Powerwolf- The Metal Mass Live (Triple Blue-Ray Discs + cd edition)

A short review of one of the "newer" German rock bands that I like very much.

First in English then in Bahasa Melayu Malay language.

As usual, I try to make both postings has different contents.

So READ BOTH LANGUAGES for different contents if possible.

Powerwolf definitely plays HEAVY METAL.

One of the best bands I saw in Hellfest 2014. Its very difficult to watch Powerwolf for those living in South East Asia. I dont think they ever play in Asia, not even Japan. (Vreid did a Japan Tour recently how I wish I can go travel there to catch Vreid, I really like Vreid).

And I was at the Merchandise Stand that sells particpant bands for the last day of the festival (Sunday) and I realise everyone was buying two bands tshirts more than the rest of the participating bands for Sunday,

its EQUILIBRIUM and POWERWOLF.

I remember I change my own schedule to catch Equilibrium instead of another rock/metal band playing on another stage. (I forgot who).

Anyway both are German bands.

So, this release is a value for money release.

Three concerts - A prime time performance in Summer Breeze Festival, a headlining show in Czech Republic and an amazing performance in a beautiful hall in Oberhausen in front of their 2000 German fans.

I dont really like the Summer Breeze section as the Czech Republic headlining show and the Oberhausen was simply better because I think the audience was better.

The camera angles for the Oberhausen show is definitely the best.

And in Oberhausen they played Let There Be Night,  (who is peeling the onions?? this song brings me sadness  LOL!!)

Plus two documentaries, the Summer Breeze is purely in German but has great footage of behind the scenes and the environment surrounding Powerwolf.

The other documentary which is the long one, has the narator in English, the interviews with the band is mostly in German but except Matthew speaks in English.

If you are already a Powerwolf fan, buy this release just for this documentary is worth it.

Lots of interesting stories about Powerwolf, the sudden popularity when their album hits number one on the German main charts (the first German metal band to do so).

The make up wearing parts, and the fans, they have amazing fans.

And I notice they have lots of girls fans, in the front rows, and these girls are singing along to the "perverted naughty" lyrics. LOL!!!

To the answer whether they are SATANIC? Matthew says Powerwolf wont comment on that. LOL!!

If you are still considering, the total running time of everything is 417 mins of Powerwolf.

Anyway let me warn in advance, if you think you want to discover Powerwolf by buying this release, let me tell you see these shows for the impressive live performance, and the songs are great,

but in no way, these are Powerwolf best songs, because many of my favourite songs are not played.

Kecoh siak ni band, aku ada cita2 nak tengok ni band main kat Jerman, depan peminat hardcore dorang kat show dorang sendiri.

Tapi macam aku cakap, lantak la apa nak buat, paling penting dorang Terbaik dari Ladang lagu2 dorang, 

aku enjoy, dan suka.

Boxset ni seronok la kan? ada tiga konsert berlain,

dokumentari ada dua,

dan apa2 je la.....

Sangat seronok interview2 dengan dorang pasal permulaan, cammana dorang build up fan base, dan masalah, MASALAH OK!!!  bila tiba2 album kelima kat Jerman dapat nombor satu kat carta rasmi Jerman.

Band ni gaduh dengan rekod kompeni dorang pasal dorang tiba2 dijemput masuk TV, kira mainstream nye masyarakat nak tahu pasal dorang,

jadi dorang gaduh, dorang mati2 tak mau masuk tv, ye la , dorang memang kira hati dan jiwa metal je la.
Cuma lagu sedap ramai orang suka kot haha....

Peminat2 dahsyat, pakai make-up semua, dan macam aku cakap, ni band ramai peminat awek..

Tapi bila kamera zoom, awek2 ni tahu lirik siot, sing along siap dengan aksi gerak2 tangan buat tengah sembahyang la, tanda salib la, haha,

dah la lirik semua pervert, semua berbau agama, hentam agama Kristian, pasal Satan ni semua.. , pasal kegelapan, pasal serigala malam.....

Apa kesimpulan aku, NI BAND KURANG AJAR tapi seronok giler.

Penyanyi dia part latin tu semua, tu apa aku tahu dia hentam kromo je, dia memang boleh berbahasa Latin, pasal dia Opera-trained singer, tapi lirik2 Latin tu ayat2 tunggang langgang, apa aku tahu la...

Tapi sapa la kan paham latin pun hahaha.

Atilla Dom ni berbakat, dia dari Romania, so dia memang jiwa Transylvania, Werewolves dan dia training jadi penyanyi Opera, lepas tu dia jumpa gitaris Powerwolf dua orang tu.

Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW Live In Germany Memories In Rock - Japanese Pressing Blue Ray + 2cd (with additional songs Japan version only)

Assalamualaikum and Greetings Everyone
Wherever you are.

I hope this will be a short post but knowing me, I will stray completely out of topic usually LOL!.
As usual first in my broken uneducated incoherent English Language followed by my market-street-lingo style  Bahasa Melayu Pasar Malay Language.
I will try to have different contents, so its good to know both languages. LOL!!

Much has been talked by me in this blog, as I was at the first night Loreley Germany show.

The fireworks was amazing during Smoke On The Water in Loreley.
A photo of that situation is at the back of the booklet of the version packaging that I have.

My review of the first night in LORELEY for you who have not read it and the photos of the first night show in an amazing place, with and amazing performance and fans coming from all over the world is here plus opening bands is linked here.

I also add some info on how I managed to get to Loreley and spent a few days besides the Rhine River at Sank Goar and exploring villages and towns along the fearsome river.

Anyway, this are some photos from the packaging.
The Japanese Pressings of the Blue Ray + 2cd versions besides having additional songs also have as usual a Obi Strip and also another booklet in white which has Japanese texts and also on the seperate Japanese booklet contains all the SETLISTS for the three nights that Rainbow 2016 version played - LORELEY, STUTTGART and also BIRMINGHAM. That means 2 nights in Germany and 1 night in England.
The Japanese booklet looks interesting but sorry, I have no idea at all what is printed.


Anyway, Rainbow of the year 2016.
Probably the very final Rainbow lineup ever.

And I will say again and again. This is a Ritchie Blackmore band. He do as he pleases all his career and he won't start pleasing anyone now.

He can choose who he likes, and who are we all to complain and be bitter about it just like Joe Lynn Turner? Well, at least Joe Lynn Turner is a somebody. LOL!!

So I will just roughly says what I like about this release, and whats the special about the Japanese Pressings of this release.

So as can be seen,

All the video footages and audios only come from the Monsters Of Rock events of Loreley and Stuttgart.
Bietigheim Bissingen is the actual place, but then I discover its at Stuttgart so lets call it Stuttgart.
Stuttgart being a famous Bundesliga football club, so its easier for identification and familiarisation process.

- The video is beautifully shot, with lots of very nice angles especially of Loreley and the Rhine River vicinity...
- Lots of different angles that I like
- Every band member is fairly featured in the videos and have close ups shots and also enough time on the videos for us to enjoy their playing and touches.
- The Drummer is wearing a Depeche Mode tshirt for the 2nd night in Stuttgart I realise on watching the blue-ray.
Now this is someone with great taste. (I am so excited for the new release of DM).

- nice shots of the audience showing lots of people of different age groups which is awesome..
- the sound is superb, I like what I hear too.
- Ronnie James Dio \m/    \m/ sign is seen alot during the shows of course.
As long as Rock and Metal music is alive, his hand sign will go on and on, on and on...

- As expected of a Ritchie Blackmore band, (being it Deep Purple or Rainbow),
in just two nights of back to back shows of their very first two ever shows together and there are plenty of variations and improvisations to please the fans of these two bands.

So its a really value for money to purchase these official releases.
And for those who were there a wonderful momento.

I am so pleased to hear the performance and variations of the second night, and especially Stuttgart has an extra song of 16th Century Greensleeves, which has Ritchie Blackmore wandering of to a another dimension.

After all these slaggings from the internet critics who did not attend the events but has so much garbage to throw at the Rainbow 2016 and Ritchie himself,
I watch the video, and I still find happy people, happy singalong fans in the audience, exactly like I was there,
I never see any unhappy faces, I never hear any Booing when I was there, and again just look at the videos everyone was clapping and having a good time

and yet on the internet, quite a few very bitter people who keep slagging of RB and his band, even the choice of songs..
And please its incredible people are slagging a 71 year old man with Arthritis problem, who just had a finger operation before the Loreley show, who had not played these rock songs for 20 years, and had choosen a completely new band with an unknown singer,  and surely the whole world knows what to expect once the drummer and bassist for the new lineup is announced, and his words he just want to play some rock music,  and on their first two shows ever.

I think respect would be nice after all the happiness that he had brought to us all with Deep Purple, Rainbow, Blackmore's Night and also all the family tree that leads from the first two bands into Whitesnake and Dio and whatever other bands and musicians.

I mean, people have to stop being bitter in life. Please.
A reminder to myself this one and to all you
bitching fuckers out there.

Just enjoy the moment because nothing last forever. Even Ritchie Blackmore.

And Lets see how good you are when you are 71. LOL!!
Maybe you cannot even stand up. So there.
Its weird because if you want a RB of your dreams, you can always have your music collection or memories.

Terus terang la kan, aku cakap penyanyi terbaik untuk jadi penyanyi Journey tetap Joey Belladona dari kumpulan ANTHRAX. Mesti gempak ok Joey Belladona masuk kumpulan Journey.
Tentu Neal Schon dan pernah tengok Joey Belladona bawak lagu2 Journey lam youtube pe. haha.



Apa pun rilisan ni, untuk la terbaik dari ladang...   pasal kalau Ritchie Blackmore ambil sapa2 penyanyi yang lepas, konfem takde sapa boleh bawak lagu zaman Dio,
jadi tetap kena ambil penyanyi yang boleh nyanyikan lagu2 zaman Dio,
dan memang handal Ronnie Romero boleh bawa lagu2 yang waktu ni Ian Gillan dalam Deep Purple pun dah tak mampu bawak, seperti Child In Time.

Jadi kalau korang nak beli rilisan ni, aku rasa bagus la. Pasal seleksi lagu nya ialah lagu2 popular yang dikenali ramai,

iaitu bila Ritchie Blackmore solo lagu ni.... 
rasa macam ok, segalanya worth it.

Dia kalau buat persembahan tambahan tahun 2017 dengan gunakan nama RAINBOW, aku speku dia akan main sepenuhnya lagu2 Rainbow sahaja. 
dan tentu KILL THE KING akan berkumandang buat kali terakhir.

TWO THINGS I GOT TO SAY -

1. This is not the PREMIUM JAPANESE RARE VERSION COSTING A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS.
That version had about 6 discs of additional dvd and two more cds of the final night in Osaka I think.
 Plus that version has a Photo Book and other interesting things. But it cost a bomb. No way, I am saving up to try to backpacking alone for Iron Maiden 2017 European Tour. LOL!!

This is the Japanese Blue Ray Triple Disc Version which two of them are cds.
2. This is definitely the best live video and live album of the year.
UNLESS the November release of Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow Live dvd is the footage from first night in Loreley, Germany, then that will be the best release, BECAUSE I WAS THERE!!!  LOL!!!!

As usual allow me to talk cock a bit in my Distasteful Horrible Vulgar Market- Style Malay Language and then I will continue on in my similar Broken Disgusting Incorrigible English Language.

Cerita2 Uli Jon Roth kat inlet buku kecil bungkusan ini dalam pembikinan dan rakaman album ni sangat dahsyat.
1. Uli Jon Roth cerita pasal dia tak puas hati bangunan Nakano Sun Plaza nak dirobohkan pasal tu tempat bersejarah dan jugak kenangan dia rakam TOKYO TAPES disana dengan Scorpions.
Jadi dia plan nak rakam video di sana main lagu Scorpions yang kira ni bahagian kedua Scorpions Revisited dia la lepas studio album double cd tu hari.
Abis tu,
Dia tak jumpa anggota band nye yang terlibat dalam kegiatan SCORPIONS REVISITED dia selama berbulan2.
Dan terus janji nak buat tiga show di Jepun dan malam kedua dah janji untuk buat rakaman rasmi DVD/Blue ray dan live album.
Uli Jon Roth cuma dengan gitaris lead kedua dia pasal mereka sama2 dalam band Uli Jon Roth. (Dia ada extra dua lead guitars untuk SCORPION REVISITED) jadi dorang dah macam Iron Maiden pasal Uli Jon Roth cerita lagu2 Scorpions zaman dia dalam kumpulan tu lagi hebat dengan guna tiga guitarists.
2. Uli Jon Roth ingat sempat nak rehearsal, tapi tak sempat langsung masa di Jepun terus beraksi malam pertama di Nagoya.
Heran nya, drummer Scorpions Revisited dia pun tak beraksi malam pertama di Nagoya kerana urusan lain.

3. Jadi bayangkan show kedua di Tokyo baru Uli Jon Roth jumpa drummer dia untuk Scorpions Revisited, dan dia baru jumpa band members dia selepas berapa bulan tanpa rehearsal terus main di Nagoya dan terus malam kedua di Tokyo nak buat rakaman rasmi DVD di Nakano Sun Plaza tempat TOKYO TAPES dirakam 37 TAHUN DAHULU.
4. Tapi memang hebat rakaman ni, cam Uli cerita2 pasal kegunaan tiga gitarist, dan jugak rakaman ni nak abis Fly To The Rainbow, tali string gitar Uli putus, dan semua dirakam dalam video, dan text inlet dalam bungkusan ni Uli cerita apa jadi atas stage.
Aku tengok ok je masa instrumental dia main lagu Tokyo Dream Prelude tapi Uli cerita dia tak dengar apa2 waktu atas pentas tu..
dan jugak banyak solo2, instrumental2, contoh cam lagu Ive Got To Be Free dah jadi macam panjang 10 minit gitu dengan pusing2 jam dan instrumentals..

Memang hebat la segala improvisations dalam live konsert ni dan sound nya.
Tak kesah la korang minat muzik apa jenis pun, kalau korang minat muzik korang mesti teruja tengok dan dengar rakaman2 dari Uli Jon Roth Tokyo Tapes Revisited ni...
Ni album memang untuk music lovers gitu la...

Bahagian In Trance gitu, macam.. sayu sangat.. 
dan untuk sapa minat Scorpions, teringat zaman kecik sampai besar pasal terang2 Scorpions tak lari dari menghiburkan kita semua sejak kecik sampai besar dan masa hadapan.

Aku tak bedek, serious berbual. Beli OK. haha.

5. Semua gitaris dapat solo, dan penyanyi pun tiga orang termasuk Uli Jon Roth.
HEBAT SANGAT LA...

SILA BELI. Ni rakaman video paling unik dengan band takde rehearsal, tak jumpa berbulan, drummer baru join pagi rakaman, dengan apa2 segala masalah atas pentas..

tapi memang paling hebat.. memang betul2 rock abis...

Terngangah tengok video live ni, dan jugak bila aku baik jalan kaki, dalam bas, dalam train, tunggu bas, tunggu train,
aku pasang headphones aku dengar rakaman dua2 cd kat bungkusan ni, memang kagum. Happy sangat.

OK, Sila Beli.

Sila Beli boleh macam2 la maknanya hahaha...

I think the above photo was the moment Uli Jon Roth broke his guitar string near the end of Fly To The Rainbow which according to the text seems giving him lots of problems.

Its amazing all the footages of problems and the No Preparation that Uli face while recording this video was only highlighted in the text of the booklet that accompanies the package, but if you see the video all seems under under control and seems like everything is going so well.

Three lead guitars like Iron Maiden, chances for triple harmonies, lots of songs extensions, improvisations, jams and instrumentals.
Sails Of Charon goes to extended "UNLEDDED Kashmir" territory..
Usage of three vocalists and all the lead vocals including Uli have beautiful voices.
Kojono Tsuki is there somewhere LOL!

After the end of the concert, the credit roll is very classy and emotional. Seems there is a continuation of the instrumental of Rainbow Dream Prelude and Tokyo Dream Prelude called Nagoya Dream Prelude.

Buy this and the studio double cd Scorpions Revisited by Uli Jon Roth (for the maximum enjoyment the Japanese version if you got the money, and the Korean version which has the same amount of songs like the Japanese version but Korean ones are much cheaper, as for this release the European versions is incomplete I had shown this double cd before somewhere in this blog.).

I was wondering if Ritchie Blackmore had used Uli bassist, keyboardist and drummer instead for his 2016 Rainbow version. What will happen. It will be so much more teutonic.

Macam Kumpulan Wings jugak...
Kumpulan Anthem menyambut 30 Tahun pada tahun 2015.

Dan antara acara sambutan itu, salah satu persembahan live mereka di Club Citta Kawasaki Tokyo 28/11/2015 telah DIABADIKAN dalam bentuk cakera Blue-Ray. 
Jumlah isi padu cakera blue-ray'made in japan' ini lebih kurang 4 jam.

(cehhh Melayu aku, dahsyat siol pakai word2 bombastic entah sesuai ke tak haha, isi padu siot).

Aku rasa, terbitan video live ini tak keluar dalam bentuk dvd langsung, hanya dalam bentuk Blue-Ray sahaja.

OK, apa nak cakap? OK, paling penting, untuk aku yang tak pernah tengok Anthem main live, ini la peluang aku untuk tengok dalam video rasmi Anthem, Yukio Morikawa membawakan lagu2 semasa Eizo Sakamoto menjadi penyanyi utama Anthem terutama sewaktu zaman2 2000an pasal Yukio pun baru jugak masuk band ni balik untuk album Absolute World.
Kalau zaman Yukio sebelum ni akhir 80an hingga awal 90an tu memang ada videos la kot dia dendangkan live lagu2 zaman Eizo awal 80an. Memang ada pening sikit ni dua orang pusing2 kat kumpulan Anthem sebagai penyanyi.

Kalau sapa tak tahu, Anthem punya penyanyi ni antaranya dah dua kali bergilir2 Eizo dan Yukio silih berganti.. Eizo zaman 80an kemudian Yukio zaman akhir 80an hingga awal 90an..
kemudian lepas reformasi Anthem dan khidmat Graham Bonnet untuk satu album tahun 2000, Anthem kembali kepada Eizo dan lebih kurang dua tahun lepas, Eizo keluar dan Yukio masuk balik kumpulan ni.

Memang susah nak dapat maklumat kumpulan2 rock Jepun, tapi apa aku ada baca. Eizo sakit.

ni serupa jugak, drummer mereka Homma kemalangan, dan masih belum pulih penuh dan digantikan, MALAHAN pemain bass Anthem iaitu Naoto Shibata - ketua, tukang tulis lagu, dan tulang belakang kumpulan ni, sebagai mana Steve Harris ialah pemimpin kuku besi Iron Maiden, jugak menghidapi sakit barah perut tak silap tapi dia dah pulih rasanya.

Jadi memang seronok aku tengok Yukio mendendangkan lagu2 zaman Eizo terutama untuk lagu2 dari album Black Empire contohnya yang aku minat sangat album tu.

Sama hebat sama dahsyat kedua2 Yukio dan Eizo walau kalau aku nak mudahkan pada telinga aku ni Yukio lebih kepada hard rock, dan Eizo lebih kepada style heavy metal.

Naoto Shibata memang hebat abis kat blue-ray ini, gitaris Akio Shimizu pun dah lama beraksi untuk kumpulan Anthem dan memang terbaik dari segala segilah pada aku, aku minat dia ni haha, dan jugak drummer baru mereka Isamu Tamaru memang dahysat jugak.

Takde solo2 ok kat show ni, lagu demi lagu... semua nya 28 lagu. tak yah nak segmen solo la kan main je lagu demi lagu berapa banyak lagu sedap dorang ye tak, si Akio Shimizu setiap lagu pun gitar dia dah giler2 dan memang solo2 dia kat setiap lagu dah cukup best giler dah, dan Naoto Shibata biasalah, bass dia memang menonjol sejojol-jojolnya kat audio apa2 la rilisan Anthem. haha.

OK, dua lagu dimainkan style accoustik, lagu Walk Through The Night dan lagu Racin Rock yang lagu lama dari album pertama.
Menarik giler.

OK selain 28 lagu, blue raya ni jugak ada interview2 punya segmen, macam2 interview la,
tapi cam siot...
semua berbual Jepun, bahasa Jepun mana aku paham apa dorang berbual, 

banyak ok MASA ITO. Korang mesti tahu kan nama ni, dari zaman Rainbow, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, dan banyak la band2 rock, semua nama ni, dan dia memang banyak kat interview2 nye segmen.
Ada Burrrnnn nye majalah nye editor la apa la...

Memang rasa macam sial abis la, tengok dorang seronok cerita2 borak2 pasal apa entah, aku melopong tak paham satu benda pun...

ok ok, seluruh blue-ray ni, ada satu bahagian cakap Inggeris, apabila Chris Tsangarides (producer terkenal omputeh) berbual pasal Anthem pasal dia kan mula terbitkan album dorang zaman Bound TO Break.
Dia cakap Anthem - MAJESTIC. dan dia puji Naota Shibata, apa yang penting ialah kualiti lagu.

dan memang betul... Anthem ni konsisten dan rasanya macam makin bagus lak... haha...

What can I say? Possibly one of the best bands around.

This is my review and short opinion of the new Anthem blue-ray release Anthem 30+ to celebrate 30 years.

Unfortunately, not many people in the world are aware of them and follow their developments,
Fortunately, I got to discover their music, Lucky me.
and currently, and for a number of years now, they are my clear favourite Japanese rock band.

I am blowing up my money to get their releases. Damn fuckin expensive Japanese releases may I add.

I have yet to go crazy on them like I am into Iron Maiden, so no crazy alone backpacking to Japan to see them play live. And fuck, how am I going to get tickets to their shows?? LOL!!!

maybe next time, I may travel to Japan to see Anthem play, once Steve Harris announce Iron Maiden has stop. LOL!!!

OK, again another outstanding live release from Anthem. Only on Blue-Ray. 4 hours, 28 songs + Interviews.

AGAIN NO SUBTITLES!!! So you have Masa Ito among others yakking away in an alien language but,

Chris Tsangarides is on this interview segment, alas, we got something in English... LOL!!!

He says if he has only one word to describe Anthem. It will be Majestic. And he did praise Naoto Shibata and yes, he did say, Anthem is all about songs, quality songs.

No bass solos, No guitar solos...  28 songs is more than enough to hear Naoto Shibata's exploding bass and Akio Shimizu's exciting guitars and solos.

Yukio is back, and its great to hear and see him singing Eizo's songs from the 2000 years...

Black Empire? Great.
Walk Through The Night? Its accoustic, beautifully done, and Yukio again. Awesome.
They also did Racin Rock as an accoustic. Amazing

The whole show is awesome. Seems lots of funny things and stories is being told.
I HAVE NO FUCKIN IDEA WHAT WAS BEING SAID!!

ANTHEM - Blazing Faith Revisited : Deluxe Edition (Blue Ray disc + SHM cd)

This time I will have a short introduction in my Bastardized Malay language and then I will proceed to elaborate on this release using my Broken English language. 

Sejak berapa postings yang lepas.... - Dari rock Jerman (Powerwolf), ke rock Melayu (Wings), ke rock Omputeh (Paradise Lost) dan sekarang ke rock Jepun (Anthem).

Sapa baca blog ni tahu la aku ni minat kat Anthem.
Adalah menjadi cita2 Mat Jenin aku nak menengok Anthem beraksi.

Memang Yo-Yo-Oh la angan2 Mat Jenin aku ni, tapi begitu jugak ngan masa aku zaman budak2 sekolah dulu, selalu berangan, asyik berfantasi, KHAYAL, MENGELAMUN, cammana nak menengok Iron Maiden beraksi, otak fikir carik jalan ..hari menjadi bulan, bulan menjadi tahun, tahun menjadi dekad...gitu la siksa aku berangan nak rasa suasana Iron Maiden main live macammana. akhirnya aku dah dapat tengok dorang 10 kali kat suasana lain2, daerah lain2, kat 6 negara berlainan kat 3 continents benua berlain ngan ikat perut backpacking, berkorban macam2 dan sanggup buat kerja giler ni semua pasal ni la minat aku... Maiden.. so tolong la faham dan jangan lahar atau kutuk aku. Nak rasa korang tu lagi civilised, bagus, mulia dan beriman dari aku bila baca blog ni, sila simpan kebanggaan korang tu dalam hati je la. 
Dan aku harap dapat tengok dorang 2016 nanti, kalau dorang datang main semua negara ASEAN? dan jika mereka gunakan kapalterbang Ed Force One, apa sahaja berkemungkinan... Wahhhh suka la semua orang kat rantau ni..   
TETAPI.... Anthem ni lain sikit.... KONGAJAR BETUL!! Semua cakap Jepun gitu. Mana aku paham apa kebenda informasi dorang. BAGERO punya JEPUN!!!

Lagi satu band rock Jepun yang aku paling pening nak tahu informasi tapi memang tak tahu mana nak dapat khabar berita ialah band rok nama OUTRAGE. Seronok ok Thrash Metal si Outrage ni. Antara band rock Jepun yang aku suka la jugak sampai sekarang selain Anthem. Ada jugak la band2 rock Jepun lain yang aku minat, tapi sekarang dah ke laut. Aku kureng dah... selain dari memang susah giler untuk dapatkan informasi atau apa sahaja la tentang mereka2.

Apa pun, sebelum aku mula review ULASAN keluaran terbaru ANTHEM, bawah ni ada 2 video live dari 2006 / 2007 dari release DVD Anthem Immortal dan release Unbroken berapa tahun lepas, kasi thrill sikit,, dahulu2 dorang bawak lagu Wild Anthem yang actually ada kat Blazing Faith Revisited. Nanti la aku try rakam pakai henpon sikit nanti bila aku tengok kat tv. Korang jangan tanya aku cammana nak upload macam real nye kat youtube, aku tak tahu. HAHA. Tunggu la ada orang buat nanti. Mesti ada punye, peminat Anthem satu dunia.

Ni rakaman si Eizo Sakamoto masih ada. Sort-Dort la dekni, macam wayar kejap kena kejap tak kena, tapi terbaik ok...haha. "Midnight ShoutTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!" haha.
Lepas tu korang tengok Naoto Shibata ni memang dah macam Steve Harris la kat video ni...
Anyway, dia ketua Anthem, dia yang tukang tulis semua lagu... Kira dia semua la..
Aku sangat suka dia.. haha.
Dan lagi satu guitarist dia Akio Shimizu, dekni memang hebat hebat hebat giler Dahsyat la kan.
Drummer ni Homma. Dah tak sama Anthem lagi, apa aku tahu dia eksiden jalanraya ada cedera tak tahu la apa nasib dia sekarang.
Aku satu patah perkataan pun tak paham apa lagu ni kecuali korus tu sebenarnye Inggeris tapi dah jadi bahasa Merapu bila Anthem main live HAHA...
Aku tak paham la apa dorang nyanyi pun, tapi lagu ni contoh kenapa aku suka Anthem. 
Dan aku suka tengok audience dorang, very happening, huru-hara tapi tetap disiplin dan hormat.

Masih Eizo tapi drummer dah tukar sekarang nye.






Apa aku paham, orang yang upload video ni, dia tahu band Anthem dari aku. Cehhhh, maaf la kalau salah. Dia suruh aku upload betul2 pasal aku rakam pakai henfon je dan upload sikit je kasi tunjuk cammana bentuk rakaman video ni, dan aku pun bukan reti2 edit, lagipun aku puye versi Blue-Ray.
So orang ni, aku pun tak tahu dia dari negara mana, aku suspek dia dari Brazil, dia gi beli jugak release ni dan aku rasa dia pun dah jadi peminat Anthem jugak haha.

Kalau aku salah intepretasi apa aku cerita berlaku pasal tukang upload video ni, maaf la haha.

A new Anthem release to celebrate their 30th Years Anniversary. Anthem is a very nice rock band from Japan that gives my heart a flutter often with their style of heavy metal.
Not as much fluttering as Iron Maiden or Toto, but still a thunderous pumping flutter that thrills and excites me.

ANTHEM - BLAZING FAITH REVISITED.
I got the limited Edition Deluxe Edition because I want the second disc. I will go thru, sort of giving my review and opinion on this latest Anthem release which is actually released about a week ago in Japan. I got it quite fast, thank you Mr Postman from both countries.

Before I start, I want to make something clear. I PREFER EIZO SAKAMOTO to YUKIO MORIKAWA. I still wander what happened to Eizo now? Second time he left Anthem. Is his health ok? I read somewhere there is a problem?? I dont know, but now YUKIO is back.
One good thing is Anthem has these two superb singers to call back to sing for them anytime all the time, I hope.
EIZO and YUKIO have been doing a musical chair singing for Anthem, Both have now done TWO STINTS with Anthem each and both had shared a total of 16 studio albums. 

This year is Anthem's 30th Anniversary, so what they did with BLAZING FAITH REVISITED is playing in full, in a two prong live attack in different environments, firstly on their FIRST self-titled ANTHEM studio album from 1985, AND also their VERY LATEST ABSOLUTE WORLD studio album from last year 2014.

The tiny Anthem 30th Years Anniversary logo on both discs are very nice touch.
Japanese releases, made in Japan releases are simply the best....

So we have the self titled ANTHEM album from 1985, being played live in the studio with just Anthem and the video cameramen in the same big room playing the whole album live.
Take note only NAOTO SHIBATA was the only one from the original 1985 album. That was an album which Eizo sang, not Yukio. So on first listen to this 2015 LIVE VERSION I have to adjust a little bit on the voice LOL!!.
Even AKIO SHIMIZU is not around yet in Anthem in that time.
So this version is actually a fresh one with 3 members of Anthem not on the original studio album.

So 1st Album Live In The Studio of TEN SONGS, and its amazing what magic the three of the Anthem Musicians -  NAOTO SHIBATA (Bass), AKIO SHIMIZU (guitar) and new guy ISAMU TAMARU (drums) can create and its all here on this release.
It reminds of the Anthem Core DVD of some years back. Same concept.

This part starts with a short Making of Anthem, it shows the crew setting up the studio, the soundchecks. Its very short but very very interesting if you are into Anthem.

Total time is about 47 minutes for this part.
I dont think I need to explain the songs... All 10 songs are nice tremendous heavy songs.
Wild Anthem is a very popular song, but others like Lay Down, Warning Action, Turn Back To The Night, Rock N Roll Stars, Steeler, make it all songs... are all simply jaw-dropping delivery.
And the camera angles are nice too and all members are shown evenly in this segment.

NEXT PART...

All Four, Naoto, Yukio, Akio, Isamu played in last years studio album Absolute World.
So for this segment, ANTHEM played live at a VERY VERY TINY CLUB which is what I can imagined from looking at this segment called the La-Mama Club in front of 200 of their fans. So tight squeezed. So near the stage. It must have been amazing.

So Anthem played all 11 songs from this album. I hope I am not wrong, because I have not gotten the studio album yet. 
Total time about slightly less than an HOUR.
Again, another amazing footage if you are into Anthem.

NEXT TIME, I WILL TRY TO RECORD USING MY HANDPHONE WHILE WATCHING THIS DISC ON TV, SOME STUFFS FROM BOTH SEGMENTS AND UPLOAD ON YOUTUBE JUST TO GIVE AN IDEA.

There is a30th Anniversary Interview with both Naoto and Akio.

And the INTERVIEWER IS THE FAMOUS JAPANESE MUSIC MAN WHO IS HIGHLY HIGHLY REGARDED IT SEEMS - MASA ITO.
I often see his name on many rock and heavy metal albums, and on magazines, and seems he is such a very important man in the world of music.

AGAIN, A BIG BASTARD!! - NO SUBTITLE. And I dont understand even one bit what they are talking about. IT LOOKS SO INTERESTING AND INFORMATIVE. Very the discipline Japan style of talk. LOL!!
A useless 30 minutes part of the disc. HOW I WISH THERE IS A BLOODY SUBTITLE. BASTARDS!!!!

Anthem, I wont hesitate to say is one of the best (unknown outside Japan) bands there is right now in the heavy rock world and please dont make it like only Japanese or those who understand Japanese listen to them.
Again, on the house request... BASTARDS!!!!!

TO CONCLUDE THIS REVIEW.

THIS IS AN AMAZING, EXCELLENT, AAAAA++++++ RELEASE... If you are an Anthem fan, and definitely there is Anthem Fans all over the world who are really lost in getting information or news on this band and have to pay big money to get the official and original releases... This is again a very very excellent release where you get a live blue ray or dvd with two seperate live performance of two different albums with as usual great sound and footage.
Yes, I am very frustrated due to there is no subtitles on the interviews parts, but let me tell you, AN ANTHEM LIVE BLUE RAY/DVD/CD never never disappoint. 

ANTHEM IS A MOST AMAZING BAND. Long live Anthem.

And please get Eizo back.  OK OK, Yukio is fine. No problem LOL!!!.

One sided is the huge live poster of the four of them in action with the audience..

Before I forget, the one thing that distinguish the deluxe edition besides it being a Blue-Ray and not a normal DVD, this version has a second CD which is also a SHM-CD.
It carries the audio of the First album live in the studio.
I wish there was another CD for the Absolute World live versions too.
But still its really wonderful package.

I think this is one of the best cds ever if you have any liking of older Scorpions.
BUY IT PLEASE!!! Trust me.
I had reviewed it somewhere behind. Oh, get either a cheaper Korean or more expensive Japanese press instead of the European ones. An extra track to make it 20 songs.
