talk about maiden in bilbao few hrs ago & bon jovi (updated 28/5/2013 evening)

I didnt sleep last night, patiently waiting for the Bilbao Spain show to start, I guess possibly thousands of fans all over the world were monitoring all sources of news in the internet, waiting for whatever reports or updates trickling in from Bilbao.
But it was fun as a "silent reader" reading all the discussions and jokes in the Maiden forum as the night progresses in Bilbao, especially with all the false news and rumours being spread from "jokers" all around the world.

The wonders of internet age never fails to amaze.
Even as the show was progressing,
opening song Moonchild's video was already shared by a Brazil fan website, and Adrian Smith's solo is something else. I like it, and it keeps up with his Aces High solo on the first show of 2009 SBIT tour in Croatia was it? And also second show of FF tour in Singapore 2011 on the song Coming Home.

Unfortunately, I think they play it safe (or lazy??) with the setlist, a setlist to please the masses and casual listeners.
No change from 2012, therefore a lot of the original Maiden England gems like Infinite Dreams, Still Life, even Killers will not be played maybe ever as time is really running out for Maiden's future I guess, especially as its only fair they play as many new songs as possible on the next studio album tour.

** UPDATED 28/5/2013 (evening)
I really really like this fan's video from the Opening Night show. It got all the essence for me. The anticipation and excitment from the beginning of Doctor Doctor to the intro, the stage covers, the lightings and especially the movement of band. Brilliant!! and it will only get better after they improve the "CHOREOGRAPHY"  every night haha.
I cannot get my eyes of Adrian Smith (and Dave). 7:28 AHH!!!
I guess I know where I will try to squeeze my way thru to stand... (as always hahaha).

Moving on,
I do try to read up on fans reaction on the internet on the spat between Jon and Ritchie. I think its more serious than anyone thinks, and the losers are the fans, and they have such wide array of fans from all ages and taste.
For myself, I am worrying because I still havent get my ticket to see them, I mean the 3 left - TT, DB & JBJ. Now that would be a disaster. I guess the tickets are only mailed out in the last minute to reduce chances of reselling and touting.

Anyway I like this photo of them at Norway, I think this is Bergen. Seems like a nice place and what a stage haha. Ooo and I've been checking out their setlists for every show, and it kick ass, no matter what changes they made nightly. Most important seems they play Dry Country each night and it would really made me happy to see them play this song.

Moving further on..., with the possibility of me backpacking to catch Maiden in Europe next week is still on as of now, I did made some plans.
I dont know what to expect at Donington, Download Festival. I just hope all goes well and safe, and I do hope for no rain. That will be a damper especially for me as I am really going to Donington Park blind and alone, I will certainly be lost in a slippery muddy huge field of 80,000 or more? haha.

But I did a timetable based on the timings already released.
Seems this is a festival where you really have to choose what bands you want to see as all stages are clashing with each other.
I was looking forward to see Thunder, but they play around the same time as Motorhead, I find it funny two British bands clashing when I am there to more or less see British bands at their biggest most prestigious rock festival. (Note: when Maiden plays, the second stage is shut down, so maybe its for a dvd and to avoid any sound leakage? hopefully).
Anyway here it is, I made my choice, I guess there will be over a hundred bands on 5 stages on 3 days. But I will gamble on some of these unfamiliar bands, as I think I will have the best time watching them..

p.s
UP THE IRONS, no matter how sometimes I think they let down their fans, and no matter how I think sometimes how they and ,Steve Harris especially, made their choice of songs for Maiden England 2012/2013.

For me, still keeping to the Maiden England theme that we all are familiar, and still being as close as possible to their current selection which is a bit similar to SBIT tour, and ensuring enough pop hits played for the casual listeners,
I would go for these

1) Moonchild
2) Can I Play With Madness
3) Prisoner
4) HOLY SMOKE - a short fast number to include a Janick period
5) INFINITE DREAMS - no brainer
6) Tnotb
7) Phantom of the Opera
8) STILL LIFE - take the place of Trooper
9) STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND - take the place of Wasted Years
10) Ssoass
11) Clairvoyant
12) talk about Clive Burr & Run To The Hills
13) Fear Of The Dark
14) Iron Maiden

15) Aces High
16) Evil that men do
17) Running Free

2358hrs, ATSS, Trooper, Wasted Years - Out
the 4 capital letters songs come in.

p.p.s and if they bring Maiden England tour to South East Asia early 2014,
Malaysia & Singapore will have a 2nd encore of Alexander The Great, haha and it will be the best tourism advertisement for both countries ever in the eyes of the world, and best of all its free.

concerto de aranjuez & sandiwara melayu di radio

Masa aku kecik2 dulu, tv pun hitam putih, dan tak heran kalau zaman tu banyak rumah takde tv pun,  memang ramai orang untuk hiburan dan teman sepanjang hari terdedah kat program2 kat radio, jadi dengarlah drama, sandiwara, cerita2 di radio.
Jadi kalau drama sandiwara radio ni, kita cuma dengar je kan, so impact dia lain ngan zaman skarang semua orang tengok drama kat tv. Anyway skarang kat tv3 time 7 gitu ada drama apa tu, jahat nak mampos mak ngan anak dia eh bully the step daughter. K'siao sey minah preknen kena bully tu, kalau aku keluar dari rumah dah atau repot polis, tapi dah director ngan penulis skrip drama tu sadist, so kena la si selenger tu duk kat rumah tu jugak haha, kena paksa makan nasik ngan air jarang. haha. Pandai berlakon dorang, memang real, zalim sampai termuncung2 bibir gitu - evil abis. Aku tak exactly follow the story dah la aku tengok bila off days je, cuma aku jengok2 je la kat tv bila time part wicked nenek2 kebayan tu je haha. Tapi its a reflection of real life. Last episod mesti golek2 cam nyonya mansor eh dorang mintak maaf kat heroin tu.

Then aku time full-time NS, aku kenal satu budak melayu ni yang exposure dan minat dia kat muzik memang luas. So dia pasang satu lagu ni, so aku tanya eh " ni lagu sandiwara radio la ".
Maklum aku tongong.
So dia cakap ni " Concerto de Aranjuez ". Terbelit lidah nak paham apa dia sebut. Aku tak lupa nama dia sebut ni , sampai skarang nama ni freeze-framed kat kepala hotak aku.

- ciptaan satu pemuzik Sepanyol nama Rodrigo. Ditulis akhir 1930an gitu.

Kalau korang tak pernah tengok, rasanya korang mesti enjoy...

Time 08:00 giler dahsyat semua instruments masuk sama2.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6qxii_XZyQ ni youtube link dia.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6qxii_XZyQ

ok cakap pasal gitaris, kan ada buku biography Yngwie Malmsteen or something like that kan?
Tapi apa aku tahu e-book lagi best ialah buku UNAUTHORISED biography Malmsteen pasal tu cerita semua. In English belum ada cetakan.

Yang buat aku excited, Joe Lynn Turner tukang tulis intro buku ni ke hapa ntah. Giler ke hapa dorang dua?
Satu dah kutuk2 Odyssey sebagai album paling puaka dia pernah buat, lagi satu dah main belakang tulis intro unauthorised biography haha.
Apa pun aku suka Odyssey, masa first time RISING FORCE main kat Spore, selain lagu I am a Viking, aku rasa lagu Dreaming pun sama dah jadi cam choir kat peminat2 yang hadir haha.
Tapi Odyssey ni lagu banyak gerek2. Riot In The Dungeon, title je dah buat excited dah.

Bola, Gigit Jari & DEATH DEALER

Cakap pasal bola kejap,
kelmarin, hari ahad aku kerja 3rd shift, tak tenteram langsung jiwa...kejap2 cek BBC nye live internet reports, giler betul...
Aku yang jenis optimistik pun memang cuak pasal bulan tiga dah ketinggalan TUJUH points, tapi 10 game terakhir WWWWDWDWWW tak silap aku la...
Kira alrite la, mula musim berterabur teruk, abis dapat 4th place potong si team ayam pondan tu, dalam masa yang sama tengok betapa gembira si GREEDY BADGER - LYING DUTCHMAN tu ngan piala dia... Siot betul haha. Kalau si malaon ni masih stay, aku rasa la, mungkin tangga kedua kot? cehhh... tapi takpelah, kumbang bukan seekor.

Ni satu jam aku masuk youtube carik rakaman2 peminat tentang suasana game kelmarin(curam giler eh stadium St James Park eh? dah la away fans kena letak paling atas ),
, memang kecoh la, tapi aku suka tengok yang Spurs nye peminat dengar khabar angin tu, giler bastard la sapa yang mula2 sebar khabar angin tu, KESIAN sey satu stadium penuh kegembiraan, padahal...kena bubble.......muahahahahahaha.
ooo kkk satu nota yang mungkin menarik untuk peminat bola, rupanya stadium White Hart Lane handphone signal memang takde/tak kuat langsung..  tu ah kecoh tu.
Apa pun, happy ST. TOTTERINHAM DAY, aku ingat tahun ni tak sambut.

ok ok,  cakap pasal shift kerja jugak...

Tu hari lepas aku tengok Wings Rockestra kat Istana Budaya tu masa keluar tu ada seorang saudara ni sedang sebarkan pamplet. Wahh LOUDNESS nak main kat KL sey..
So lekas2 keluarkan kalender tengok date- Ala aku kerja la hari tu... Aku dah harapkan Long Weekend Off. Gigit jari je la nak nengok LOUDNESS kat KL, pasal rasanya happening kot kalo crowd KL untuk Loudness, Loudness ngan peminat rock melayu tak boleh dipisahkan.

Then AEROSMITH, aku betul sangat nak pergi... cek rota ulang2 tau, penuh harapan,, ala kerja petang... gigit jari lagi....  Aku serious nak tengok dorang main Toys In The Attic la...cammana nye best lagu tu kalo tengok live. Kalo ada Crying, mau aku crying, kalo ada Angel? hah...ni apa tu komik Gayour tu? Bersama Selamanya? hah...
OOoo cakap pasal Aerosmith, tu hari ada keluar interview suratkhabar Singapore ngan salah satu anggota RUN DMC, menarik soal jawab nye, nanti la lain kali aku share.

SEARCH main accoustic, aku tengok iklan selalu jugak keluar kat sokkabar melayu Singapore, aku cek jugak rota...ok ok kerja malam ke petang, burn la kot kecuali aku do something drastic haha.

TETAPI, walaubagaimanapun, dalam semua gigit jari ni,
ada satu something cheer me up...
Death Dealer nak release cd...
Korang pernah dengar Angels Of Babylon? OK la aku dengar sekali dua album dia. Tapi takde respon pasaran kot.
So Death Dealer ni Rhino ngan Ross The Boss pertama kali main dalam album sama2, pasal dua2 berlainan zaman Manowar.
Apa aku tahu projek ni bila dorang tanya Ross The Boss nak join ke tak nak, dia tanya sapa pilihan lagi satu? Dorang cakap KK Downing, tapi KK dah bersara, jadi Ross The Boss cam rasa besar hati terus dia join, ni apa aku baca kat mana ntah
So ni jugak aku nak dengar Ross The Boss share gitar karen duties ngan lagi satu orang main metal.
GILER aku dengar samples kat internet dan tengok youtube.
- Penyanyi dia rock abis suara high pitch pekik2..
- Tiga lagu yang disample kat website dorang main power metal gitu, dan trashy  siak. Sungguh ku tak sangka... lalu aku pun rasa ni memang tentu best giler maka, tak melengah2, aku pun mengorder advance sebijik.

My only hope is that the Ross The Boss band remains intact and will follow up with a 3rd cd.
Both their two cds are worth getting if you kind of like Manowar and smilar music.
I like Ross The Boss (band) style and music, a comfort, as I dont understand what Manowar is releasing these past few years. It had comes to a stage when I dont bother to read about Manowar anymore, which is sad.

ok after I pre-ordered, I got the following email.

WE PUT TOGETHER A BAND THAT WE, OURSELVES, AS FANS OF GREAT HEAVY METAL WOULD WANT TO LISTEN TO, AND THE RESULT WAS THE CREATION OF DEATH DEALER. The one song they attached on the email is called Death Dealer.
Fast and heavy, high pitched screamings, solos, 5 mins plus.
it is on repeat mode this song... I think its 5th time I am listening, and I like it more everytime...

I think Death Dealer incoming cd is going to be something I am going to really enjoylistening.

album Panduan Hidup- Kumpulan Al Mizan 1979 LP YOUTUBEDED

Korang, amacam??

I'll say it again, for me the Big Three of Malay-language nasyid groups remain Hidayah, Al Jawaher and Al Mizan who were big from the late 70s to the early 80s in Singapore and also in Malaysia I guess. (These groups sings mostly religious theme songs, songs encouraging good deeds and what will be waiting for the evil ones....gulp..). I believe their songs are timeless.
Personally among those three, I like Hidayah songs and how they sound most -Terbakar beb lagu2 Hidayah.
Among the more newer generation groups, I still think Saujana's first album is very interesting and gives me goosebumps listening to it.

ni piring hitam dari tahun 1979, 12 lagu. Aku rasa korang mesti quite familiar ngan satu dua lagu ni dari album ni, of course Al Mizan ngan penyanyi utama dorang Faridah M Amin dulu dan sampai skarang paling famous lagu Junjungan Mulia. Gempak giler lagu tu. Malay song at its best.

Panduan Hidup ok.
Also Muhammad Rasullallah, Pahlawan, Jasa Ibu Bapa etc. etc. etc.
Pahlawan is a cover version from an older song I guess, which makes it a very unusual and interesting end to the album.
Album ni ada lagu pasal Nabi Noh nye kesah banjir jugak, which is quite rare la kira.
As usual korang dapat some slow songs, and some faster songs, in the sacchirine-sweet way of Al Mizan's style.

As usual semua lagu korang gi...

(kalau takde maknanya aku belum upload, tapi ada la kot lagi satu jam semua nye)

Giraffe Zirafah - Lucy,Roni,Growie - 2013 photos

Zirafah, Giraffe.

Look at me, look at me...

Paling tinggi, paling cute, lidah paling panjang,
sopan santun je aku nengok dorang ni, tapi part orang kasi makan ada gelojoh sikit,
aku suka antenna dua kat kepala dorang...Alien, nanoo, nanoo.

Pasal....nanti dorang datang dekat2 ngan korang
dan korang dah nak sama tinggi ngan dorang kat sesi ni...

So you get to know there are 9 sub-species of giraffes, and though they are tallest in the world, and have the longest necks but the number of bones in a giraffe's neck is similar to a human, except the giraffe's is greatly enlarged.

So I took some close-up photos of Lucy & Roni ( the two female Angolan giraffes ) and Growie (the Baringo male ).
Dont ask me who is who because I still dont get it yet, maybe the next visit I can pick each one by name. Lucy is the one who is shy and run-away from people haha, this should be correct.

Ooo, I took the video of the starting of the session and the feeding session itself,  click here ->
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYWDw1ZucHk

and I like it because of the information given out about these 2 ladies and a gentleman. And yes they looks very gentle, but I think their kick is deathly when they are in danger.

So the lion is showing of his tounge too...
Its great when the animals look towards your direction and so you can take photos of their faces.

Five things to say

posting hentam kromo...

pasal 1.bootlegging, 2.Portdy nye soalan, 3.TERBAIK- artikel CNN pasal rakaman video handphone dimasa tengok show, 4.istana budaya, 5.Jeff Hanneman

Go!

(1)

Live recordings peminat semua bentuk audio.
Tapi ni masing2 la kan, aku pun suka pergi tengok kat youtube, peminat2 share rakaman handphone dorang kat konsert2 dorang pergi..
Tapi aku, selain dari aku pakai handphone cap itik, aku pun tak sanggup nak pegang, dan jugak aku tahu kualiti konfem ke laut.

(2)
Aku tengok band live, aku terutama zaman ni aku akan rakam, tapi aku takkan bootleg live show Iron Maiden, pasal ni la satu2nye band aku akan "goes fuckin mental" especially bila aku sorang2 dan takde orang kenal sekeliling aku haha. MALU Sey.
Untuk Portdy
1) dulu aku pakai minidisc untuk dengar muzik, pasal minidisc sound paling terbaik, jadi aku akan rakam bootleg guna minidisc sambung mic. External mic.

Sekarang aku pakai gadget lain tapi tak yah la aku tunjuk, gadget cap itik. Malu. Tapi pasal aku banyak prektis jadi mungkin ada la nampak kebaikkan sikit haha.

ok,
- aku selagi tu show ada tiket diri, of course aku diri, aku tak reti tengok rock band duduk, tapi kadang2 tempat show tu sendiri ada limitations dia tak boleh diri.
TAPI aku takkan pasal aku datang nak tengok band kegemaraan aku ngan clear, aku tetap usaha nak gi depan.
- aku tak diri ngan orang mulut bising, dan paling utama mulut lucah. Pasal it spoil everything.
- Practise a lot. Kau akan tahu sendiri apa nak buat lain kali.
- Its a passionate hobby, rakam bootleg sendiri band2 kegemaraan korang main.
Since bentuk audio, tak la ganggu korang nak horray2 atau penat tangan atau ganggu orang lain.

(3)
Ni rencana CNN...MAY 2nd 2013.pasal satu band ni buat sesuatu tentang peminat yang pergi tengok show dorang tapi sibuk rakam ngan Handphone dan tak fokus kat persembahan dorang sebenarnya.
Ada jugak cerita pasal member Pink Floyd buat persembahan The Wall, siap ngan "kapalterbang jatuh dari langit" tapi penonton bukan tengok dari mata sendiri pentas tu, tapi tengok dari screen kaca handphone mereka.
Ada time sila baca....

Editor's note: Each week in "Apparently This Matters," CNN's Jarrett Bellini applies his warped sensibilities to trending topics in social media and random items of interest on the Web.
(CNN) -- "Wow! I totally just watched the awesome cell phone video you shot at that concert!"
Said nobody ever.
Yet, at some point, we've all done it.
The band is on stage. The phone is in your pocket. And, lest you actually just dance and enjoy yourself and maybe scan the floor for dropped cash, you decide, instead, to shoot three minutes of unlistenable pixel puke.
\
"Apparently This Matters" Is Jarrett Bellini's weekly (and somewhat random) look at social-media trends.
Because you can.
Perhaps you upload the blurry mess to Facebook or YouTube, but in the end, it ultimately just gets filed deep within your camera roll with the pointless images of some overpriced, mediocre meal you ate from a trendy new food truck.
For, at the time, that, too, seemed worth documenting.
"Look, Sarah! Mexican-Chinese-Ethiopian-Pittsburgh fusion!"
It's difficult to explain just why we do it -- why having a very basic camera in our pocket compels us to shoot photos and videos of live music that, deep down, we know we'll never look at.
Part of it might be the delusional notion of preserving a memory, but it's probably more about showing everyone in social media that you're actually out of your house doing something culturally important. As opposed to staying in and slathering your body with ranch dressing.
Once again, I believe I've shared too much.
But for exploring your city and having a true, cultural experience, live music counts. Going to Home Depot doesn't.
Otherwise, we'd all be tweeting arrogant selfies next to lumber.
"Must be nice to be Gary. Always hanging around wood."
Of course, cell phones annoyingly blocking your view at concerts is nothing new, and even complaining about them (like I am here) has grown rather cliché. Yet, it seems to be getting worse.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs kindly ask: PUT THAT S--- AWAY.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs kindly ask: PUT THAT S--- AWAY.
So, recently, the indie rock band the Yeah Yeah Yeahs decided to try something. They posted a sign:
"PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW THROUGH A SCREEN ON YOUR SMART DEVICE/CAMERA. PUT THAT S--- AWAY as a courtesy to the person behind you and to Nick, Karen and Brian. MUCH LOVE AND MANY THANKS! YEAH YEAH YEAHS"
This all came out a couple of weeks ago when a picture of their sign from New York's Webster Hall was tweeted by Spin magazine, and it quickly got passed around the Internet. The band's sentiments seemed to strike a nerve.
But never mind the annoyance of having to look at the stage through a sea of bright, glaring viewfinders. Even more than that, it's all just become sort of sad. We're disconnected from the music.
The real eye-opener for me was last year, when I saw Roger Waters perform "The Wall."
It was incredible. This show had explosions. And shiny things. And planes falling from the sky. It was complete sensory overload, and when I got home, I decided my life needed more lasers.
Are there any cell phone users in the theater tonight? Get them up against the wall!
Are there any cell phone users in the theater tonight? Get them up against the wall!
I considered attaching some to my dog. In fact, I'm still thinking about it.
"The Wall" was simply amazing. Yet, so many people missed the entire show.
And they were literally right there.
Amidst all the operatic madness of the classic Pink Floyd double album, everywhere I looked, people were watching it through 3 inches of glass on their phones. One of the greatest rock spectacles ever was directly in front of them, yet they actually made the conscious decision to have a worse visual experience.
If "The Wall" was fine dining, it would be like ordering a beautiful steak and then asking the server to put it down his pants for five minutes.
"Look, just run around the building a few times, do some burpees and bring it back."
But, for all those people at the Roger Waters show, I guess it just seemed like the right thing to do at the time.
However, I assure you it wasn't.
So, as an experiment, I want you to pick up your phone, scroll through your photos and videos, and stop when you get to something you shot at a concert.
Cell phone photo taken at Wanee Festival: Somewhere in there is a band.
Cell phone photo taken at Wanee Festival: Somewhere in there is a band.
Then ask yourself this: Did I actually pay to see Creed?
And if the answer is yes, go jump into a river.
Otherwise, take a moment and really think about that photo. Or that video.
Was it worth annoying everyone else behind you? Has it made your life better? Will you ever look at it again?
If you've answered "yes" to any of these questions, please join the Creed fans somewhere downstream. Your services are no longer needed.
Interestingly, though, on a positive note, last weekend I went to Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Florida, for a weekend of Allman Brothers and Widespread Panic and several other bands that rule your face.
Deep within the trees among the masses of people, getting a cell phone signal strong enough to utilize the interwebs was next to impossible. Which may explain why I saw so few people actually using their phones to begin with.
And as the night sky darkened, I was struck by the absence of little glowing viewfinders. People were just enjoying the music.
Widespread Panic\'s John Bell at Wanee Festival: This was taken up close with a professional camera.
Widespread Panic's John Bell at Wanee Festival: This was taken up close with a professional camera.
Part of that is a reflection of the overall music-first vibe at Wanee Festival, But it still proves that it's entirely possible to be a part of the live music experience without having to document it in some way.
Of course, if you have a quality camera and can get up close, there's definitely an art in concert photography. And people certainly appreciate that.
But for everyone else, let's all agree to give it a rest. Do it for you. Just experience the music, take it in, and we'll talk about our favorite moments over late-night food.
I know a great place for Mexican-Chinese-Ethiopian-Pittsburgh fusion.

(4)

OK, tu hari aku pertama kali gi Istana Budaya.
Sebelum mula, semua hadirin diminta berdiri hormat menyanyikan Negara Ku.
Tempat ni memang ada protokol.
Jadi kita ikut je la apa arahan. Dan aku macam rasa enjoy lak, pasal takde langsung distraction, sapa2 nak rakam handphone video.
I mean this is nothing new, kat Singapore, Esplanade pun sama, tak boleh rakam video cuma dorang tak pakai Laser je la, usher sound je. Practise and observations makes perfect.
Anyway, kalau korang suka rakam band kegemaraan korang live, korang automatic akan observant mana lokasi best untuk rakam haha. So lain kali....

Ada satu aku tengok Maiden kat Melbourne Hisense Arena intimate show, aku tak tahu apa jadi hari tu sampai Security strict giler hari itu. Kamera point and shoot semua sangkut kat entry, talipinggan pun kena cek dan kena surrender kalau security tak berkenan.
Aku macam heran, aku tak tahu la apa jadi at that specific show....
Tapi aku lepas, pasal aku masuk time First To The Barrier haha.
Tapi ada satu peminat Maiden Malaysia sangkut kan? haha. Kesian datang jauh2.

So macam aku cakap ni masing2, aku pernah tengok Dream Theater main kat Indoor Stadium, tu paling tak boleh accept, aku tengok orang office attire pun kena swipe dorang punya long sleeve shirts la beb, haha. Tapi tu la tugas security dan kena tengok keadaan dan mood.

(5)
ok lastly,
SLAYER!SLAYER!SLAYER!SLAYER!SLAYER!!

Semua ada nak cakap sesuatu pasal Slayer.
contoh,
majalah Terrorizer cakap "No Slayer, NO Terrorizer".

Slayer ni kalau dorang empat orang tu...sapa? Araya/KerryKing/JeffHaneman/DaveLombardo.
dorang ni macam Beatles la, The Fabulous Four.

Untuk peminat rantau ni, rasanya Singapore Expo berapa tahun lepas tu la jadi kenangan tengok ni empat main, walau dua lagu tak main dalam setlist malam tu pasal tak lepas censorship board.
Tu memang tak dilupakan la.

Bila aku tengok dorang lagi sekali, Jeff dah sakit, si mamat Exodus, Holt tu dah ambik tempat dia.

Tapi...aku jugak pernah baca
" Slayer is at its best when they are standing still".

Cuma aku bukan peminat besar dorang, cuma aku cam heran waktu Jeff sakit tu ada ke members lain gi melawat2 dia ke hapa ke, nampak cam semua guna manager je..
tu ah Dave Lombardo pun konflik cam2 sekarang ngan lagi dua tu..
Macam wasted lak bagi peminat2 hardcore dorang.

Tapi takde band cam mereka la, "Mat Rock Omputeh" semua giler babi tengok Slayer, aku dah pegang kepala, Boot kasut dah terbang cam mana tu? aku dah la pegang kepala jangan la kena tendang ke apa ke haha, dorang dah la lagi besar lagi kuat, last2 gi la tempat selamat sikit haha.
Takde band cam mereka.
Jeff dah mati, Dave Lombardo lak dah cakap macam2 dah...
Wasted betul.
Slayer!Slayer!Slayer!Slayer!Slayer!Slayer!!

bootleg Wings Rockestra 30/4/2013 Istana Budaya youtubed and " I missed the bus".

Aloha..~

saje2 je aku upload bootleg seluruh persembahan malam keempat dan terakhir Wings Rockestra @ Istana Budaya with Simfoni Orkestra Kebangsaan 30.04.2013.
- Ulasan review aku kat posting sebelum ini..

Cam biasa, disclaimerni aku nye bootleg untuk hiburan peribadi aku je, untuk telinga aku je, tapi just in case kalau sapa nak dengar  so aku taruk je dalam youtube.
DON'T expect wonders,
but I think with a earphone or headphone especially, you can get the gist of why I think this Wings Rockestra 2013 live is awesome especially with the so called "80% of the setlist are rare songs" being played.
Wings + a 42 piece orchestra + 2 guests guitarist-greats makes an awesome potent.
Show all seater, so aku takde boleh nak manoeuvre mana2 untuk kurangkan apa2 sound dekat ngan mic seminima yang boleh, kalau diri lain la kan.. Terima je la apa aku boleh bootleg, warts and all. though I think I realised how much I love the song "HARAPAN" . ENJOY!!.

Sampai skarang, aku kalau tertinggal bas, aku masih boleh humm lagu ni..
Apa pun lagi sekali ulang Roadrunner label nye iklan kat dalam kaset2 dorang zaman dulu " Drugs Are No Fun, Drugs endanger the life and happiness of millions...bla bla bla ".

wings rockestra @ Istana Budaya KL, 30 April 2013

Untuk umpteenth time, aku nak cerita pasal gi tengok kumpulan Wings main.
Sapa tengok blog ni tahu la aku setiap kali kesempatan, baik Singapore, JB, KL, Wings kalau main full-show aku akan gi tengok, aku suka, there's something likeable and enjoyable when Awie/Joe/Eddie/Black are on stage together.

Tapi ni kali unik sikit pasal pertama kali baru aku tengok Wings main kat Istana Budaya KL ngan Orkestra Simfoni Kebangsaan.
Kalau korang nak bertapak boleh la, keluar stesen belok kiri jalan je terus, tapi nak kena seberang 'main road' kalau waktu peak hr leceh sikit, kalau korang naik teksi tambang ok la kalau tak jam 4-5RM gitu.
Aku naik kat bus-stand seberang jalan dari LRT yang stesen bas nak gi Pahang tu semua, lebih sikit pasal apek teksi nak kena U-turn.

OK, Wings Rockestra with 42 piece Orkestra Simfoni Kebangsaan + guests.
30 April 2013 , aku pergi malam terakhir, ni pun ambik cuti ni nak tengok dorang..

Ignoring the intro music played, which is similar to the one used before...
this is the Setlist

1. Amok
2. Bujang Senang
3. Pengabdian Ku Kekasih
4. Suara Kita
5. Hikayat Penuh "Makes me smile ear to ear" Ranjau.
6. Anugerah
7. Sayap Ilusi
8. Alam Barzakh
9. Awang Trasher
10. Misteri Mimpi Syakila
---Ian Antono and Hillary Ang joins in---
11. Ilusi Intonasi (1st Joe, 2nd Ian Antono, 3rd Hillary)
12. Dari Tuhan (1st Joe & Hilary, 2nd Ian Antono )
13. Ameringo (1st Ian Antono, 2nd Hillary, 3rd Joe)
14. Julang Timur Tengah (1st Ian Antono, 2nd Hillary, 3rd Joe)
---Ian Antono exits---
15. Taman Rashidah Utama (Hillary accoustic)
16. Ranjang Mawar
17. Kota Kemusnahan
18. Harapan
---
19. Opera Hidup
20. Sejati

- From where I was seating, the sound was awesome from the start.
- Musim Undi, Awie nye stage banters ada unsur pasal undi dan Bob Lokman join PAS moments.
- Suara Kita, I am so happy this song is included. I had always love this song, rasanya aku pernah tengok Wings main lagu ni live kat satu show Planet Hollywood satu masa dulu.
- Wings with Orchestra makes their songs even more heavy, Suara Kita is an example.

- Hikayat Penuh Ranjau, bila lagu ni main kan, omputeh cakap "my whole life flash before my eyes" moment. Best giler... Macam nak diri buat star-jump. Anyway lagu ni Joe nye tali gitar putus.
- Anugerah is awesome, build up slowly and then turns 'heavy as fuck'. Complete with a teasing pause after the solo. Dari Tuhan is another one.
- Sayap Ilusi is maybe the sweetest yet saddest song of the whole night. Sedih sey lagu ni.
Lagu ni macam ada accoustic gitar backing gitu, the player should be on stage la pada aku kalau betul ada. Also lagu ni Black takde.

- Awie nye stage banters ni malam banyak poyo, lawak dan jugak informatif, pasal hidup mati, dan dia punye tersasul pasal Bob PAS. Slip of the tounge. Tan sri & Tun dressing banters. the coming soon Menakluk Kosmos album etc etc and not forgetting " enjet enjet semut ".
- Awang Trasher nye backing vocals aku suka. two ladies one guy.
- Aku memang sengaja pilih seat bahagian posisi Dave Murray, so enjoy la tengok Joe dan Black satu malam ngan clear la jugak hehe. Syakila...wooohoo.

- Awie extended jugak stage banter pasal Hillary Ang dan Ian Antono. 3G - 6 series, 5 series, 4 series bmw. Kelakar la deyni.
- Ilusi Intonasi - gerek sey.
- Ian Antono main untuk 4 lagu. Posisi masa three amigos - Joe Wings - Dave Murray, Ian Antono - Adrian Smith, Hillary Ang - Janick Gers.
- Hillary stayed on stage all the way lepas Ilusi Intonasi either on accoustic or gitar karen.
- Ameringo dan Julang Timur Tengah rock abis.

- The Good and Bad about Taman Rashidah Utama in my opinion.
the bad - I miss the original intro. I hope Joe plays the original intro again and not this newish version next time.
the good - Addition of accoustic guitar by Hillary makes this already great song so much more better.
- Ranjang Mawar dan Kota Kemusnahan memang happening, satu slow satu rancak.
- Eddie pun pandai jugak buat lawak masa band introduction.
- Harapan was another awesome moment. Sejati was improvised to a much faster rocking song.
Apa pun aku teringat dulu masa zaman kaset Teori Domino, aku lagi suka lagu Harapan yang kat side B dari lagu Sejati kat Side A tu.
- Show abis, orkestra, pemuzik jemputan, kumpulan Wings ngan family dorang semua naik stage ambik gambo.

Tu je.

As usual, I try to share the bootleg of this show in a few days time... the bootleg will surpass 3hrs I think haha.even withoutt the intro.
