ESCAPADE time again.

When there is nothing good to say, maybe the best is dont say anything at all..

For those who like these type of Rock bands like Rob Zombie or Korn, it would be fantastic. Singapore Fort Canning 5/6 March 2014. I believe it would be two fun nights out for those who are into these bands.

Myself would like to see Newsted (ex Metallica) but unfortunately its ridiculous to fork out that type of money and wasting my time for just one band.

Though I have a friend who really urge me to get into Alter Bridge, but.. haha.

I believe Alter Bridge and Newsted will be on the 2nd night.

Another thing, I was curious about this Hellfest 2014 information below...  Now I seriously got worried haha.

I was imagining myself running happily and joyfully across the flower fields frolicking to and fro from the satanic inspired evil conjuring riot instigating metal bands (SNIGGER) stages to the pop rock bands singing MTV hits stages and going to anything in between...

checking out as much bands as possible that I had liked or shows interest in. 

And going for drinks and food and people-watching when no bands interest me.

and with this type of numbers, I dont think its going to be running joyfully in the fields, its more like squeezing about like in a can of sardines haha, more like Hari Raya eve squeezing about at Jalan TAR. Only replace the aunties with mostly European Metal Maniacs.

So I guess I have to choose wisely now and settle down at each stage for each bands timetable.

Ya I know I am currently day dreaming...and the numbers is bloated I guess as it involved individual day tickets buyers.

Kawan aku hantar mesej kat handphone aku, benda ni.. aku cam tak tahu nak cakap apa la, Paul Di Anno ni beb, macam segalanya datang balik gitu haha... Kenangan hidup ni haha.

"lump in the throat moment" kata orang puteh...suara mamat "jantan kaberet perangai ntahapahapa" dekni la banyak aku dengar dari zaman sekolah dulu...
walaupun dah tak handsome cam dulu...haha. Mulut puaka.

Paul Dianno ni kalau korang tak tahu, ialah yang nyanyi dekat album pertama dan album kedua kumpulan Iron Maiden. Jugak lagu2 cam Burning Ambition, Invasion, dan macam2 la...
Akhir 1970an sampai 1981 lepas tu untuk Iron Maiden melangkah jauh pasal cita2 dorang dan memang la zaman tu Steve Harris tu kontrol semua pasal memang dia punye band pun, jadi Paul Di Anno pun kena buang kerja pasal dia bukan penyanyi dan frontman yang sesuai untuk bawak Iron Maiden ke tahap seterusnya. Ngan dia punya perangai pun.
Sama jugak cam apa akhirnya jadi kat mendiang Clive Burr.
Aku gelak ada satu kat youtube ke kat mana tu, Paul Dianno panggil Nicko McBrain "YES MAN!!", lawak giler, memang mulut puaka, tapi tetap lawak giler, dan kalau difikirkan pun.............tak salah tu apa dia cakap, haha. Dia tak sebut nama Nicko, tapi satu dunia tahu dia tengah berbual pasal sapa.
tapi aku agree, Clive Burr ialah drummer terbaik Maiden. Walau Nicko best giler tapi Clive Burr takde orang cam dia.
Anyway Nicko umur dah berapa? aku boleh confirm, kalau Nicko dah tak boleh main cam sekarang, Maiden akan tutup kedai, aku tak rasa Steve Harris dan lain nak tukar drummer.

Banyak cerita pasal Paul Dianno ni.. tak tahu macammana nak mulakan..

- Mulut dia macam puaka terutama bila diatas pentas. Dan pasal orang tahu tu cara dia, lagi ada orang sengaja PROVOKE dia depan2 masa dia tengah perform.
Lagi dia stressed up atas pentas kena provoke, lagi dia cakap banyak yang patut tak dicakap.

- Dia hilang banyak sokongan pasal mulut puaka dia. I mean sokongan yang patut dia ada dalam genggaman sebagai seorang bekas ahli Iron Maiden. Sokongan padu yang patut dia dapat dari peminat2 Maiden satu dunia.

- Masalah dia pergi tipu pihak berkuasa tu sampai dia kena masuk jel. Kenapa dia nak tipu aku pun tak tahu... Tapi rasanya dia perlukan sumber kewangan..

Dan ni balik kepada hal kewangan jugak...

Kalau la ada orang yang betul2 nasihatkan dia, kalau dia ada kawan, yang mungkin paksa dia jangan jual hakmilik dia, jangan ambik duit sekelepuk tu, biar dapat sikit2 tapi tak berhenti dapat, kalau dapat sekelepuk akan habis!
aku rasa sekarang dia senang lenang, tiap2 bulan, tiap2 tahun cuma ambik duit je dari Iron Maiden...

Mungkin dia tak sangka, sapa sangka?? Iron Maiden sekarang sangat popular, takde liputan mass media commercial macam band rock macam Metallica, macam ACDC, macam Ozzy, tapi dorang tetap popular hanya kerana mulut ke mulut, generasi ke generasi. Hanya kerana brand name dorang,
Iron Maiden, household name dah..
Iron Maiden dalam sejarah lebih 30 tahun, tak pernah popular macam sekarang satu dunia, walaupun orang dah tak beli album, walaupun orang cuma curik download haram lagu dorang dari internet, tapi dorang dari segi perniagaan dan keuntungan untuk carik makan, sedang dalam graf tertinggi sepanjang kerjaya dorang.
Dorang punya konsert, bayangkan setiap peminat bawak family, kawan bawak kawan2, kawan2 kerja, untuk tengok the "greatest show on earth, musicians and live performance out of this world".
Lepas tu kawan2 tu, ahli2 keluarga tu, cerita2 kat orang lain "greatest live show and performance on earth", orang lain pun nak pergi...tu la kekuatan dorang.

aku kagum baca, guru besar sekolah2 di Amerika, tak pernah tengok dorang main, diajak kawan2 kerja pergi tengok, puji2 kat internet, bayangkan cikgu besar tu, dia pompuan, pergi sekolah cakap kat anak murid "murid2 apa korang dengar kat radio, kat MTV, semua sampah!!! ", nak tengok persembahan, sila pergi tengok band rock Iron Maiden main.
Budak2 tu balik rumah, cerita2, last2 Maiden datang main lagi, satu rumah pergi...aku rasa cam gitu la haha

Tapi balik pada Paul Dianno ni, walaupun mulut dia macam puaka, perangai dia, dan aku pun heran style dia bawak lagu sekarang dah tak macam dulu...

Tetapi aku tetap suka dia...

Aku rasa, dah berapa lama aku tak dengar first two albums, tak dengar Invasion, tak dengar Burning Ambition, 
tapi aku rasa, terutama dua album tu, liriks dia aku boleh ingat 80%? 90%? Segala masuk keluar lagu tu semua dalam kepala hotak...

Jadi pergi ke? should be la....


Aku rasa kalau dia bawak lagu STRANGE WORLD,  aku mesti nak nangis... SUKA AKU KAT LAGU NI....sedih giler...

London by walking in 3 hours ++ (jalan kaki sebanyak mungkin selama 3 jam kota London) PART ONE

Kota London ni sangat mahal giler. Tapi dah sampai UK nak tengok Iron Maiden, tengok band lain main kat Download Festival Donington Park, Derby dan tengok Bon Jovi main kat Villa Park Birmingham, jadi rugi rasanya kalau aku tak tengok Kota London ni walau ia cuma tempat persingghan dan transit ke bandar2 lain.

Kira beberapa stesen keretapi besar kat London macam Paddington, St Pancras, dan Euston aku kena pergi la pasal semua aku guna keretapi dorang gi Bandar Birmingham dan Derby, jadi dapat tengok la kawasan2 tu jalan2 kejap.
Separuh hari aku dah gunakan untuk pergi Stadium Emirates, pasal aku gatal miang nak jugak sentuh rumput tempat pemain2 Arsenal main walau bucu tepi je. (Walau herannye stadium Aston Villa yang aku dapat bebas diri kat tengah padang masa tengok Bon Jovi main).
Jadi aku ada dalam kurang 4 jam, aku dah la tak cukup tidur baru tengok Maiden main kat Frankfurt semalamnya, lepas tengok Maiden main kat Frankfurt, aku mandi, terus pergi airport, nak tidur kat airport aku takut terlajak so aku tahankan mata, pagi2 naik kapalterbang gi London. So penat, tapi gagahkan diri pasal aku ada dua misi sebelum bertolak pergi Derby naik keretapi, aku nak tengok sebanyak mungkin Kota London dan nak tengok sendiri ASHBURTON GROVE, walau aku miss Highbury.

Aku memang backpacking budget ikat perut, jadi aku dah plan aku cuma jalan kaki sahaja merata London, siap pakai selipar Jepun untuk keselesaan. Aku main redah aje kota London tu jadi ni apa aku dapat selama3 jam lebih.

1. I started from Victoria Train Station, which is quite near to Buckingham Palace.

2. So ok, this is Buckingham Palace..The Queen... Not my most favourite Queen in England, because my favourite Queen is always Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN indeed.

2. At Buckingham Palace you can see a huge park called Green Park, I cut across it, and suddenly... PICCADILLY area... So you can see the Japanese Nippon Flag. Their embassy. 

3. So I just walk along PICCADILLY and suddenly....

Piccadily Circus with all the neons huge signage on all the buildings surrounding it.

ok, lots of Policemen.

It was the Queen's , I mean Queen Elizabeth 60 years anniversary celebrations then...

RASA MEMANG JAKUN SANGAT.

3. So I see a lot of roads leading away from the circus, so I got confused, and lost 

So I just choose one road. Shaftesbury Avenue or something.

Oh, I made a good choice. I came across what I guess is called the West London area that is full of live Theatres, Culture, the Arts, the Broadways, the Performing Arts and whatever you call that.

There is the London Theater. THIS IS THE NEWS NOW isn't it? Some parts of the ceilings collapsed or dropped on the audience.

4. And I walk and I walk and I walk...and continue walking and marvelling at all the sights.

Maiden's Christmas Card 2013 design and Fanclub magazine number 97

The Iron Maiden Christmas Card for 2013 and fanclub magazine number 97 arrived two days ago.

I really like the Maiden's xmas card design for this year,
Its very pretty.
Seventh Son of A Seventh Son album cover with a Festive Season upgrade with Santa Claus and everything and its snowing....
and the word play based on Moonchild's intro.

I don't really understand Steve Harris message.
"looks like rain dear", maybe its raining when they were signing the card? haha.

The Magazine is as usual SUPERB!!. Lots of articles, interviews and photos about the band, the crew, all the behind the scene infos, facts and thingys and their fans.
Seems its really getting more and more a "FAN" magazine. Its interesting and wonderful to read about Maiden fans from all over the world and their adventures, experiences and everything else.

I like to read all these trivias information..

Interview with another crew member who is also a member of the opening band Voodoo Six.
Caught them twice in Germany opening for Maiden, not exactly my cup of tea from first hearing.
But they are good live, and I kind of enjoy their short set.
Maiden have recently keep getting their families and friends bands to warm up for them.
I would want to see Adrian Smith's son band next haha.

On every edition of the magazine, I always look forward to the "from the rear, Nicko McBrain in action" photo. Ogling and scrutinizing everything that's in the photo HAHAHA. ooo there's Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson in the picture too.

Low...One day I think he's going to sit on the floor...hahahaha...
