Aku dah baca gossip ni dah berapa minggu tau...tapi makin cantik lak gossip2 ni

mula2 there is an Iron Maiden- Next History Tour in 2012 as everyone is expecting the Maiden England dvd to be out then.

Ni ok la pasal memang logik tapi aku was ingat like end of 2012 gitu...

tapi mula2 desas desus is Dubai opening show April 2012, so aku was thinking KL , Bangkok and Mumbai is probability..

tapi ni aku baca ni...latest rumours its April May 2012 - USA/Canada, followed by European Festivals, followed by Japan, New Zealand.

Logik kot, pasal USA/Canada missed out full 2011 tour, Summer European Festival standard Maiden buat lots of $$$$$, Asia lak - Japan earthquake and tsunami so confirm Maiden nak pergi sana untuk do some shows, Mumbai and Dubai completely missed out 2011 tour, Singapore and Jakarta aku tak rasa promoters berani nak gamble so definitely its Bangkok and KL turn, and of course New Zealand, ni dah serupa trend sejak 2008, 2009..masa dorang dah start pakai Ed Force One.

So, kalo ikut rumours ni...Asia will be after August 2012.....

so, all unnecessary rock n roll activities is freezed-framed... self-discipline time. I just got to give it a try.. one more time. Local show ( spore or kl ) tickets for everyone, and another show just for me ( maybe Mumbai as its the cheapest ).

Speaking of Maiden How come the funniest rumour I read recently is April 2012 new tour ( presumably next History Tour ) will start in Dubai?
Freaking Dubai dont have a budget flight, and I asked my friend who had worked there, he says there are backpackers places there...but I think its going to be too damn expensive. So I think South East Asia will be KL's turn... hooray. Oooo I hope I do have a new job then, yeah, maybe I need two jobs to fulfill my responsibilites and duties haha, but I guess I got to just be self-disciplined to see Maiden again...

In fact tadi baru bual ngan kawan aku budak India, dia cakap " eh dua kerja penat tau", aku tahu la rabak punye lagi dah tua tua gini tak kuat dah..

KK Downing.. leaving Judas Priest is like.. ok, but to leave at this moment? Near start of the so called farewell tour which would be nice if they play in Singapore or Malaysia for me to see them haha. I think there must be a big disagreement for it to end this way...

Judas Priest release one of the best rock albums for me of all time - Defenders Of The Faith, here and there they got some great songs on other albums, but I am not a big fan of their Judas Priest Style/Rob Halford Screaming Heavy Metal. A fan definitely but I wont say I am a big fan... but like others out there, I got my own setlist of how I want Judas Priest to play at my void deck for 2 hours.. tyrant, diamond and rust, jawbreaker, out in the cold, ...hehe...

So...clock went backwards share this amazing bootleg boxset of the 3 shows Judas Priest did in Japan 2008 in Yokohama, and two Tokyo shows including Budokan. A very nice collection for those interested.

Angel is there...the best post reunion song with Rob Halford, and their best song ever Rock Hard Ride Free, is in there too...So makes a nice souvenir especially with KK Downing no more.

Speaking of clock went backwards, the 3 Maiden shows in Australia that I attended has finally received an excellent audio recording treatment by the legendary taper Navigator.

Melbourne one is nice because, for those who attended the Singapore one and realise, like me, something is just not right with Talisman song performance. Bruce did say in Melbourne opening nite ( not the Soundwave show, the first two Intimate Swarray shows I am talking about ) regarding the difficulty of the song and they pushed it nearer the start.

Unfortunately for me, Adrian Smith solo for Coming Home is no more like the Moscow's and Singapore's one, I like that version better haha.

next, the long, so long that everyone forgets about it Sweet Charity's 40th anniversary show in Singapore, which I attended and reviewed few years back? haha, its that long, is to be released as a special edition for the Singapore market only. I think its going to be $60 per set. Freaking expensive hah. I got to dig out the bootleg of this show and listen to it again...Maybe if Black Night which is part of the encore is not included, then I will upload it on youtube.

For Japan

Aku memang nak buat post pasal ni tapi kebetulan smalam kot baru keluar video rakaman antara paling dahsyat masa tsunami kat Jepun, dia punye audio suara2 orang2 yang dekat ngan perakam video ni yang memang pilu sangat dengar.
Aku yang tengok video ni pun fikir, eh orang2 yang kat blakang tu selamat ke? apsal makcik tu siap bawak beg lagik masa lari kena kejar tsunami?

So kat sokkabar Malaysia memang masih ada iklan pandu puteri nye tabung amal untuk mangsa2 di Jepun ni,

kat Singapura lak, aku gi sembahyang jumaat berapa minggu lepas, semua masjid seluruh pulau Singapore kumpul dari jemaah semayang jemaat derma khas untuk mangsa di Jepun.
Plus lain2 la, budak2 madrasah kat Sengkang buat poster untuk ambasador Jepun la, kat F1 Sepang pun ada jugak donation drive, SLeague main bola siap Hidetoshi Nakata turun main dan wasted aku tak follow up nak pergi tengok.

Tapi entah eh pada aku ada yang opportunist, contoh macam apa yang terjadi kat Iron Maiden punye event tshirt untuk 2 shows yang kena kensel pasal tragedi tu hari , ""yang Maiden nye kapalterbang nak landing Tokyo airport lagi sepuluh minit terus terjadi gempa bumi tu dan dorang last minit masa mula buat pendaratan dapat arahan dan kena terbang tinggi balik dan pergi Nagoya airport "" yang jual online ( takde dates untuk bezakan tshirt jual kat tempat lokasi untuk sapa yang betul2 hadir ngan jualan online satu dunia untuk peminat yang nak design tshirt tu), Maiden dah announce setiap penjualan tshirt ni keuntungan pergi kat Red Cross Japan.





Tapi pasal ramai peminat panik, padahal Maiden FC aku rasa dah cetakan keempat design tshirt ni, sampai skarang tshirt ni ada lagi kalo nak beli pasal memang untuk bantu rakyat Jepun yang dalam kesusahan, dan jugak ada yang ambik kesempatan beli lebih masa mula jual dulu, jadi kat ebay boleh la nampak harga tshirt ni melambung2 sampai tu hari dah double price dah peminat2 beli, padahal kalo tunggu FC online bawak stok baru dah ok.

Tapi ni masing2 nye pemikiran kan...

Skarang ni, kalo korang perasan, cetekan event tshirt untuk Tokyo show ( yang ada dates!! untuk sapa yang pergi tu show ), mesti ada somewhere out there kat storeroom atau gudang somewhere in Tokyo. Maiden belum announce lagi apa nak buat ngan tshirt2 ( yang ada dates! ) yang berlambak2 ni.

Aku nak tengok bila diumumkan penjualan ( dan tentu untuk Japan Red Cross jugak la kan ) ngan harga lebih mahal pasal rarity nye, mesti ada orang dapatkan lebih, lepas tu masuk ebay jual harga giler babi, cam baru lepas semalam kelmarin Florida/Tampa shows, event tshirt abis dalam 20 minit kedai merchandise bukak, orang kat depan dah beli banyak2...lepas tu kat ebay harga ada dah sampai nak jual beratus2 dah...

So another disturbing, distressing, horrible video to appear in youtube regarding the Japanese Tsunami which Ed Force One missed the prior earthquake at Tokyo during their arrival by about 10mins.

The online Event Tshirt for Japan ( with no dates for those not at the show but want the design ), is I think doing a lot of sales with I think being sold out for at least 3 times when immediately put on sale, and now I think reprinted again and still available with all proceed to Japanese Red Cross.
I read stories of Maiden fans who even bought sizes that are not theirs just because they are afraid the tshirt is out of stock for good and they just want to support the charity drive and also to have a remembrance of this event. Good For Them.



I thought of going for the charity football match in the local Singapore football league which features Hidetoshi Nakata but cannot make it.

Anyway its very warm feeling to read up daily Malaysian newspapers with ads from the Girl Guides asking donations for the Japanese tragedy, even during the F1 Sepang previous week there were donation drives,

while in Singapore, there was a week when the Friday Prayers congregation in all mosques in Singapore support a special donation for the Japanese people.



So now lets see, what happens to the REAL event tshirt for the Japanese shows ( with the dates!! for the people who are actually there ), which must now be lying in Tokyo somewhere.
I think if the price is maybe reasonable I would also get one as a sign to support the Japanese Red Cross but I doubt so as I think the price will be expensive and even much more so when some hits ebay.

Fifty Years of Hurt - Newcastle United

Baru abis buku ni pinjam library Kalau kita ingat team kita tongong, atau kita kenang nasib team kita macam kentang, ada team lain lagi teruk lagik..

Aku tertarik baca buku ni pasal penulis dia memang hardcore Newcastle fan dari budak2. Pergi stadium semua, ikut away game, sampai dia dah tua.. Jadi memang dia tulis tu dari point of view peminat...

Aku kureng sikit baca buku ke hapa ke, yang penulis tu dari kita baca kita dah tau dorang not a fan. Tulis pasal dorang kerja, atau pasal topik tu tengah 'flavour of the month '. Buku ni ada cerita sampai gaduh2 antara Lee Boyer ngan Kieron Dyer yang kita semua tentu masih ingat lagik.. PALING LAWAK DALAM SEJARAH, bergaduh ngan team mate masa game tengah on. Best la buku ni especially zaman Kevin Keegan, zaman Gullit ngan Sexy Football dia, dan dari buku ni, memang la Newcastle Fans memang gerek. besok sambung...

Queensryche Empire 20th Anniversary Edition

Queensryche ni kan.. aku minat giler album Operation Mindcrime, lagi satu aku minat ialah Empire. Yang lain tak dengar takpe.

Operation Mindcrime ni legenda ialah sampai Bruce Dickinson gaduh2 time keluar Maiden dulu, salah satu benda dia cakap ialah kenapa Maiden tak boleh buat production SSOASS macam Mindcrime

Album Empire pulak, lagenda cd ni zaman dulu tu ialah dikatakan bila orang test studios dan sound sistem kat Amerika, dorang akan gunakan cd Empire ni.

TETAPI aku cuma dengar Queensryche ni cuma pakai earphone je masa jalan kaki, kat bus stop, dalam bas, dalam tren, memang sound ni dua album best, tapi lagi penting untuk aku lagu kebanyakkan dia memang best. Cuma aku ikut mood, nak dengar lagu laju ke lagu slow ke, lagu panjang ke lagu pendek aje. Selalu aku skip lagu merempat Della Brown, tapi kadang2 aku dengar jugak.. lagu merempat tak agak2 nye. Kira semua best la lagu2 kat album ni. Silent Lucidity ni pun dah tua2 ni makin hari makin sedap haha.

Tu hari aku jumpa cd Queensryche Empire 20th anniversary edition, ngan remastering, extra songs dan extra cd yang ada lagu2 live dari Hammersmith London November 1990 ngan harga sg$21 so aku beli ler. Ngan seken cd live ni jadi seluruh konsert malam tu dah complete pasal aku dah ada lagi satu cd masa beli Operation Mindcrime deluxe edition yang aku pernah cerita kat sini - gambobanyakdahhilang

A short review of this wonderful album remastered and repackaged.

Found this 20th anniversary edition double cd at an attractive price. The songs that we all know from Empire, sounds even better. I only listened to them on earphones in the streets and on public transport and its fantastic especially Eddie Jackson is here there and everywhere haha.

I think if you are reading this then you will definitely have enjoyed Empire since before, but there is 3 more songs on the first cd... two kind of cute songs Last Time In Paris and Dirty Lil Secret plus a fantastic cover version of Scarborough Fair.

Second cd is the gem I am waiting for, because it completes the whole Hammersmith London November 15 1990 show where the first part of the show can be found on the extra cd of the Operation Mindcrime deluxe edition which I had bought and shown the photos here about 3 years ago - operationmincrimedeluxe The seven songs from Empire played on this nite transform into live very well, although I wish Another Rainy Night is included because I really love this song. I always wondered how songs like Empire, Thin Line, Jet City Woman is performed live with all the different Geoff Tate singing lines.. It would be nice to see Queensryche live during the Mindcrime and Empire era.

aku dah cerita kat satu kawan aku, kat sini blum..

ada satu cleaner ni tau, kalo tiap2 kali jumpa, senyum angguk2 kepala, last2 borak.. dah tua dah... for whatever reason dia masih kena kerja.. so biasalah borak2... aku suka tanya2 question...especially aku nak tahu jugak pasal gaji dapat berapa, sapa tau besok lusa.(aku kena realistik in life), anyway janji kerja gaji halal aku tak cerewet.

so aku tanya ' off hari apa? ".

dia jawab " hari selasa ".

aku tanya lagi " apsal ambik hari selasa offday? ". aku ni kepoci.

dia jawab " hari selasa nak pergi belajar mengaji "

Salute beb, aku salute cleaner tua ni... aku sudah imejin, lagi 6 hari tu, bila kerja time dia kena sapu sampah, mop lantai, basuh toilet, basuh muntah orang...kena kutuk ngan cleaning supervisor kalo dapat supervisor on rabak giler nye, wa sua imejin malaikat-malaikat semua ngah doakan untuk dia supaya dapat perlindungan pasal dia punye niat kerja, dapat satu hari off tapi hari off tu dia pilih untuk buat sesuatu yang baik.

anyway, enjet enjet semut sapa sakit naik atas rocks.

dvd Lovehunters live at the Esplanade

On my experience attending this show, I did mentioned that this gig could be the best show I am fortunate to be present for 2011 even though I am seeing my favourite band Iron Maiden four times on the current tour. I still say that this Lovehunters show is as good and amazing as any of the four Iron Maiden gigs I attended this year. Lovehunters were just as electric and their entertainment momentum never miss a beat for the 3 hours plus they were on stage.

The great surprise is this dvd content includes all the stage banter/Mat Kental Buah story/Grand Funk/Led Zep covers in it, so we have about 2hr 45 mins of content, I really like the sound of this dvd and satisfied with the packaging and picture quality. Love the camera on the drummer. This after usually being dissaptointed by some other Singapore/Malaysia rock n roll bands who come out with poor quality dvds. That is why usually I will do my own personal taping of local rock concerts I attend in Spore/KL/JB for my own listening pleasure and memories of the event because I know even if there is an official release, I tend to be dissapointed with the content and quality.

A great buy this DVD. Strongly recommended. I got it at Muzika for $21. Because I bought an extra copy. UNFORTUNATELY - The three songs featuring Ramli Sarip - Demi Cinta/Bayang-Bayang/Blues Untuk Rakyat is not included, must be some sort of music label issues. What a waste. Anyway, I had uploaded these three songs audio performances of that night from my own humble personal recording in youtube. But please do not make this an excuse not to get this dvd ok? Next, eagerly waiting for the Sweet Charity dvd of their 40th anniversary show at the same place.
