Anyway....BERITA ANGIN MUTAKHIR YANG PALING LAWAK TAPI ADA POSSIBILITY
1) Rumour pertama datang dari satu Spore Maiden fan -
FEBRUARY 2009, Metallica and Iron Maiden are coming to Singapore.
Aku ketawa je pasal memang tak logik ler untuk Maiden, too good to be true lagipun aku expect kalo kata Maiden datang South East Asia pun, at least end of 2009 or early 2010 untuk the 15th ( album studio terakhir?? ) studio album world tour.
2) Tapi hari ni, aku baca kat porum Maiden, satu rumour dari satu peminat Australia yang Maiden akan pergi Australia February 2009 ni ngan the BIG SHOW. Ni aku rasa sama production ngan current world tour, tapi pasal Australia bulan dua lepas tak dapat full huge productions of the stage, jadi ni kali dorang bawak Eddie besar belakang back drop dan the Egyptians cats and dogs in full 3D.
Ni memang rumour tapi dari berita lawak, aku rasa macam ada possibility 0.00000000001% possible. Pasal ada satu Maiden fan yang antara Maiden fan paling huge dalam dunia reply kat thread tu dan cakap "fact..".
Kalo dorang ada flight B777 Ed Force One sendiri, dorang bleh stopover mana2 dorang nak.
So....? Aku cam dah terexcited dah... Nasib baik nari keja malam, so memang tak boleh tido, kalo tak aku memang tak bleh tido ni malam...HUA HUA HUA!!
Memang ni semua berita angin, tapi kadang2, dreams can come true kan.

aku terus addict dan tiap2 hari kena baca hehehe...Chaos dan brutal abis household dorang, tapi kelakar, touching dan very cunning.

1994 Promo cd Rahim Maarof
Aku jumpa promo cd 'not for sale' label EMI ni, $4 , masa ngah jalan2 carik Iron Maiden ( what else? ) dan barang2 lain yang orang dah tak nak.
Interesting jugak ler, pasal ni dari tahun 1994 dan ada dua instrumental tracks yang ada ke takde kot dalam actual kaset Rahim Maarof.

Dan jugak aku tak pernah ada promo cd album melayu so this is a good buy untuk aku.
Macam ngah winning streak gitu aku..
kira sejak aku jumpa Ramli Sarip boxset tu kan? aku dah jumpa Wings & Superfriends double cd merah x 1, cd hijau x 2, kaset tribute ramli sarip original mint condition yang aku tak pernah ada, Strangers nye cd ( aku tak tahu pun Strangers nye album tu ada pressing cd ) , sweet charity seri hari raya nye piring hitam yang WEA release lagu raya tu, dan macam2 lagi ler.. , jaybon, Herman Rarebell nye 1981 solo etc.. ada aku beli pelan2 kalo ada budget, tapi mostly aku nengok2 je hehe, tapi Maiden yang aku nak, takde lak haha.
dah terlanjur cakap pasal Rahim Maarof ni kan, lagu2 dia tu jenis yang kalo aku dengar kat radio, most of the time aku akan tukar saluran ler, pasal aku tak minat sangat.. tapi masa aku nengok dia live, apa aku impressed ialah, dia aku nengok macam take really good care of himself even usia dah lanjut. Masih hensem, smart mamat, dan he really looks healthy and fit. Aku suka nengok dia macam gitu.

southern ridges ( part iv ) - con't Forest Walk & Alexandra Arch
The last part of my Southern Ridges stroll till I go there again to check out the rest of the area.
This stretch is very serene.

These are some remaining photos of the Forest Walk as it is reaching its end.
The Forest Walk has a branched-out portion which leads to an area where the public can plant a tree.
Maybe one day I want to try coming here at night, but I think this place sure 'keras' one. So maybe takpelah.

This is I think the Alexandra Arch. I just realise this area is the old goverment dental clinic or institute. When I was doing my full time NS, I used to come here to have my dental check up as it is so cheap. But now, I think they have move to SGH.

I strongly recommend all of you to take a stroll at the Southern Ridges. Its a fantastic experience and its free.
Bring lots of water to drink please, and I was there at noon, but there are lots of shades as you can see from the photos so dont worry too much about the timing.
If you take a look at the 3rd photo from bottom, there is a signage informing how far certain portions of the stretch are. But the walk will be so enjoyable and interesting that you wont feel it. So its also a good form of exercise.

somewhere back in time vinyl

Kat foto ni.. SBIT tu kat tengah lantai, ngan cd cover dan vinyl Somewhere In Time ngan Powerslave kiri kanan dia.. ngan Iron Maiden first LP Japanese pressing with OBI dan No Prayer For The Dying nye alternative picture vinyl yang oooo so cantik pasal aku tak suka artwork yang NPFTD nye yang kat kubur tu...
Kompilasi Somewhere Back In Time ini diterbitkan lebih untuk pendengar2 baru yang nak try sample Maiden, pendengar2 lama yang tak sangat ada koleksi Maiden, dan jugak completionist.
Aku tak beli cd dia pasal budget tak mengizinkan tapi instead aku beli versi piring hitam dia yang aku rasa since long run aku akan nak satu, aku kena beli satu sekarang pasal harga dia aku rasa akan naik dan naik dari hari ke hari yang nanti impossible untuk aku nak beli lagipun memang susah nak dapatkan benda2 ni kat Singapura, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur.
Ooo lupa, by the way Derek Riggs kembali untuk lukis artworks, tapi skarang dah lain sikit pasal dia semua pakai computer dah.. Apa pun, yang penting hopefully dorang semua dah tak mau gaduh2 walau Derek Riggs ada sikit macam siot cakap besar tentang contribution dia untuk Maiden.
Lawa, nak2 yang artwork Eddie Cyborg by itself tu..
Tak yah ler, aku cerita lagu2 dan versi dari mana lagu2 tu diambil untuk album ni..Kat internet info banyak dah...dan pasal ni semua lagu2 yang korang grow up with.
Mula2 aku fikir, dan ramai lagi peminat Maiden aku rasa sama,- macam siol jugak eh Iron Maiden ngan company dorang release kompilasi ni. Nak mencekik duit peminat. Tapi fikir balik, aku rasa this is a most significant compilation release pasal current tour SBIT ni tarik ramai orang yang sebelum ni tak dengar Maiden, tarik balik pendengar lama minat balik kat dorang, dan untuk loyal Maiden fans, macam sense of redemption gitu la.., macam kalo nengok success Iron Maiden skarang, tumpang gembira ler.. feel proud gitu.
Dah konpem berjuta orang dah dorang main untuk ni current tour, stadiums selling out.., ok ni quite normal, tapi kat USA, dorang dapat mainstream recognisation after all these years, sapa sangka eh... Aku tak sangka....tapi aku happy.
