satu tu dah kejar perompak rampas beg, then dah bantai perompak tu, perompak tu tanya apsal get so worked up over a bag?
dia jawab " its not just a bag, its PRAADAAH!!"





Dalam hidup aku, the coolest beg ialah waktu zaman aku kecik2 dulu, budak2 lagi besar dari aku zaman tu suka bawak beg yang panjang ke bawah tu takde zip tu, beg Grandsport eh? (sapa boleh ingat ni beg??) hah..tu ler beg paling stylo aku pernah nampak tapi aku tak pernah ada. sigh.


Aku pakai beg sling lama dah 5 tahun dah yang kaler grey tu, so better half aku dah tegur suruh tukar baru, so apa lagi...ni ler chance aku nak grab beg yang aku memang dah impikan, dan sampai aku sedih sangat tu hari lepas ada time tu, ni beg dah Out Of Stock. Nasib baik stock baru datang hahaha.

Dan ni lak comparison size dia ngan kertas A4.
Boleh letak payung. hehe...yes, aku mana2 aku pegi aku akan bawak payung. Payung pompuan gitu boleh lipat2 kecik2. Korang jangan kutuk2 aku "mat payung-payung" eh. kalo hujan nanti terperangkap kat mana2.

Aku ni kan mana2 jalan kaki/naik bas/lrt/mrt aje. So payung tu penting untuk orang cam aku.





Tunggu payung Iron Maiden keluar lak haha. Kalo wife aku tahu next aku tunggu payung Maiden lak, abis aku haha.

sebulan lebih dah, aku tak jemu2 dengar Roxette's dont bore us get to the chorus kat mp3 player aku. Lebih2 lagi those four "new" tracks. Berbelas tahun dah aku ada cd ni. Roxette rules ok.

Anyway, tempat ni seems jadi port baru drivers bas express fave aku huhu..

I am quite happy ngan tempat ni, pasal nampak cam Muslim owned? Sorry la eh aku teka je. Pasal..ada tempat, we can see muslim ladies manning the counters etc, tapi tempat makan tu bukan Muslim owned. Aku rather support Muslim owned food establishments especially masa time naik bas. Kalo kita tak support, sapa nak support? tapi kalo macam $*%& for whatever reasons, sori ah. My opinion je k.

Aku tak gi, .. kerja shift, memang kadang2 disadvantaged bila gini ler, waktu korang smua golek2 time malam, waktu korang malingering on weekends, org keja shift tersiksa beb haha, dan macam bia$a, kita hidup me$ti ada keutamaan bila $pending dan nak ambik leave. dah ler recession etc.

( dan aku masih tak tahu cammana nak gi istanabudaya guna pengangkutan awam, better learn fast cause aku baca korang ceta Amy Search pun nak perform kat sana kan. )



So..aku ingat nak post sesuatu menarik pasal M Nasir, jadi aku ada ni item je untuk share yang mungkin tak ramai orang mempunyai original dia. Aku rasa ni specific show dah fully broadcasted on tv, dan duplicate copies dia banyak kot passing2 di kalangan peminat M Nasir. Tapi untuk sapa tak pernah nengok, ni ler ori nye.

Aku dapat masa launching nye hari kat amiran lama dulu tahun 2000 kot? So dah lama ler. memang M Nasir ada, siap tandatangan autographed kat 1st disc untuk those beli masa launching tu.

Another trivia - Andalusia kat cd tu, yang last song tu, aku takde cd tu sekarang kat depan aku, tapi makcik2 pakcik2 suka dengar lagu tu pasal ada..what is it kat lagu tu? aku tak tahu apa nak describe. Ada sesuatu kat dalam lagu Andalusia tu untuk sapa yang tahu.

Gambar background tu semua kalo sapa tak tahu, tu Led Zeppelin. Aku gunakan centerfold buku yang dapat ngan boxset Led Zep yang besar kaler kuning tu..Aku rasa sesuai ler kot, M Nasir ngan Led Zep? hahaha.
Dua2 nye lagu macam2 style.. dan memang kadang2 tu rock abis. (Express Rakyat is so perfect and typical of zaman dulu in harmony between the two countries. Sekarang, siot ah, tak semua tapi sebahagian memang attitude against each other memang macam $*&%!!)

Another bit of trivia about him.
M Nasir kat studio heart 91.3fm masa dia kena interview tentang dia sibuk kat studio untuk pembikinan album Wings Jerangkung Dalam Almari dulu.
That time, M Nasir promote album ni kat pendengar radio sebagai Braders ( or Brothers ) dan aku rasa lepas tu baru album name switched to JDA at the last minit.

so ada ler callers telepon tanya macam2..satu aku tak boleh lupa sounds something like this.

pemanggil telefon - Pakcik M Nasir, kenapa pakcik dah tak jadi rakyat Singapore lagik?

Ini keratan sokkabar Dubai pasal show Maiden berapa hari lepas kat sana.
IRAQ, SYRIA, IRAN, Lebanon.. etc. Seluruh peminat timur tengah travel pegi nengok dorang.
Satu family travel dari Baghdad, satu orang UAE ni isteri dia dah due, tapi dia bawak sekali pasal dia tak mau miss apa2 muahaha.
Pada aku, NO other band in history have a loyal and dedicated fan base this large anywhere in the World.
Commitment peminat Maiden satu dunia memang tahap kerja giler \m/

aloha
aku baru dapat sms pasal Search nak live aprroximate 10 shows etc as we all are aware of the rumours, tapi aku baca balik sms tu, aku nengok betul2, apsal ada word "farewell tour"?
tidak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha.

tapi I always love Search, walau sejarah aku minat dorang, siap aku dah tiga kali kena bubble siap beli tiket and konsert kensel di JB, KL dan Spore. Rekod la. Nanti aku carik balik tiket2 tu kalo aku masih simpan buat memorabilla.

Aku rasa kalo on dan memang betul ni 'farewell', aku nak gi at least dua shows la untuk ni 10 dates ni.
JB and KL. Tapi Shah Alam? ala... sana public transport aku tak pass ler.

Konpem bukan next tour tahun 2010-2011 new album tour, kecuali tempat dekat2, up to Bangkok boleh naik bas express so ok bawak love ones aku this time.
Mungkin...2012-2013 next history tour? Dream On Dream On...huhu.

Anyway, here it is for anyone interested, poorly taken feeding photos of Meerkats at Mandai. Hope to do better next time.

aku rasa aku pernah ceta, antara binatang aku paling fascinated sekali ialah Meerkat. Satu hari nanti ada rezeki, cita2 aku nak sambar complete dvd dokumentari 'Meerkat Manor' pasal dulu kat tv aku tak dapat nengok. Aku carik ciplak nye takde ler. Ori harga semelih.
Everytime aku tengok Meerkat, aku mesti gambarkan dorang macam lagu Iron Maiden The Trooper

Last time kita gi tu, coincidently tengah feeding time untuk Meerkat, tapi kamera aku was running out of batt, jadi aku takde peluang nak CUBA ambik apa aku nak.

apa pun, takkan nak step kasar je kan? mesti ada step bunga2 jugak kan?
dan ni dia obligatory step bunga nye gambo hahaa. Ni kat tempat Madagascar Lemur tu..

Aku kena belajar snap manual ah..aku fail teruk ler kalo nak snap manual. sigh. Walaupun aku pakai kamera itik, tapi manual mode aku rasa complete walau tak canggih, rugi aku tak utilise fully.


Ooo sebelum aku lupa, ingat tu hari aku tampal komodo dragon then aku heran apsal dorang asingkan? pasal rupanye2 preknen tak salah aku...huhu.

Malaysian rocker Awie of Wings does it for the fans

IT WAS supposed to have been the mother of all Malay rock concerts. Legendary Malaysian rock band Wings was set to celebrate their 21st anniversary with a concert at Suntec City on Nov 7 last year.

However, just days before the show, the organisers announced that Wings would not be coming to town after all. Instead, the show would be headlined by what were originally the guest artistes — rock band Kristal, and several members from rock outfits Lovehunters, Lefthanded and May.
.
No concrete explanation was given, although the Malay newspapers reported that there was a “miscommunication” between Awie and the promoter, and the blogosphere was rife with speculation. Last Friday, Awie, the lead singer from Wings, cleared the air and apologised to fans.

WHY HE BAILED
.
“I just want to say sorry to the fans. It’s not that I wanted to purposely spite them,” he told Today over the phone from Kuala Lumpur.
.
According to Awie, the promoter had reneged on the sum that was owed. Instead of paying the agreed 50 per cent before the show, Awie had only been paid “a few thousand”. And the promoter had started fudging when Awie pressed the issue.
.
“She offered thousands of excuses,” Awie said. After attempts to meet up with the promoter fell through, Awie, in frustration, decided to cancel the show.
.
“Really, I tried my best to help, but ... I had to protect the interests of my friends — Wings — because I was the middleman, and I didn’t want them to think that I was sabotaging them either,” he continued. “So, I’m very sorry. That’s all I can say about it.”
.
The promoter could not be contacted for a comment by press time.
.
Still, Awie is making up for it. Fans have already started snapping up tickets for Konsert Power Rock 2009 at Republic Polytechnic this weekend. Organised by Xtreme Music, the concert will also feature Rahmat (from Mega), Ali XPDC and Shamrin (of Fotograf) who will be backed by musicians from Meditasi, Lefthanded, Yakamashi, Def Gab C and Metalasia.

Already, all top-tier tickets ($88 and $128) have sold out, and organisers are now offering a “clearance sale”, with all the remaining tickets going at $34.
.
That’s provided, however, that things go well with Awie’s father who has been hospitalised with a viral infection.
.
“I’m not too sure what kind of viral infection it is but it’s quite serious,” Awie said.
.
“He had to have a second operation. Hopefully, he’ll pull through.”
.
At press time, Xtreme Music had confirmed Awie’s presence.
.
Awie himself said he will be “rocking out” with his own solo numbers and Wings hits, adding that he really likes performing in Singapore because the fans are “crazy”.
.
“Yeah, the last time we performed in Singapore, the fans threw their bras on to the stage, and started throwing money at me. I was like, ‘Wow!’ You don’t expect this from Singapore,” he said.

Awie, born Ahmad Azhar bin Othman, began his career fronting Wings, which scored hits with albums such as Hukum Karma, Teori Domino and Bazooka Penaka.
.
He left the band in 1994 after reportedly disagreeing with the other members, but re-joined in 2002 after the band received lukewarm fan response to his replacements.
.
In between, Awie pursued a solo singing career as well as an acting career, and starred in films such as Sembilu (1994), Baik Punya Cilok (2005) and Antoo Fighter (2008).
.
The 40-year-old rocker has four children, two from a previous marriage, and two from his current wife Rozana Misbun. Thankfully, he said, juggling family and his job isn’t as hard as some might think. “My wife is really very understanding. She knows I have to do my work.
.
“And when it’s work, that’s my top priority. Thank God I have a good and understanding wife.”
.
Of course, with great fame comes greater chances of being tabloid fodder. Last December, it was reported that Awie headed part of a secret society called Kumpalan Naga in Malaysia, and that he gets RM3,600 ($1,500) for every member who joins. “That (rumour is) irritating,” he groused. “I’m suing them because that’s really too much! It really hurts my reputation and I don’t want people to believe that. I’ve already talked to my lawyers.
.
“But at least people are still talking about me, good or bad,” he conceded. “It’s free publicity. They say all kinds of things, but now I’m immune to all that. So, thanks to all the people who are talking good or bad about me; I don’t get mad from that. Thanks very much!”
.
Right now, the actor-singer has no plans on slowing down. In fact, he’s still chasing a dream: To perform with Metallica.
.
“I think everybody would love to play with Metallica. Maybe if they come to do a show in Malaysia or even Singapore. It’s my dream! I mean, I’ve played with (rock band) Europe, so nothing is impossible!”
