.

First in English then in Bahasa Melayu Malay language.

As usual, I try to make both postings has different contents.

So READ BOTH LANGUAGES for different contents if possible.

Powerwolf definitely plays HEAVY METAL.

One of the best bands I saw in Hellfest 2014. Its very difficult to watch Powerwolf for those living in South East Asia. I dont think they ever play in Asia, not even Japan. (Vreid did a Japan Tour recently how I wish I can go travel there to catch Vreid, I really like Vreid).

And I was at the Merchandise Stand that sells particpant bands for the last day of the festival (Sunday) and I realise everyone was buying two bands tshirts more than the rest of the participating bands for Sunday,

its EQUILIBRIUM and POWERWOLF.

I remember I change my own schedule to catch Equilibrium instead of another rock/metal band playing on another stage. (I forgot who).

Anyway both are German bands.

So, this release is a value for money release.

Three concerts - A prime time performance in Summer Breeze Festival, a headlining show in Czech Republic and an amazing performance in a beautiful hall in Oberhausen in front of their 2000 German fans.

I dont really like the Summer Breeze section as the Czech Republic headlining show and the Oberhausen was simply better because I think the audience was better.

The camera angles for the Oberhausen show is definitely the best.

And in Oberhausen they played Let There Be Night,  (who is peeling the onions?? this song brings me sadness  LOL!!)

Plus two documentaries, the Summer Breeze is purely in German but has great footage of behind the scenes and the environment surrounding Powerwolf.

The other documentary which is the long one, has the narator in English, the interviews with the band is mostly in German but except Matthew speaks in English.

If you are already a Powerwolf fan, buy this release just for this documentary is worth it.

Lots of interesting stories about Powerwolf, the sudden popularity when their album hits number one on the German main charts (the first German metal band to do so).

The make up wearing parts, and the fans, they have amazing fans.

And I notice they have lots of girls fans, in the front rows, and these girls are singing along to the "perverted naughty" lyrics. LOL!!!

To the answer whether they are SATANIC? Matthew says Powerwolf wont comment on that. LOL!!

If you are still considering, the total running time of everything is 417 mins of Powerwolf.

Anyway let me warn in advance, if you think you want to discover Powerwolf by buying this release, let me tell you see these shows for the impressive live performance, and the songs are great,

but in no way, these are Powerwolf best songs, because many of my favourite songs are not played.

I hope to visit HELLFEST again, when if I can confirmed the gossips of Iron Maiden headlining the festival again in the future.. The tickets finished so fast.

Kecoh siak ni band, aku ada cita2 nak tengok ni band main kat Jerman, depan peminat hardcore dorang kat show dorang sendiri.

Tapi macam aku cakap, lantak la apa nak buat, paling penting dorang Terbaik dari Ladang lagu2 dorang, 

aku enjoy, dan suka.

Boxset ni seronok la kan? ada tiga konsert berlain,

dokumentari ada dua,

dan apa2 je la.....

Sangat seronok interview2 dengan dorang pasal permulaan, cammana dorang build up fan base, dan masalah, MASALAH OK!!!  bila tiba2 album kelima kat Jerman dapat nombor satu kat carta rasmi Jerman.

Band ni gaduh dengan rekod kompeni dorang pasal dorang tiba2 dijemput masuk TV, kira mainstream nye masyarakat nak tahu pasal dorang,

jadi dorang gaduh, dorang mati2 tak mau masuk tv, ye la , dorang memang kira hati dan jiwa metal je la.
Cuma lagu sedap ramai orang suka kot haha....

Peminat2 dahsyat, pakai make-up semua, dan macam aku cakap, ni band ramai peminat awek..

Tapi bila kamera zoom, awek2 ni tahu lirik siot, sing along siap dengan aksi gerak2 tangan buat tengah sembahyang la, tanda salib la, haha,

dah la lirik semua pervert, semua berbau agama, hentam agama Kristian, pasal Satan ni semua.. , pasal kegelapan, pasal serigala malam.....

Apa kesimpulan aku, NI BAND KURANG AJAR tapi seronok giler.

Penyanyi dia part latin tu semua, tu apa aku tahu dia hentam kromo je, dia memang boleh berbahasa Latin, pasal dia Opera-trained singer, tapi lirik2 Latin tu ayat2 tunggang langgang, apa aku tahu la...

Tapi sapa la kan paham latin pun hahaha.

Atilla Dom ni berbakat, dia dari Romania, so dia memang jiwa Transylvania, Werewolves dan dia training jadi penyanyi Opera, lepas tu dia jumpa gitaris Powerwolf dua orang tu.

Kawan baru.. Headphone Audio Technica yang entah ke berapa aku beli. Puas hati bila kita gunakan sesuatu kita suka sampai lunyai sampai rosak.
Jadi ni kawan baru aku..
Kawan semasa berjalan kaki ke destinasi diperlukan terutama kena jalan kaki jauh jauh punye.

For the past few years I exclusively use Audio Technica headphones for my listening pleasure to music, They are quite rugged and usually I will wear them out till they are damaged one way or another.

I always choose different models, designs and colours, but lets return to stylish black this time around.

The Malaysia show has WINGS (not the Paul McCartney one LOL!!), in the bill, I try not to miss them whenever possible, but sadly I am working then.
So I guess if I go, I will have to go to the Singapore one. I have my work, I will be working morning shift on the day Scorpions play in Singapore.
The standing price ticket is quite a pain in the ass, but its Scorpions with Mikey Dee.
and like Lemmy introduce him in Donington 2013 when Motorhead plays , "Best Drummer In The World - Mikey Dee".
*Mikey Dee was supposed to drum for Thin Lizzy Anniversary Band when they opened for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow on the first show in June, but he joins Scorpions and Thin Lizzy uses Judas Priest Drummer Scott Travis for that evening show in Loreley... One of my most unforgettable rocking moment.
And he brings out Phil Animal Taylor on that same show. Not exactly in the best of conditions Phil Animal Taylor that evening.
I really have no idea of their new album, Scorpions I mean, but it will be fun, whatever songs they play. Scorpions I mean.

Ooo finally the worst kept secret is out. OFFICIALLY NOW -..  GUNS N ROSES.... GUNS N ROSES.... GUNS N ROSES.... (say it Get In The Ring style) is coming to Singapore early next year.

Seems they are going to play in the same place like Metallica a few years back, a bit out of the way for Public Transport Users.
For once a rocking environment, no seating tickets. ITS ALL STANDING.
Metallica draw 40,000? So I guess GNR will draw much more than that.
Two price tickets, both will be standings only.
And its super fuckin expensive.
How many Iron Maiden shows while backpacking in Europe (Standing Front) can I see for the price of a Front section to see GNR in Singapore?

But (again), its the Guns N Roses not some Democracy lineup, albeit only Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan from their Appetite, Lies, and Illusions albums.

And please,

I found it amusing, some people are calling Axl Rose a washout? a fat person? who cannot sing anymore?
Its weird. Cause the comments are simply unfair and untruthful and sit in the bedroom fantasies fairytale.

Angus Young decide on AXL to sing for ACDC.
That is something for the annals in the history of music.

I went to see ACDC plays Manchester with Axl Rose singing in front of a 75,000 hardcore crowd which streches all the way to the other side of the Manchester City Etihad Stadium Football Field.

And HE RULES.

So buy a ticket , go to a show with Axl Rose singing, and then you will take back your words.

And the same goes for the new Queen lineup. I had this negative impression of Adam Lambert until I see them play, 2 sold out shows in London O2 of 15,500 each night,  ADAM LAMBERT RULES THE STAGE, AND RULES THE AUDIENCE. And really he does Queen songs justice, at least for me. And its not easy to sing those songs for 2 hours.

Jadi entah eh.. Mikey Dee main dengan Scorpions mau kang jadi metal.

Mikey Dee, sekali je aku tengok dia main, tapi jauh jugak, kat Donington, gigih.. gi depan tapi tepi la. Dia main dengan Motorhead.
Lemmy Introduction dia waktu kenalkan Phil Campbell dan Mikey Dee sebagai Drummer Terbaik Dalam Dunia.
Kelakar nye (ok tak kelakar ) petang tu Lemmy panggil jemputan khas dia keluar.
iaitu PHIL ANIMAL TAYLOR jugak seorang pemain drum dalam kumpulan Motorhead satu masa dahulu. Mungkin FINAL APPEARANCE EVER PHIL ANIMAL TAYLOR WITH MOTORHEAD ON STAGE kat DONINGTON 2013 pasal lepas tu dia mati.
Dan terus terang, macam aku pernah cerita, sama ada Phil Taylor tengah mabok, atau baru lepas tekan dadah apa ntah, atau memang dia dah otak dah mereng.
Dia lost giler atas pentas. Tak terurus.
Siot je Lemmy.
Dah mati dah dua2 ni Lemmy dan Phil Animal Taylor.

So rasanya tiket berdiri untuk show Singapore masih ada kot, kalau aku pergi, aku mungkin beli tiket satu dua hari sebelum nya, jangan kena sumpit OT sua. Tapi antara OT dan Scorpions, OT la kan lagi mulia.

Ok, Ok, Guns N Roses. Akhrnya dikonfemkan main kat Singapore, tempat sama Metallica main tu hari. Aku sebenarnya suka tempat tepi laut tu walaupun public transport macam PUAKA!!.
(Aku tunggu Seek And Destroy start terus blah, naik bas, terus aku dapat naik last MRT, besok nya nak kerja ah hhahaha).
Pasal tempat dia semua berdiri, adil saksama, cuma tiket bahagi dua la, sapa cepat dia dapat gitu.
So Metallica 40,000 so GNR lebih la tentunya
tapi harga tiket, giler babi tak silap aku 298 ngan 198. Sing$.
Tapi.. Tapi.. ni GNR Axl, Slash , Duff ye tak..

Anyway, percaya la cakap aku, Axl terbaik dari ladang. Kalau tak, Angus tak ambik dia, dan takkan nak sambung main dengan dia masa depan untuk ACDC.
Cuma dengan ACDC dia tak banyak colok. Relak one corner, nyanyi bersungguh2, relak one corner. Depan mata orang bakar flare pun diam.
Takde maki maki nak balik rumah tu jam jugak.
Dan on time ok dia dengan ACDC.

Aku tengok kat Manchester City nye stadium bola, 75 Ribu Peminat ACDC penuh satu stadium dari satu goal sampai goal lagi satu hujung haha...
Security masuk paling sial aku pernah alami tengok band rock buat konsert, tapi worth it. (Aku punye jeruk dan buah kana cina semua kena rembat dengan security, padahal tu semua tak mau kasi aku mabuk dan pening pasal aku backpack giler babi sorang2 so aku kena standby tu semua mau kang aku apa2 kena congkong pasport dan wallet mampos siak aku sapa nak tolong, dan nak tuduh aku macam2 dan tuduh buah kana dan jeruk2 cina tu semua macam2 benda taik, betul2 bukit siot mat salleh mat salleh ni yang ada, jangan mat salleh semua bagus ok).

So aku akan sokong ni GNR ni datang ni. Tapi dengan sokong beli tiket tu belum tahu lagi.

incoming - Book Of Souls World Tour Ed Force One model & Powerwolf -metal mass Live

Some other incoming of electronics techno-dance and dangdut stuffs.. LOL!!

I got the 1:400 scale Ed Force One (the metal one not the usual plastic assembly one),
maybe next time if I got budget I want to get the bigger one.

Above are the three planes Maiden used for their world tours of Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008, Final Frontier World Tour 2011, and Book Of Souls World Tour 2016.

So lets wait for the  2017 Dates. The continuation of Book OF Souls World Tour, where they promise a full British and German Indoor Dates.

This year, I was lucky to do two shows, in two continents..
I think I will stick to this pattern.
At least one show in a RESPECTFUL indoor proper place discipline
and at least one show in a HORRIBLE DISGUSTING outdoor conditions of anything goes. LOL!!

So a bit of contrast. LOL!!

I had always dream of backpacking across UK when Maiden does their UK full tour dates, taking trains and express buses.,
I thought I will do it on their final tour next time,
but I think I will push it forward to next year. I hope so, - a date in Scotland (glasgow or Edinburgh) , another one in Wales (Cardiff) , and one of either side of Ireland - whether Belfast or Dublin would be nice I guess.


Anyway,  I have a favourite bootleg of them from 1986 (Somewhere In Time Tour) in Colston Hall, Bristol. I dont think Iron Maiden can play there anymore due to the demands,
but Belinda Carlise is still playing in Colston Hall on her last British Tour.
It would be nice to see this Colston Hall place, wih maybe bands like Human League, Bananarama or Belinda Carlise or Powerwolf? LOL!!!..

Speaking of Powerwolf,

( the only band that I am willing to take a taxi from Nantes to Clisson for Hellfest, just because I want to see them play, and I had OVERSLEPT till afternoon on the timeslot they are supposed to play ). It was worth the taxi fare.
I hope to see them again next time.

This is the latest and 6th studio album from Powerwolf.
Its the EARBOOK 2-CD EDITION which I understand is limited to 500 copies.
The first cd in the packaging is the Blessed & Possessed album itself while the 2nd cd which is not available on the normal versions of this new album is called Metallum Nostrum. More of this later.

As usual I will intro a bit in my bastardized Malay language and then review a bit about the new album in my Broken English.

Aku rasa la kan, kumpulan Rock dari Jerman yang dah jadi paling kegemaran aku sejak berapa tahun lepas ialah Powerwolf.
Paling kegemaran ok. Tu hari Helloween baru keluar kan? My God-Given Right. Aku dengar lagu pertama, lagu kedua, lagu ketiga...  Sedap tu sedap tapi takde tinggalkan apa2 keseronokkan sangat.
Buat sementara ini, aku takde motivasi nak dengar lain2 lagu kat Helloween terbaru tu. 

Hairan jugak, pasal album mereka sebelum ni STRAIGHT OUT OF HELL ialah pada aku secara peribadi MUNGKIN ANTARA ALBUM TERBAIK DALAM SEJARAH HELLOWEEN.
Tu la kan, cita rasa masing2, halwa telinga masing2.

OK Powerwolf. Band yang kadang2 lirik2 mereka sangat nakal tapi tersangat sedap kebanyakkan lagu mereka, persembahan live yang gerek dan sangat menghiburkan.
Dalam masa yang sama mereka ada gimik yang menjadi dan berjaya tarik perhatian.
Untung mereka dapat penyanyi handalan dari Romania yang classical opera-trained dan pandai berinteraksi masa main live.

Untuk aku, album studio Powerwolf sebelum ni Preachers Of The Night memang baik tapi tak sebagus album2 sebelum nye.
Jadi aku memang berharap sangat la album terbaru ni Blessed & Possessed pukul abis. Memang menjadi ni album. 
Anyway, lagi sekali lukisan dan design cover album pun Matthew Greywolf guitarist dorang jadi tukang lukis selain jadi tukang tulis lagu. Mereka memang berbakat.



Album ni Lagu kebanyakkan nye gerek abis. Aku dah dengar berulang kali tak jemu.
Kali pertama aku dapat bungkusan ni, aku dengar aku kat dalam MRT, pasang headphones, terus masuk lagu pertama.. Wahh drums dia best giler la pada telinga aku, si botak tu memang terbaik la huhu, dan lagu pun gerek, laju..., rancak, melodik, semua best. Dah tu lagu kedua pun gerek, lagu ketiga LAGI GEREK... terus la semua memuaskan hati.

Album rock terbaik bagi tahun ini untuk aku tak lain tak bukan Book of Souls, tapi nombor dua tak tahu lagi haha.
Tapi dvd live band rock tahun ni sempat ke yang Savatage Wacken show tu keluar? hah ni confirm terbaik dalam sejarah rock la kan.
korang tahu cerita pasal Savatage Reunion tu hari kat Wacken?
Ala.... aku macam rasa.. dahsyat giler.
Savatage main 2nd main stage 40 minit lepas tu stop.
Terus TSO main 1st main stage 40minit.
Terus dua dua stage hidup dan dorang main sama2 lagi satu jam.
Kira dua band main sama2 satu kat dua stage, kan stage dorang kan kembar.
Al Pitrelli lari sana sini la kira.
Dahsyat.

Aku rasa peminat2 Savatage satu dunia tentu happy.
Band ni dah evolve dan evolve dan evlove dah jadi satu Monster besar gile ngan bermacam band bercabang semua mula dari idea2 Savatage dan producer si O'neil tu.
Walau Criss Oliva dah mati dah lebih 20 tahun..


Balik kat pendapat aku album Powerwolf baru ni, Lagu yang mula2 aku rasa paling aku kureng, lagu nombor 7 pun sebenarnye sedap tapi tu la takkan semua sedap giler kan? mesti ada cacat cela sikit. Walau lepas tu dengar ulang kali sebenarnye sedap pun, cuma aku tak suka korus dia je haha.
Tapi aku konfiden BOOK OF SOUL nanti adalah perfection. HAHA. Memang dalam kepala hotak ok tak sabar!!!!!!!!!!

Korang semua dah dengar sample teaser 28 Saat kan? Speku satu dunia ialah tentu itu lagi Speed Of Light. Adrian Smith nye penghabisan solo terus masuk melodi instrumental... DAHSYAT!!!!
Bayangkan 28 saat ni dah kasi peminat semua happy giler????

OK balik kepada Powerwolf, jadi album ni ada 11 lagu,Boleh kata takde lagu meleleh cuma lagu terakhir Let There Be Night ada sikit MAJESTIC gitu, dan dah macam lazim pulak, Powerwolf akan persembahkan lagu terakhir ngan ada bunyik Angin, bunyik loceng gereja, bunyik guruh... very Black Sabbath gitu...Mungkin ini a nod to Black Sabbath setiap album kot?
tapi memang Powerwolf ni apa aku tahu dorang memang KIPAS SUSAH MATI Black Sabbath dan Mercyful Fate.

Lagu2 aku suka kat album ni kira semua la, Blessed & Possessed, Dead Until Dark, Army Of The Night, Armata Strigoi, We Are The Wild, Sanctus Dominis, Harder Than Heaven, Sacramental Sister, All You Can Bleed, dan lagu terakhir Let There Be Night tu..
Yang aku rasa makin dengar makin terbaik lak Let There Be Night tu...
Aku seriously tak tahu apa lirik lagu ni bahagian Latin tu...(Aku speku je bahagian aku tak paham tu semua nyanyi LATIN la kot? haha) tapi lagu ni sangat mengujakan...

Aku speku lagu Let There Be Night ialah lagu Werewolves manusia serigala la kan.
Tak pun Vampires/Draculas dan sebagainya.

Dorang ni kan, suka hentam kromo Latin, ni apa aku tahu la, betul semua latin2 tu semua tapi bila dorang buat lirik, jadi ayat tunggang langgang gitu.. ni apa aku baca dari komen peminat2 la yang paham apa tu Latin. kalau salah sorry. 
Anyway, ARMATA STRIGOI tu Army of The Undead dalam bahasa orang ROMANIA.

OK, CD kedua kat album yang ada dalam versi 2cd ni bernama METALLUM NOSTROM.
Ada 10 lagu.
Semua lagu2 cover version, kebanyakkan nye lagu2 Rock yang popular dari zaman pertengahan 80an hingga awal 90an dulu.

Dari band2 Rock TERKENAL gitu la - Judas Priest ada dua lagu (dua2 dari  album Painkiller, satu album Judas Priest yang dahsyat kalau difikirkan), Ozzy Osbourne solo, Running Wild, Gary Moore/Phil Lynott , Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath zaman Tony Martin dan memang mengujakan ok cover version HEADLESS CROSS mereka...., dan ni lagi buat aku suka Powerwolf, dorang ada great taste pasal dorang cover lagu Savatage jugak..... Cuma ada satu lagu terkeluar ring sikit pasal dari zaman 2000 ke atas. Lagu dari Amon Amarth.


Memang seronok la dengar interpretasi mereka. Tambahan dorang  Powerwolf ada keyboards player si cengkung tu yang juga suka lari sini lari sana tu tak tahu diri diam sambil interaksi ngan audience.

Terbaik la cd kedua ni.

Aku suka cover version lagu ni yang kat dalam album Metallum Nostrum.



Macam aku cakap kat blog baru2 ini, harap Toni Iommi remix Forbidden cepat2, dia panggil balik semua yang ada kena mengena zaman Headless Cross - TYR, Forbidden..

ok ok Cozy Powell dah takde, tapi panggil Bill Wards la, Vinnie Appice, Bobbi Rodinelli dan tentu happening... rotate2 kan ikut zaman masing2... WAAHHHH!!!!! IMEJIN!! IMEJIN!!!!!

Tapi lain semua gerek la jugak, Shot In The Dark...wahhh hebat, lagu2 Judas Priest si Attila boleh bawak la takde hal, tapi satu je kat telinga aku ada sikit nak adjust, lagu Edge Of Thorns... tu lagu istimewa. SAVATAGE. Istimewa band Savatage ni. Tak kira dari era zaman apa pun..
Edge Of Thorns , lagu Jon Oliva dah cerita, dia tulis lagu ni tapi cuma satu orang je boleh nyanyi, Zachary Stevens. HAHA.



KESIMPULANNYE - Untuk aku, ni album yang versi ada 2 keping cd adalah sangat2 mengujakan dan sangat mengsyok-sendirikan aku sesyok2nye.


Bentuk EARBOOK tu kalau sapa2 tak tahu, dia contoh seperti ini, saiz Piring Hitam LP, dan selalunye dalam bentuk buku kulit luar yang keras, dan banyak muka surat penuh macam2.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM BY POWERWOLF??

IT REALLY GIVES ME A THRILL AND THE CHILLS AND MAKES ME SMILE FROM EAR TO EAR WHILE LISTENING TO THESE 2 CDS WITH MY HEADPHONES ON THE SUBWAY.


Its exciting, I got extra excited by the drums, Its Entertaining, Its Fun, Its Majestic, Great Songs, Great Melodies, Great Singing,

The album Blessed & Possessed is just 45 minutes long for the 11 songs.
As usual Powerwolf is not a band who try to squeezed as much music into a CD length album but more to the traditional LP sized album length. Maybe thats why the album sounds nice as only the best parts are in.

If you are into Powerwolf you will love this Blessed & Possessed album.

Meanwhile for the 2nd cd, the bonus METALLUM NOSTRUM, except for the unknown to me Chroming Rose which they covered the song Power & Glory, the rest are essentially a greatest hits from the famous rock bands from the mid 80s to early 90s.

Judas Priest is represented twice from Painkiller album - touch of evil and night crawler, phil lynott gary moore Out in the fields, Maiden's evil that men do, Savatage's wonderful song Edge Of Thorns, Sabbath Tony Martin's Headless Cross, Running Wild's Conquestadores, Amon Amarth post 2000 Gods Of War Arises among others. 

The time length is more for just 10 songs, its total 52 minutes.

Anyway, the previous Powerwolf stuffs, like both the HERESY BOXSETS which are simply glorious and superb packagings, the other albums, photos of Powerwolf that I took myself when seeing them play live... and others...

In conclusion if you're a Powerwolf fan I think its attractive and worth it to get the double disc version and the packaging for this version is very nice...
